Here’s the thing: a lot of you just think that Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian are play-fighting for the cameras, for the story line, for the joy of being famewhores. I’m not saying you’re wrong – you’re probably right, actually. But I also think there’s a grain of truth in all of these rumors that Kris and Kim kind of hate each other already. After all, Kim just married the giant dumbass because she wanted to get married, and she didn’t care who was asking. Plus, I think even Kim was surprised at just how douchey Kris Humphries really is, and just how much everybody hates him. So is it any surprise that it seems like Kris is already “moving out”?
Is it over? Kris Humphries leaves his and Kim Kardashian’s Manhattan hotel clutching boxes and wearing no wedding ring, amid reports of trouble in their marriage. Today is Kim’s 31st birthday, and Kris was seen moving out with boxes and bags late yesterday afternoon while speculation swirled about their two-month marriage.
But sources told us the couple looked happy Wednesday night over dinner at STK and left holding hands. Kim is expected to jet to Vegas to celebrate her birthday at Marquee tomorrow night. Hopefully Kris will be at her side.
A source added, “The show [“Kourtney & Kim Take New York”] is wrapping, so they all have been packing up. Kris is headed to Vegas with Kim for her birthday weekend.” Kim’s rep declined to comment.

Now that I’ve gotten a chance to read through this week’s tabloids, it definitely seems like SOMEONE is pushing these breakup stories, because they are absolutely everywhere. One of my favorite anonymously-attributed quotes is from Star Mag – the source says, “Her friends saw the red flags early on in their relationship, but Kim thought that when they were married all their problems would disappear. Kim is finnaly starting to see just how two-faced Kris really is. He plays up the loving husband act for the cameras, but in reality he’s moody and distant.” I love the idea that Kim thought marriage was a magic wand that fixed every relationship problem. It’s like she’s 11 years old.

As much as Kim is now respected in the industry and scoring magazine covers Paris Hilton would only dream of doing, it was very hard for her to find a man to take her seriously. Reggie’s family reportedly could never get past the sex tape, so there’s that. Kris was just a dumb buffoon who didn’t care, but it turns out he has his own issues.
IF there is any truth to these rumors/leaks then my thoughts are as follows….
Wasn’t he this way BEFORE they were even engaged? I thought they were horribly mismatched and wouldn’t go through with wedding since the episodes where he went on the anniversary/vacation to Bora Bora and made it clear that he disliked shallowness, frivolity and materialism but somehow managed to be enthralled with Kim.
Up to this point I’d say that they both jumped into this with their eyes wide open but I’m starting to wonder if either Kris held back, Kim truly didn’t look ahead at the big picture and they both had unrealistic expectations.
While his disregard for extravagance was no secret maybe the way he stuck with Kim was misleading her to think that’s what he said but clearly he didn’t feel or equate her with the level he disdained. Perhaps he really thought that away from her family she’d be different and maybe earlier on when she wasn’t with them she was and he would be the one to keep her in line (would explain a lot of his surprise and revelations in Bora Bora). Now after marriage they both realize either its worse than they thought. He’s now both talking about and treating her with disdain and he’s realizing her neurotic, shallowness is the only going that’s deep about her and the depths are something he is powerless to save her from. Both could be unhappily disillusioned at this point.
I just don’t understand how neither of them caught on or showed their true natures in a way the other grasped while they were living together. I hate how every outlet makes it seem as if HE is the problem. But if it played out anything like this that actually makes sense to me. it’s like he’s given up on a lost cause and she’s frustrated he’s not trying. Although something bothers me about Khloe not liking him. I don’t know if that’s still the case or if it’s still being played out but that’d make me hesitate to pity him. It could be like bia said above and maybe he was playacting at being in love and didnt care because he has his own issues. (question thouhh is, with a good prenup what does he gain from that?) Like it or not Khloe and Bruce are the only ones in touch with reality in this klan and Khloe is the only one who has enough gumption, energy and pride to speak out or stand up against kraziness. Nonetheless, Kim needs to stop playing (i hope thats what she’s doing) like she is shocked people can be so different after the altar, believed marriage could fix problems and character flaws that were evident before marriage and that marriage is some eternally, blissful state that requires no work or effort and is conflict and hurdle-free. We all know she’s been there and done that. IF these latest reports are true then Kris is a dimwit with all the information out there on this family available to him even before he went on a first date and Kim is without a doubt (and ironically) simple.

I don’t believe Kim K. is 31, I could have sworn that she said she was 13 when her mother married Bruce Jenner and that was 20 years ago, so that would make 33. Not much of a jump but still a jump. Now as far as this marriage goes, she got married because people are getting bored with her, she acted as if this was her first marriage and for many people it was. This family is masters at pretending to be something they just are not. They simply are making money now because Kris Jenner by her own admission thought that her family was every bit as interesting as the Hiltons and sold Ryan Seacrest on that and the rest is history. The sex tape paid off for the whole family so they should all be on their knees thanking Kim for that. I saw the wedding and if you noticed when Kris asked her if she was going to take on his last name of course she said yes at first but her dumbass had to listen to her mother and changed her mind and that the Kardashian last name is her brand name and that she shouldn’t change her last name.. Hump is not a douche. He’s actually pretty humble and a low key guy, generally. He played for my Raptors and was known as one of the nicest guys on the team during his time here.
Also, there’s no way he thought he could make any good money off his marriage. He’s a middle of the pack player who just became above average and will make a nice chunk of change once the NBA season comes back and he gets a new contract. Even his old yearly salary (3.2 million a year the past 3 years) probably brought in a lot more than he’ll make during the marriage, since I’m sure the Kardashians make almost all of it when it comes to him and Kim.

Kim is invariably dressed unflatteringly. I think it’s kind of a problem that the celebs that we actively characterize as “curvy” and really attractive that comes to can’t dress their bodies. Christina Hendricks is the other one I’m thinking of. There are some people who can dress themselves that I consider to be curvy, like Kate Winslet and Scarlett Johansson, but the media doesn’t really identify them as such.
Is it just that modern fashion and clothing cuts are not favorable for hourglass figures? Back in the 50’s and before (pre-Twiggy, basically) curvy was pretty much par for the course for female celebs – it might be to do with the clothes that they were wearing. There’s the oft-cited fact that if Marilyn was buying pants today, she’d be a 12/14 (although that stat is old so it may be she’d be like an 8 now, but still.). The rise of some curvier celebs should be bucking this trend, but it isn’t.
