Here are photos of Kelsey Grammer and his bride, Kayte Walsh, celebrating the premiere of Kelsey’s new Starz show, Boss. His daughter was there too – she’s Spencer Grammer, age 27 (28 this weekend), and she‘s pregnant. Kelsey is 56, Kayte is 29 years old (maybe 30 by now, but I can’t find her birthdate). So, his daughter and his wife are basically the same age, only separated by some-odd 12 months. No judgment? Or judge away?
It’s passé to mutter “No fool like an old fool.” But mutter away. I have to admit, Kelsey and Kayte look happy together. Kayte’s darkened her hair – she used to be varying shades of blonde and dirty-blonde, and now she’s gone reddish-brown. It makes her look younger, although the dye job looks budget. Kelsey is rich as hell – surely she could afford a proper colorist? Beyond my issue with her hair, she looks fit and happy, so good for her. It’s nice when a golddigger falls for her mark… or is a good enough actress to convince me.
Kelsey’s daughter is beautiful, right? Her eyes are hypnotizing. I’ve got to wonder what’s going through Spencer’s mind. Maybe she’s genuinely happy for her dad, especially after his marriage to Camille. After Camille, Kayte is probably a bed of roses.
About a week ago, Radar reported that Camille and Kelsey’s custody dispute – regarding their two sons – is still ongoing. Radar says that for a court date last week, Kelsey brought Kayte along with him, but she had to wait outside of the courtroom. During a break, Kelsey came out to make out with her. Because they’re so in love!

They do look happy and I hope they stay that way but Kelsey’s temporary mental retreat into his utopic snowglobe will probably vaporize in a year or two.
It looks really seedy. Sorry but I wouldn’t some old dude robbing my daughter of her youth. Using her to make himself feel vibrant. She’s not very attractive but neither is he. But still 29? What does that say about him? He’s got a dubious track record with women. Something just ain’t right there.

Having been down the young stepmother road, I’m going to assume Kelsey’s daughter does a lot of grinning and baring it. My former stepmom was 10 years older than me — she and my dad married when I was 16 — so not as close to my age as Kayte is to Spencer’s, but still close enough to make me cringe at my father’s stupidity and blindness.

Camille and Kelsey have a son and daughter together (Mason is their daughter),and not two sons. The last I read, Kelsey wanted to split the children up, take the son, and leave the daughter with Camille, which seems very asshole thing to do. I will say this about Camille, she is handling this whole divorce thing pretty well and hasn’t done a whole lot of mudslinggin’. I think she genuinely tries to stay out of the press. She still has crazy eyes, though.
I love Spencer, she was hilarious on Greek and I hope she gets another job soon (after she has a happy healthy baby of course!)

I don’t usually like to harp on looks, but she is one unattractive female. I mean if you’re going to give away half your fortune again on some young number at least find one that’s better looking than you’re plastic, dragon looking ex.
Maybe he’s just blinded by blonde and age? Because I can’t imagine why any man would give away $50m to hook up with (and then marry) her. She must have a really great personality?
It looks budget. Actually Camille looks great now. I think Kelsey is an asshole and I’m not a fan of Kayte’s either. Camille has gained my sympathies and especially now after Kelsey had attempted to split up the two children. Jerk.
I saw them (Kayte and her Old Man)this summer at Whole foods and what stood out to met was not only was she far prettier in person than in pictures, BUT she genuinely seemed really into him. She was loving and playful with Kelsey and really didn’t seem to be attempting to draw attention to them which, even the slightest famewhores would have. I dont know Camille, but she seems sort of cold on RHOBH and maybe they were just both really unhappy and the move to New York only made that more evident. Kelsey does seem to have a bit of the madonna/whore complex, perhaps after the later (he has dated numerous strippers, porn stars and bunnies) he found his madonna
I hate to say it but it doesn’t matter what’s going on with the hair – that’s the least of this girl’s problems.

1. New wife is home-ly. Ugh. But he seems like a complete douche so he’s lucky to have her I guess.
2. Looks like a whole lot of fake smiles all around. I’m uncomfortable just looking at the pics.

i’m with skuddles. that new wife is not much of a looker. not that i think looks should be the most important thing in a relationship but to leave your wife and mother of your children for a new, younger model, you’d think that kelsey would have found one that was better looking

Spencer & Camille didn’t have a close relationship, according to what I’ve read at another website. Spencer has lived with her dad & Kayte while she went to college in NY before she married, which is what Kelsey said on the David Letterman show some time ago. So, maybe Spencer has a better relationship with Kayte than she did with Camille.

