It never ceases to amaze me how many photos LeAnn Rimes takes of herself. She’s not just taking photos of herself – she’s also putting all of those photos on her Twitter, so the world can enjoy what she probably considers her “glamour shots”. I’ve included some recent ones in this post. The one of LeAnn on the urinal is so… ugh. Girl. Stop.
Anyway, LeAnn appears on a new episode of Ellen, and she’s talking about the only two things that make her relevant, of course: her sketchy relationship with Eddie, and her weight. Here’s video:
As genuinely happy as LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian seem to be in their first year of marriage bliss, it appears they can’t escape the elephant in the room; both LeAnn and Eddie were married when they fell in love.
Married in April of this year, both parties have been quite vocal in their newfound happiness, but less eager to speak of the uglier elements of their past. LeAnn sat down with The Ellen DeGeneres Show for an episode airing Thursday, September 29 to clear the air and hopefully gain understanding from critics and tabloids.
“We made decisions that were not necessarily the right ones,” she begins, “but it obviously brought us to the place where we are now. And, we’re happy and we’re married.”
“It happens,” LeAnn continues. “I will always say, it could’ve been handled a lot better but maybe we both didn’t have the tools at the time to do it properly.”
As for their respective exes, Rimes’ former husband recently re-married and seems to prefer to keep mum on the subject. Cibrian’s ex is the newest cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and is unfortunately quite a bit more vocal. In her Monday debut, Brandi Glanville refers to Eddie as the “Number one douche bag of all time.”
Regardless of what people might have to say on the matter, Rimes says the best thing she’s learned to do it simply “let it go and laugh at it at the end of the day.”

Okay, I’m going to take a moment and defend LeAnn about one thing: I like that she’s never flat-out denied that she and Eddie had an affair while they were both married. Often, she’ll talk around the issue, and yes, she tries to paint herself as the victim and claim that none of us really know what happened, but she never plays the “we never cheated, y’all” card. Eddie has lied about it before, but LeAnn never has. I like that even LeAnn knows that she can’t get away with that lie.
That being said, the bitch is still crazy. Especially about weight issues/body image issues.

That urinal shot is skeezing me out — how disgusting is that? Unless that is the personal toilet of Howie Mandell (because I would trust that one to be CLEAN), that is about the most ICKY thing EVER.

What’s even funnier is there is like crickets in the audience. When people usually make comments about something, don’t the audience members normally clap in agreeance? Tuscany must have been wonderful this time of year. Indian summer throughout southern Europe and who could pass up staring at David’s big dong in Firenze. We did a quick over-night in Trieste. If I’d known you were so close we could have had lunch.
IMO the current animosity towards her isn’t about her affair or her weight it’s her behavior with another woman’s kids and jaw dropping narcissism. Enough of us have gone through step parent situations to grasp the delicacy, sacrifice and ongoing compromise it takes to make it work. “At the end of the day” Leanne just doesn’t appear to have the “tools” do any of those things. And kudos to Brandi G- she deserves a nobel peace prize for not killing her.

Here’s my take. If your relationship is borne out of cheating on one or both sides, the best way to handle it is to shut up about it and stop trying to justify it by blabbing about how happy you are now! I think two cheaters who have devastated other people, including very small children, could sacrifice that one small thing and just shut the hell up. You don’t get to go on talk shows and gush about how in love you are. Just be quiet, go on with your life and let everyone else do so, too. This has two effects: you don’t continue to hurt and humiliate the people you cheated on, and you don’t look like a total ass later one when you get cheated on, too…which, you will. Believe me, you will.

Croatia could not have been nicer. We never spent more than one night in any one place. Drove from Zabreb, Rijeka, Pula, Trieste, down the coast to Split and to Dubrovnik. Visited every little coastal and inland village along the way. Beautiful lake country. The Adriatic is the most beautiful water in the world.
On a couple of occasions I told the waitress…”Your Mama misses Croatia”. Got a few strange looks but one replied, “How do you know my mother has been in England”. My husband stepped in and said, “Never mind, it’s just my wife’s quirky Canadian sense of humor”. We’re not Canadian but we claim to be when we’re being silly in public…(it’s a good diversion from the “ugly American” label….sorry Canuckies)

Your comment actually reminded me of a New York Times “Vows” article that appeared over the summer where the whole article was about how the new couple had been married to other people when their affair started. Worse, the original couples involved had been friends/travelled together on coupley trips, etc. Before the new couple left their respective spouses and announced it in the Times-included having pics of the clearly unhappy children at their wedding plastered across that section of the paper. The shitstorm that followed across the net was unreal.

