The more I see Amber Heard, the more impressed I am with her style skills. Either this girl has a righteous stylist, or Amber just has an other-worldly sense of what works on her body. I’m not saying that Amber is super-fashion forward, or that I want what she’s wearing. I’m saying that I wish I looked like her so I could dress like her. Her body is AMAZING. And the clothes she wears only accentuate and emphasize how crazy that body is. The face is… well, she’s giving me ScarJo vibes lately. Remember when Scarlett went too blonde for a while? Amber is doing that.
Anyway, these are photos of The Rum Diary UK premiere in London last night. Amber wore this shiny Alessandra Rich that could have easily looked cheap, but it’s tailored perfectly and her insane body makes the dress really, really work. She’s so sexy. I don’t know how popular this movie is going to be, but I hope Amber’s career is all uphill from here. I don’t even know if she can act. I just want her to go far so she’ll keep getting invited to red carpets.
I’m also including photos of Eva Green, who was at the premiere because…? I don‘t know, maybe she‘s friends with Johnny Depp. I haven’t written about Eva since that post about how I prefer to write about Eva so much more than the Kardashians. It’s still true, but all of you Kardash-haters out there just have to realize that this week was an anomaly for the excessive Kardashian coverage, because of Kim’s divorce. And no one is forcing you to read and comment on the Kardashian posts anyway! If you feel that strongly about it, take the effort to read and comment about other people, and soon the Kardashians will be phased out, you know? Here’s hoping. As for Eva, I love her beautiful face, and she’s got a killer body too. I’m not in love with the dress, though. I hate when skirts have those dual slits in front – it’s totally car wash to me. I like Eva’s leopard-print shoes, though.

I am mad at Eva ! She is intrinsically absolutely gorgeous. Her sister and her were growing gorgeous gals. But for some reasons she tends to downplay her natural sexiness and has always put on weird clothes, too heavy make up, absolute horrible hairstyle. 9 times out of 10 it’s the same mistakes.
She is one of the least well dressed of all french stars who usually get it right.
Call me crazy but i beleive she missed the chance of becoming bigger after ‘Casino Royal’ cause she never took care of her image.
She could have been at Marion’s place right now if she had made an effort to advertise herself with a more cleaner, sophisticated sexiest look a la european.

Yuck to both of them. Amber’s dress looks cheap and Eva is dressed as a vampire. (Ooh, I’d love to see her on True Blood.) Both women are beautiful and could do better.
She doesn’t do much in The Rum Diary to know if she can act. She has potential though. I would say she has a January Jones vibe…she pops on screen, her face was a built for it.
I say Amber Heard!! I hope her career gets better after this movie. She has been doing the promotional red carpets beautifully. I would like to see more of her and ERW and less of ScarJo. They seem to have better personalities and are more consistent with their looks.
Eva, it will always be Eva for me since I saw “The Dreamers” a couple of years ago. She is an individual among generic Hollywood women. She has something mysterious, I’m only interested in her acting and films. When I see her, I don’t know who she dated etc…she is her character and I totally get lost in it. I can’t do that for instance with ScarJo. I know too much about her to detach myself from her public image and antics.

Amber Heard is insanely gorgeous! I think her career could be bigger but she keeps getting the short end of the stick. Playboy got canceled really fast but that had more to do with the Eddie guy than her. Rum diary is supposed to be Depp’s greatest flop… I really hope she continues getting parts because she’s a decent actress.
Amber Heard. She always pops, she’s very beautiful, and you’re right, she knows how to dress herself. I hope she succeeds in Hollywood, we need more of this.
Eva Green on the other hand… I don’t get the love. I dislike her face, I don’t find her pretty at all. Her eyes and eyebrows are strange and the eyebrows are too close to the eyes. She has no sense of style, and always puts together completely overdramatic ensembles. The makeup, the skin, the dresses… always too much. Although she aims at elegance, she lacks that grace which to me makes true elegance.
Also she’s the daughter of this woman who used to do the readings for the fairytale books I had when I was a child (I grew up in France). I always found it so strange how this lady’s daughter became an actress. As for acting, I think her mother did a better job in those children’s books… I absolutely hated her in James Bond.

