Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief. Madonna hasn’t jumped on the celebrity bob train, she was just wearing a wig made of real human hair, and wanted some attention:
The 48-year-old star, who revealed her latest image overhaul at a photography exhibition last week, has had the hairpiece made for her next pop video.
The truth was only revealed when Madonna took to the stage of the Tokyo Dome, wearing her hair in its more familiar, 1970s-inspired shoulder length style.
Clearly enamoured with the look however, she wore it for the latter stages of her set.
The wig was created by the singer’s Beverly Hills hairdresser Andy LeCompte, who has been with her throughout her 60-date, four-month world tour.
The bespoke bobbed hairpiece is thought to be made from real human hair, giving it a more natural appearance.
She must have realized that climbing on the cross over and over again can only generate so much controversy, and that only super-religious people actually give a shit. The rest of us will pay attention when she radically changes her look again, which used to be her MO too, but now it seems like she’s too chicken to actually go through with it.
She paid how much? Seriously?
She’s OLD!!!!
