Forever Fassdong 🙂 Also, has anyone seen “Shame” ? I’ve been dying to see the film, and it’s not even out on limited release anymore!
I saw it — it’s a great cathartic movie and his acting in it is among the best performances of this year — all the accolades he’s been getting are largely warranted. A guy sitting 2 rows in front of me was sobbing like a baby by the end!
The last week in January the artsy theater near me will be playing both Dangerous Method and Shame.
Just saw it last week. His role is one of the stronger performances to date and really speaks to his versatility as an actor. I love how he was able to extract such pathos from a character that was buckling under his own repression. He doesn’t evince a lot on the surface, but there’s this dam about to break underneath. Steve McQueen is a director to watch.

I didn’t know this til recently, because I didn’t know who The Fassdong dated before Zoe Kravitz, but he has a type – light skinned black chicks. That made my mild crush from afar turn into full blown lady boner. I’m in there like swimwear. Let the stalking begin.
I wonder if I’m dark enough for him. I’m half black, and am as light as a snowflake with a slight tan. If you looked at me, you wouldn’t be able to tell that I’m black, except for my hair. I don’t know why I always find it funny, when a white actor says that he prefers black women…….he’s now a young Robert De Niro.
You probably find it funny because there are some who are perhaps quite interested but are not going to admit it. Yeah, I’m looking at you Justin Timberlake.

I have to admit, I don’t see what all the fuss is about him physically because I think he is average at best. But I really want to see the new Steve McQueen film he’s in “Shame” with Necole Beharie, I saw clips and the trailer and it looks very excellent and intriguing, I may go see it Christmas Evening:-)

I really don’t see what the fuss is about this guy either. Maybe if he would grow his hair a little or something. I did see the movie “Shame”. It was an interesting portrayal of a sex addict. Kind of a strange movie. Carey Mullis was good in it. Mele kalikimaka!

I couldn’t post yesterday, but want to wish Kaiser, Bedhead, and Celebitchy a very Merry christmas and happy new year.
I really enjoy this site even when I don’t agree with a post here and there. i also enjoy this site because of the level of civility in the comments section. The posters here may not all agree on everything, but for most of the regulars there is mutual respect even when opining from opposite ends of viewpoint.

He was soooo good in Jane Eyre, and very hot, too. Definitely looks really good w/ longer hair, but he’s adorable either way. ‘Shame’ was definitely a different kind of movie, but the acting was really good.

Arguably, he’s not handsome in conventional, perfectionistic sense. But he’s got a visceral sensuality that makes your panties wanna drop.
I also suggest that you watch him on screen. I feel that sometimes he reads a bit flat in stills, but he’s got this panther-like magnetism when he moves. He comes off better when he moves.
He’s increbibly smug and self satisfied, and he isn’t very attractive at all.