Before doing children books Marlene Jobert, her mother was a very popular french actress.
She often plays ingenues in comedies with her cute childlike innocent face. She began those children book when she decided to retire from acting when she got pregnant at 38, wanting to raise her twins daughters in privacy in the countryside and not in Paris.
We saw her children for the first time when they were like 15 or 16. I thought that Eva would have turned to modelling as she was growing up having that lanky look as she inhereted the height of her swedish father.
I think Eva had a natural sexiness while her twin sister was the beautiful one and was curvier but if my memory serve me well was into animals and nature more than into an artistic career.
can I say something here? Both seem pretty meh. The dresses seem just as vanilla as them. Lets hope for more interesting stuff from these ladies later on.

Amber Heard looks incredible and definitely has what I would call a “perfect” female body. I normally don’t find blondes as attractive as brunettes but in this case I am swayed. I absolutely love Eva Green and think she is darn near perfect as well. However in this instance and in the past as well, she is not flattering on the red carpet. I do LOVE her shoes but the rest has to go. I sure hope she finds a better stylist for future events.
I also think that Eva should go back to her natural hair color or go more redheaded or for a light brown shade. She is a natural red head/chestnut blonde.
This dramatic very dark hair color on her very pale skin coupled with very harsh dramatic make-up (eyes & lips) doesn’t do her justice and ages her.
Her natural hair color suits her more, brings out her freckles and makes her look softer naturally looking.

But I still dislike her daughter. I always find it a bit suspicious when actors’ or directors’ relatives become actors too… You can tell they got helped and they definitely loose my sympathy. Often they are not particularly talented, like Eva Green, Rumer Willis or Emma Roberts.
The exception would be Elizabeth Olsen. She seems to have built up from nothing and I really admire that when she could have taken the easy way out.

Eva is a naturally beautiful woman but she looks terrible here. Did she even look in a mirror? Beauty is no excuse for terrible styling, even in France where they like to pretend they are beyond such stuff (I love French style, by the way, but Eva looks horrible here).

I think Amber is a great actress. She beat out all sorts of A listers for the Rum Diary. Scarlett and Natalie Portman auditioned…but Amber won the part. She is super gorgeous, and I have liked her laid back attitude in the interviews I have seen her in. She is going to be a HUGE star.

Kaiser, this girl has the goods. She’s not a deep voiced mumbler like Scarlett. Amber is also absolutely gorgeous and, you’re right, the figure is phenomenal. I also love that she’s ‘out’ and proud and has a great career.

i think amber has an interesting face. i too hope she dumps the extreme blonde thing-it washes her out. she was in a very short-lived tv show (Hidden Palms, i think) and she had brown curly hair-so lovely. it was an awful series. then, she wore a horrific black wig in a comedic film called The Ex-Terminators. she sort of over acted in that movie, puffing on cigarettes madly, etc., but she was funny nevertheless. she’s not afraid to swing out there. i’ll try to see the Rum Diaries. i am hoping i like it. i usually avoid Johnny’s vanity projects-can’t say i’m a fan of his particular obsession with that Journalist guy… Hunter Thompson…
Eva is so much more interesting. Can’t fault Amber at all, but everything about her here screams Sharon Stone – everything is right, nothing is wrong, it’s all so tastefully “sexy” but so bleakly forgettable. She lacks a wicked streak.
Eva gets it so wrong, and then she gets it so right, and you always remember her. Shocking and cartoon villainesque in Dior, stunning & louche in Antonio Berardi. She looks like she has fun with her clothes, and she looks like she doesn’t cry herself to sleep at night if someone puts her on a worst-dressed list. I bet she lives a fun life. And she’s a bombshell through and through.
Amber is HOT in her own way but I find myself more allured (if not seduced) by Eva! Plus she seems to be the more interesting one of the two, and if I had the opportunity to date either, I’d go for Eva easily! 🙂
