About a month ago, skinny twits LeAnn Rimes and Giuliana Rancic were involved in a minor feud over LeAnn’s thinness that each of them predictably exploited for headlines. E! reporter Giuliana was asked by the Huffington Post, “What celebrity would you like to feed who you think is really skinny right now?” She answered Leann Rimes, explaining “She lost a lot of weight from all the stress in her life. She seems a little thin right now and I think she looks great when she’s a bit curvier.”
LeAnn of course was all over that, tweeting to Giuliana that they should go to dinner and then workout together, presumably to burn off any calories they might have consumed. (Really she did tweet that they should go to dinner, then workout in that order.)
Giuliana later backtracked , clarifying that she didn’t say Leann was “ugly skinny or that she needs to gain weight,” which isn’t exactly accurate, but whatever.
Well LeAnn and Giuliana went out for drinks together on Tuesday night, to Nobu in West Hollywood. Nobu is known for great Japanese food, which is generally very healthy and low calorie, but of course they skipped the meal and just had some liquids. They must not be at the stage yet where they’re ready to take turns holding each other’s hair back in the bathroom. (I know it’s terrible to joke about eating disorders, sorry.) LeAnn of course papped the occasion and then tweeted about it. LeAnn’s tweets about their night out sound kind of creepy stalkerish (she calls Giuliana “my sweets” twice) while Giuliana’s tweet back is normal-sounding.

Well good for them I guess. They both have stuff to promote and this outing earned some headlines without destroying any property that we know of. LeAnn will probably continue to bug Giuliana to hang out with her, Giuliana will be “busy” for weeks and it will take some time before LeAnn gets the message and backs off. LeAnn will have more to occupy her at home at least, since her TV actor husband is now unemployed again.

I dont know much about GR to know what she’s like but she has my sympathy for having to sit thru drinks and delusional convo with that wack job.

They probably are Supporting each other in not eating. This probably is a good friendship for them. They get to be seen hanging out and papped, and no one looks stupid or brings attention to food because they both will never be photographed eating. I am just flabbergasted that anyone would even want to be that thin. How is it that those women look in the mirror and see something they like. I know a lot of woman with body image issues look in the mirror and see something totally different than the rest of us so maybe thats it.
I also don’t understand why, after all of the negative press, that their weight gets, wouldn’t they maybe think hey maybe this person the public sees is not the same person who I see.

This whole drinks with GR is damage control, another attempt to convince people that LR is nice/sweet woman and not the nightmare that the tabloids(because according to LR and EC the tabloids are making up lies about them) make LR out to be. Do they really think that LR friendship with GR and E News will sway the public to like LR or have sympathy for her? I saw this coming when LR was being BFF with Ryan S girlfriend at fashion week.
Why did GR feel pressured to attend this meeting with LR? It had to have been because NBC bullied her and E News into being nice. Which seems to be happening a lot. Remember Showbiz Tonight use to call LR out all the time and then the next thing we know Lara Spencer was doing a GR and sucking up to LR and EC.
So what happens next? Are we going to see this meeting with LR or hear about on GR show? Or is this meeting gearing up for GR and her hubby to have a date night with LR and EC which will be featured on their show? What I find so funny is that LR is singing GR praises when she has expressed over and over her disgust for reality tv and the people who have them.

Just a quick question. Is number 32 really a flop for Leann? I mean, seriously, has she ever had an album that did top ten kind of numbers on the pop charts? Honestly, her only mega-hit that I can remember was “how do I live”. Oh, and maybe “Can’t fight the moonlight”. But, those songs happened more than a decade ago.
Considering that I thought she had just retired, or fallen off the face of the earth, before her whole homewrecking scandal I think number 32 sounds surprisingly good. Now that LR has gotten GR and E News to see THE TRUTH, she has moved on to her next mission. Use the very same “I couldn’t get out of bed after my divorce(despite the fact that there are a ton of photos showing her making out with EC at airports and on beaches and walking around LA gloating as she did househunting for her and EC), I married young, God ordained her marriage/affair with EC” campaign on the public. Yeap, she has released another one of her interviews whining about how hard HER divorce was for her, wasn’t that why GR disliked LR so much? Because LR was making herself out to be the victim and didn’t take considertion for what her and EC actions did to BG, EC kids, and DS? She has tried this several times before with the People mag, Shape, ABC, GAC, and Ellen interviews, now why does she think that things are going to be different or even sway the pblic to her side? Because NBC bullied GR and E News into being nice to LR?

Nope, you are not crazy at all. LR watches EVERYTHING that is being written about her and even is bold enough to attempt to fix whatever flaw that has been pointed out. It’s almost like a game. Like we pointed out that LR made EC go to fashion week with her because she is afraid that he will cheat on her. And then the very next day, out comes photos of EC out about NYC by himself.
I pointed out that perhaps LR is also losing weight because EC parents must not like her, and then two weeks later out come photos of LR and EC mother hugging to fix it.
I hear that LR was going to her friend’s wedding. Did EC “injure” himself just so that he could get out of attending it with LR?

They do look especially skeletal, I was shocked by GR’s pictures… I don’t watch the show, but how can she be so surprised that she’s unable to get pregnant when her body is so malnourished? (I thought Leann mentioned wanting to get pregnant too, but that may have just been for publicity or to irritate Brandi).
Leann’s connection to NBC is through Jerry B, the man who produced Coyote Ugly. LR lent her voice to that movie and LR has claimed to be very, very, very good friends with JB. JB produces such shows as CSI and Chase and many shows on CBS and NBC, both shows that EC landed roles on(It’s like LR bribed EC with a role on CSI to get him to keep cheating with her). For the other shows and networks(CMT/PBC/HGTV) that he doesn’t produce, I think he is calling in favors for LR.
If you look at the bottom of the Eonline site, guess what it says? That E News is a division of NBC Universal.
And guess what else is also a division of NBC Universal. HULU. I thought I heard that EC show was doing well on HULU.
EC landed a role in a Hallmark movie. The Hallmark channel and Hallmark Movie Channel also has connections to NBC. It’s operated by Crown Media Holdings, which licenses it’s brand to NBC Universal Global Networks for shows Britian. And how interesting that Hallmark Channel, who has ties to NBC, is doing a special tribute to LR on their network via a show hosted by Maya Angelou.
The producer for LR CMT movie worked on many shows for CBS and ABC, so I’m guessing that someone made some calls and as a favor LR appears in this movie.
The writer for Drop Dead Diva use to work as a writer on CSI. So we know that LR landed that guest role because someone called in a favor for her.
JB didn’t produce PBC, but I think that he pulled some strings, it’s why LR showed up to the audition with EC(which was documented with a photo-op and nice little fluff piece of how EC supposedly won over the producers).
I still can’t figure out how EC got the role in Tyler Perry movie. I know that EC appeared in a TD Jakes movie where he played the cheater/gigolo, so maybe this job with Tyler Perry came as a recommendation from TD Jakes, and makes Tyler Perry’s movie the only job that EC has gotten without LR help.
I don’t think that HGTV has ties to JB. HGTV is operated by Scripps Networks Interactive, and guess what other media brands it controls? Go back to LR GAC interview. So SNI operates GAC, which did an interview featuring LR and will soon be airing a new show on HGTV featuring LR.
As we can see, LR and EC have no problem getting jobs, it’s keeping these jobs that get the best of EC and LR each and everytime.
