I think I’m becoming a gossip medium. Just yesterday, I was lamenting the boringness of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and saying how much I missed good ol’ Bleo (Blake and Leo DiCaprio). Bleo was fun. Bleo was crazy. Bleo kept me on my toes. Blyan is so dull and gerbily. They’ve only been going out for a month (allegedly), and already they’re shacking up with their dogs like an old married couple. Where’s the spark? Where’s the magic? Anyway, my gossip medium-ing. Star Magazine has a fascinating report that I’m praying came straight from Blake’s publicist. Blake has a great publicist, and if this report was in Us Weekly, I would love it more, but I’m so happy for any Bleo news, I’ll take this: Blake and Leo are still talking. And Blake would still be Leo’s girl if he wanted her. YAY!
Blake Lively may be hot and heavy with new man Ryan Reynolds, but a source tells Star that the Gossip Girl actress is still in contact with her ex Leonardo DiCaprio.
“Despite their active dating lives, Blake and Leo are still very much in touch,” reveals an insider. Indeed, the pretty pair moved on quickly after their four-month summer fling went kaput at the beginning of October – Blake, 24, took up with hunky Ryan, 35, while Leo, 37, has been romancing three sexy models while filming The Great Gatsby Down Under.
But according to the insider, “They talk on the phone and e-mail regularly.” and despite her burgeoning romance with Ryan, “Blake is still carrying a torch for Leo,” says the source. “She’d drop Ryan in a heartbeat if and when Leo said, ‘Let’s get back together.’ Ryan’s bound to get his heart broken!”

See, I suspect that this isn’t a plant by Blake’s publicist because it makes Blake look like she might still be hung up on Leo, which isn’t the image Blake wants to project right now. But then again, how did she get Leo to begin with? By hanging out, by waiting, by biding her time, by playing the game really well and letting him see that she was available for whatever he wanted. And it worked, for a summer. So… I’ll buy this. Why not? I want Blake to go running back to Leo. Gerbil-face versus Rat-face: to the victor go the spoils. That’s it. We’re calling Blake “The Spoils” from now on.

If there’s any truth to it I suspect that Leo may be as interested in a continued romance with Blake. Sometimes things just click with another person and feel right but still things can get in the way.

I think people like “Bleo” because that means he can get played and he can fall in love with an actress. Anything is better than a model and Blake is the example that if you have enough “game” or whatever that means, you can snatch a man that’s emotionally unavaible. Too bad it’s all bullshit. Leo DiCaprio will never be able to ditch his carb face if he takes back up with Boobs- she’s a big baker and likes to ply her men with homemade treats. He already looks like the Pillsbury doughboy In J.Edger.
It’s true because STAR said so! Yeah, this isn’t happening. I must have been the only one to be severely underwhelmed by Blake and Leo. Severely. I don’t get all the jizz for that pairing.

I really think that Bleo’s dynamic was the opposite of this article. I do think she dumped him. I think she got him in the first place by NOT being available.

This is Leo the modelizer man-child. Leo has it easy. And not just with one woman. Its easy for him with all the models. Availability is meaningless when every other beautiful woman in the world is also available.
What did Blake have that they don’t? A personality. She seems very fun-loving, but obviously she had some strategy going on. Smart girl. Ambitious girl. She wasn’t willing to be his doormat. That’s why they aren’t together.

__she did her “game”, self assured that it would work splendidly even with an out-of-her-reach A-lister.
__Leo knew about her history with Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Garner knew as well, so Leo figured he could get some fun for a summer while helping his buddy get out of his wife’s doghouse. In which manner? Why, by putting on Jennifer’s new brilliant plan, the “Romance Scheme” (total girl-crush, I love you Jennifer!).
__Summer’s on. Time for romancing Blake, convincing her that her game is working, letting her believe she’ll even get a rock (gasp!).
__Summer’s over. Time for dumping Blake publicly and humiliatingly.
__Fall’s here. Blake figures out Blennifer’s game (Ben-Leo-Jennifer). She also figures that she ought to sleep around a bit so she does not look like just some pathetic, dumped, orange, two-cents-worth starlet. Also, she figures that if she gets with Ryan people will think those naked pics were for him. Smarty Blake!

It must make Blake quite insecure to know that all Leo does in his spare time is hook up with Victoria’s secret models, who pretty much come panting to him when he clicks his fingers.
I don`t know why it`s so hard for people to think that maybe she dumped him. It could have gone either way, sure Leo has money and connections that any actress would love to have but if said actress is not in need Leo is no catch(I mean look at his bloated face). In my opinion when Leo got Down Under he was still doing his super old modelizer thing and Blake told him that she wanted something exclusive, he couldn`t do it because that`s not his thing so she said no thanks. Don’t buy this. I think Blake and Leo were more PR than anything. She’d be foolish to go for a narcissistic philandering dog vs. a guy with a sense of humor who knows how to commit. Lainey has said Ryan was the prize all along, and that rings true.
Might be good for Ryan to know there are other options and she’s still in touch with Leo, will keep him on his toes.
I fully believe Leo is way smarter and more interesting than Blake, and I fully believe he dumped her ass because he lost interest. And I would definitely believe she’s still pining for him- I think he’s smarter, more talented (obviously), and has way more pull in this industry than Ryan Reynolds ever has or will. However, I do not believe Leo has any interest in hooking up with her ever again.

Exactly. I think the model stories were Leo’s PR cause he looked cuckolded by Ryan. Leo’s the MAN in Hollywood, so of course he’s boning the “down-undas” of not one, not two, but three Aussies.

Hmmm, I believe Blake got dumped and rebounded very well. I also believe that Leo stays in touch and if he wanted her back, she’d go. I’m not sure Leo will ever marry and, I think, that after the Scarjo split Reynolds isn’t in a hurry to marry again either. In short, Blake will be playing this game for awhile ’cause neither candidate is going marry her…which, you know, it’s fun to watch her and speculate about her next guy. BTW, I don’t think Blake wants to marry either…unless it was Leo. Otherwise, she’ll be out there enjoying her life. Can’t hate that!
