Comic book icon Stan Lee thinks the perfect subjects for his newest comic book superheroes are a couple who already have super powers of their own. David Beckham is a superman on the soccer field, at least he was at one time, and Victoria has super balance powers in some of the most precarious high heels known to man. But Lee has more traditional super powers in mind, and an animated show to show them off.

“They’re great looking, talented and colorful. Now, here’s the exciting part, just imagine how cool they’d be in a humorous, good-natured show that depicts them as, you guessed it—superheroes,” Lee told Access Hollywood.

Stan Lee is the creator of such timeless comic book superheroes as Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men and Iron Man, as well as the questionable Striperella for Pam Anderson. I saw one episode of Stripperella when it was on Spike TV, it wasn’t so bad I wanted to shoot my TV, but I did only watch it once!

I keep trying to picture the Beckham show and I can’t get anything other than a Saturday morning cartoon to materialize. David’s voice, and Victoria’s vocabulary are already close to cartoonish, and would work well in a Scooby-Doo type environment opposed to an Incredible Hulk type environment. But I do think that Posh and Becks should do the voices. It’s not exactly acting, so David could keep his word, and Victoria wouldn’t have to smile because the camera wouldn’t be on her.
