These are some photos of John Travolta and his bushy wiglet from a few days ago. He just loves getting all dressed up in leather, doesn’t he? Well, the event was for Bombardier (a company that makes planes), and Travolta was just named the brand ambassador. He also just bought another plane too – a Bombardier, obviously. I don’t even know how many planes John has now. I feel like… maybe four or five? He has more planes than he knows what to do with. Anyway, John gave an interview to People Magazine about his newest gig, and he gave away a hilarious little detail – whenever he tries to travel solo (for various reasons that I’m sure have nothing to do with international spa dong), his family dong-blocks him.

Most families buy plane tickets when they want to go on vacation. The Travoltas? They buy a new plane.

John Travolta recently purchased a Bombardier Challenger 601 jet that he and his family will use to travel around the globe, much to the delight of his wife and kids.

“My family fortunately loves traveling,” the newly announced Bombardier brand ambassador told PEOPLE Tuesday. “Whenever I say, ‘I have to go to Australia or Paris,’ they say, ‘When are we going? I’m there.’ ”

But Travolta admits that his wife Kelly Preston and their daughter Ella consider the new purchase to be a “whole new era for us.”

The Challenger is the latest – and largest – in a line of aircrafts purchased by Travolta, who started taking lessons when he was just 15 years old. He had his license by 23.

“I love [flying] so much that I built my house next to a [runway] so I could fly my jet to my front door,” he told reporters.

And while the avid aviator’s baby boy Benjamin, 9 months, may be too young to earn his wings, Ella, 11, has already exhibited a fondness towards aircrafts.

“I was flying these little sports planes that I have and she showed interest in that,” Travolta says.

“I just love being in the air. It has been my family time. I’ve enjoyed that.”

This actor has been under a lot of scrutiny about his sexuality. While he has been keeping a very low public profile (with the exception of a magazine cover here or there), he isn’t exactly sitting at home with the wife and kids night after night. In fact, he recently made an appearance at a WeHo gay bar with some male friends. They were swigging down drinks and cracking jokes about a certain organization to which he belongs. No, the organization is not The Hair Club for Men.

Poor John. I actually manage some sympathy for him. He’s in deep with a cult, his wife has a lot of power in the cult, he loves his kids and he loves meeting stranger men in spas.

… but he also owns a lot of planes and he goes on international spa-dong tours, leaving his wife and kids at home. So does it all even out, sympathy-wise?