Cannot bring myself to watch the Ellen interview because I am tired of LeAnn Rimes and the endless dribble of fecal matter spewing from her mouth. From reading others’ opinions above:
LeAnn has upgraded last year’s victim card of “I wasn’t given the tools the right way” to “WE weren’t given the right tools”? Eddie Cibrian’s parents supposedly “adore” their new daughter-in-law and she threw ’em under the bus to cover her homewrecking skank of a husband’s arse.
Got a new album out? Appear on a wildly popular talk show… and don’t talk about the album. LeAnn was on the Ellen show for the same reason she posted that blog entry within an hour of Brandi’s debut; damage control. The Ellen interview wasn’t about the new album, it was acknowledging that after two years of having the upper hand over Brandi (PR management, high-priced lawyers, fan base), Brandi Glanville is no longer an easy target…
… Even worse for LeAnn and Eddie Rimes – but to my schadenfreude delight – is the potential that WeWe and her gigilo might be, OMG, say it isn’t so (!), finally made responsible for their passive (and often not passive) aggressive actions towards a relatively helpless Brandi Glanville.
I’m talking about LeAnn Rimes’ scary-ass behaviour by following Brandi Glaville to the school and nearly causing a vehicular accident by swerving to cut Brandi off so she could throw Brandi a peace sign. Then later that day she texted Brandi (how did she get the number, Eddie?) about her lovely new home, the ideal stalking distance from the oldest’s school.
These are the things LeAnn is worried Brandi could reveal with her new national platform. But only in LeAnn’s spoilt, narcasisstic world is this behaviour forgivable, because she didn’t have the “tools” to do better.

I’m embarrassed to admit, but I’ve been watching that show H8er and I’m dying for someone to appear on the show and profess their hate for Lemann. The best part about it would be that she’s such a raging attention whore/narcissist that she’d probably agree to appear and try to convince that we have it all wrong.

What was that thing EC was saying about how the media picks the photos of LR that make her look bad or skinny? So as we can see the photos that are making her look bad and skinny are ones that SHE is posting not the media.
When she says it could have been handled better perhaps she is talking about Eddie and how he kept denying the affair and therefore forcing her to go to US Weekly to expose the affair. Or was she talking about how EC could have just left his wife instead of calling her a speedbump and she wouldn’t have had to take drastic measures, like going to US Weekly and tipping off the paps so that they saw her and EC at the game?

Expect staged “happy family” photo-ops with EC kids and parents on Friday or over the weekend because nothing brings in viewers for a show that says it empowers women, than by setting up photo-op after photo-op of two homewreckers profitting from exploiting two innocent kids.
You have got to give it to NBC though, who knew that their friendship with LR and EC was so loyal that they would continue to destroy PBC by saturating the media and internet with everything that is EC and LR. If this show is about women’s empowerment, then how come we are seeing and hearing more from EC and LR, than we are of the actual female cast members? How exactly does saturing the internet with everything that is EC and LR empower women? Because PBC was never about empowering women, it was set up and designed as a vanity project for EC and LR, which is why LR is going to be on the show.

I know your face changes some as you grow older, but damn, what the hell happened to her face? I’m not a country music fan so I haven’t kept up with her over the years. Just happened to stumble across this story and couldn’t believe it was the same cute little girl that was in the Blue video from back in the day. Time has not been kind.
It is a testament to how awful Brandi Glanville is that not even this piece of work can make me sympathetic towards her. I mean, all I could think of when I watched her on RHoBH was, “Well, no wonder Eddie Cibrian left her for that praying mantis Leann Rimes.”
