Pink and her ex-husband Carey Hart have had such an amicable divorce, despite her So What? video, that I can’t help but wonder why they couldn’t work things out. Here’s an insight.
The pop star blames her awful turkey day memories on the tequila she knocked back with friends before lunch.
She tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood, “I ended up with 13 stitches in my hand, the food was all over the floor.
“We decided between six of us to drink three bottles of Patron before 11am, and when somebody was saying grace, I decided that the sweet potatoes should be on my father-in-law’s head, so I dumped the bowl on his head.
“I ended up in the pool, and I almost had a heart attack and then I was chopping ice and I cut my hand open, had to go to the ER but I couldn’t feel a thing; it was fascinating actually – when you’re that drunk and you can just watch the stitches happening.
“And then I set my bedroom on fire because we (Pink and ex-husband Carey Hart) went upstairs to have a quickie (sex) and I left a cigarette in the oven mitt.”
Pink is hoping the upcoming Thanksgiving break, at the end of November (08), is a lot less eventful.
I’d love to be a fly on the wall at that Thanksgiving dinner, although perhaps not actually attending the event. I’m sure that all of us can relate at least one family gathering that has degenerated. A friend of mine who is a family counselor says that she is booked solid all through the holiday season, due to stress from families who aren’t close but want/feel obligated to get together at this time of year.
As far as Pink’s ex husband goes, Carey Hart says he’ll be staying single for some time to come. Not out of any love for his former misses, but because “I don’t need any headaches from the opposite sex.”
This isn’t the first physical confrontation that Pink has gotten into – recently she was interviewed by New Zealand media and described tequila as being her ‘fighting drink’ but that it can sometimes be good to let out what she’s feeling. I’m not sure what her father-in-law, the man who got to wear the potatoes, thinks about that.

yeah, i am so tired about hearing about all her dysfunction…give it a rest, no one cares anymore.
Stunningly beautiful, incredible voice —– but when she talks — she is so trashy.
Seems to me that Pink just had a hard child hood, like myself!!! She’s been thrashing for years!!! Me on the other hand have done some therapy and I’m pretty chill these days. Yeah I still raise hell vocally, but dumping food on someone’s head is not something I would do. Of course unless they deserved it!!