As others have already mentioned, Kelsey and Camille have a son and a daughter. What I thought was unbelievable was that Kelsey only wanted custody of his son. Camille went public with this and Kelsey denied her claims, but some site — TMZ maybe? — found the court papers and it turned out to be true.
His youngest daughter is going to be crushed once she’s old enough to understand that her dad was prepared to completely walk away from her.
Camille insisted he get partial custody of both kids, but just the other day htere was an article where he couldn’t be bothered to go to his daughter’s dance recital because he knew that Camille would also be attending. Talk about a lame excuse.
I’ve never liked the way Kelsey routinely cheats on his latest blonde with a younger model, who then in turn becomes the latest blonde. (Kayte was blonde when they first hooked up.) But it wasn’t until I realized what a crappy father he was that I lost all respect for the man.
Daughter is stunning…the wife is lucky.
This whole series of pictures just really brings it home to me how clueless and sad men can be. I don’t fell that Kelsey looks “akk there”, and that saddens me. He has maybe some emotional health issues, and poor Kayte has a long row to hoe.

Oh, for crying out loud. Why the hate directed at Kayte? Super mean, super critical and petty. So petty. Some of you must be having really bad days or something. Kayte looks nice and do you honestly think she went “budget” on anything? The shoes fit. I doubt she’s being disallowed money. Her hair was pretty before too so I am sure she could have afforded a nice cut and color on her own dime. She’s lost some weight (though I thought it was nice she just looked “normal” to begin with), she always has a smile on her face, and let’s face it, she did marry into a massive heap of complications. Kelsey Grammer, by all accounts added up, may be a very unusual / strange guy. But he’s also hilarious, creative, and maybe just right for her. Age difference, who cares. But I really love his work and she looks sweet. I can’t speak to any of the other stuff.
I’m sort of amazed at the old fashioned comments about the age difference. Who cares? You’d think women of a certain age would understand that age doesn’t guarantee maturity and vice versa. Age is usually meaningless.
What matters is how they treat each other. I have to laugh at the mother hating to think some old man was stealing her daughter’s youth. A man who can give you the world versus some young guy with nothing and little experience in life – no contest. It’s not like the wife is sitting home changing his diapers.
The wife seems young and vibrant and attractive. Camille was and is pretty much a low rent dog who also seems like she’s be a royal pain the butt. I always though she treated Kelsey like dirt. Now that we know they had sex something like 14 times in ten years or 10 times in 14 years, it’s pretty obvious to me she was never interested in him as a husband. She got hers and now she should be grateful and shut up. She is insisting on Kelsey have shared custody because I think she wants to be free now and then.

I saw this on TV live. Her hair color is actually very pretty and flattering under the lighting as she walked. She talked briefly. She has a really pretty British accent. She’s much prettier in person than most of her still photographs. She has a beautiful smile. She seems very unpretentious. Not dripping in jewels since marrying a rich guy. I like her simple style. And I love that she isn’t wearing full-on blonde extensions like all the Beverly Hills wives. Kayte seems comfortable in her look and stays true to it. Cute girl.

I can’t understand such a relationship … I’ve posted the same before on any coupling where there is such an age difference man or woman. It makes no sense in my head but more power to them. She is of legal age, almost 30, and if she wants to do him than it’s none of my business.
I think Kate is purdy. Larger noses cast shadows in photographs; that’s why someone like her looks better in person. Really though!
Anyway, they seem happy together, but who knows. He looked pretty happy w/ Camille back in the day, plus he’s an actor…plus its easy to be happy when you’ve only been with someone for < 2 years.

I think Relli is probably right; I have always suspected that Kayte is probably really cute in person (but not that photogenic).
I always LOVED her hair and skin color combo. She is lucky to have that pretty tan colored skin and the blonde really “popped” on her, so I don’t love this look.
It is obvious that Kelsey just wants a cute, normal girl. Camille is very barbie doll, and Kayte is not perfect (larger nose and slight belly…no apparent plastic surgery), and she seems a bit anti-Camille to me, which likely appeals to Kelsey.
With all of that said, I think it is WAYYYY crappy what Kelsey (and Kayte) did to Camille. Very disrespectful to say she was Mrs. Grammer prior to them being divorced (apparently Camille showed up to the NY apt and said she was Mrs. Grammer and Camille had to show them ID b/c Kayte was known as the Mrs. She should have just said she was Kayte so as to not humiliate Camille that way, IMO).
It is also really disgusting that Kelsey tried to get custody of his son ONLY (ignoring his daughter). Bad dad. BAD. Really no excuse for that behavior.

All commentary accross all media regarding their age difference is so de ja vu. Where we not here ten years ago with Michael Dougla and Catherine Zeta jones? I still remember the grandpa jokes on will and Grace about them, and those were the kinder ones. MD is 25 years older than CZJ, and they married when she was 29/30.
Let’s revisit this in ten years. if they aren’t together, then we can all snark on the age thing like we are doing to demi and ashton.
Personally, never having seen his behaviour in the honeymoon phase with his other wives, i can’t help but cheer for this relationship only because they have such goofy happy smiles all the time. I am a sucker for happy goofy romance, what can i say!
