These are some new photos of Robert Pattinson arriving in Toronto to do some reshoots on his David Cronenberg film, Cosmopolis. He’s working a grungy beard, which he’ll likely have to shave (he’s clean-shaven in the Cronenberg film). Apparently, before he got on Canadian soul, Sparkles was full of rage! Shocking, I know. He’s the least rage-filled actor I can think of. Apparently, he almost punched out a paparazzo:

Robert Pattinson is having a no good very bad day! The 25-year-old actor was photographed coming out of a meeting at the International Creative Management Talent Agency in LA on Sept. 26 and he got so upset that he balled up his fist and starting advancing towards an X17 photographer. But luckily a friend of Rob’s calmed him down before he made a huge mistake!

“Rob already seemed to be in a bad mood as he was leaving ICM and when he saw me, he just snapped,” the photographer tells X17. “I was just standing there, taking his picture, not saying anything, not getting too close and he just went off. He clenched his fist and got ready to hit me, but his friend told him to stop and calmed him down.”

Wow! We’re shocked that Rob would get so upset. Isn’t Rob used to be followed around constantly by now? There must be something more to Rob’s blowup. Perhaps a bad meeting … or just missing Kristen Stewart?

Poor Sparkles. I know he gets it worse than Kristen Stewart, and maybe he’s just found his breaking point. Or maybe that one photographer was just a major a–hole.

Sparkles on being nervous: “Embarrassingly, the thing I was most nervous about was taking my shirt off.”

Pattinson has said of his final scenes with Stewart: “It was amazing finishing out in the Caribbean… It was like, ‘Why couldn’t we have been shooting in the Caribbean the whole time? I would have done another five!'”

The baby: “We had an animatronic baby,” Pattinson says. “It was like Chucky from Child’s Play!”

Sparkles’ top confidant when choosing new projects? “My dad” — who, he notes, “compares every single script to Jaws and Superman.”

Sparkles’ biggest weakness? Pretzel M&M’s. “I go through bags and bags of those a week.”

On cooking: “I can’t cook … I only just manage to make some toast”

I find pretzel M&Ms gross, but I’m all about the peanut butter M&Ms. Those are like crack to me when I get a craving for them. Mm… I could go for some right now. Anyway, whatever, Sparkles loves the beach and candy and he can’t cook and he doesn’t like to take his shirt off. He’s kind of lovely and sweet.
