Lindsay Lohan has officially decreed that she is not a lesbian. But she might be a bisexual. Maybe. Lindsay is so weird about her relationship with Samantha Ronson. She’s unnecessarily coy and it just doesn’t work for her. She’ll say things like, “Everyone knows who I’m dating,” and then refuse to say it’s Samantha. What the hell is the point of that?
A coy Lindsay Lohan insists that she isn’t a lesbian and barely cops to being bisexual – but admits that she’s dating a “wonderful” woman with whom she’s madly in love, according to a new interview with the starlet. “I think it’s pretty obvious who I’m seeing,” Lohan told Harper’s Bazaar magazine. Nonetheless, she pointedly refused to name her lady love, LA DJ Samantha Ronson. When asked if she considered herself a bisexual, Lohan answered, “Maybe. Yeah.” But she was adamant that she wasn’t a lesbian, giving an emphatic, “No,” when asked.

Lindsay has been linked to so many guys that it’s hard to imagine her being totally faithful to Samantha. She seems really unsure about her sexual orientation. She’s not identifying herself as a lesbian and seems kind of reticent to even say she’s bisexual. The reporter suggests it and she responds with, “Maybe.” I wonder if she and Samantha have an open relationship or something, since Lindsay seems so unwilling to actually say or do anything that would rule out men. But it could just as easily be that labels don’t matter to LiLo, she figures she’s happy – so who cares? Something tells me it’s about attention and gossip more than anything though.

Even though I doubt it would – producers looking to insure Lohan for a film would probably like Sam to be on set. Lohan behaves better when Sam’s around.

I think the light is hitting her nose in a strange way – I definitely see what you’re saying!
I also think that it’s possible to fall in love with a person regardless of sex, which is probably why she doesn’t feel the need to define her sexual orientation. When you fall in love, you fall in love.
I have a friend who is definitely not gay, but dated a woman. They fell in and out of love like any other couple; she has dated only men since, but not because they were men – it’s about the souls, not the bodies.
Some people just don’t fall into the category of 100 percent gay or 100 percent straight.
A female friend of mine started out straight and after experimentation in her 20s, decided she preferred being with women. I also know a male coworker who was living as a gay man who broke up with his boyfriend, married a woman and had kids. They have been together over 20 years. He still buys his wife’s clothes, though.
She’s probably bisexual, just confused about her feelings. She just doesn’t want to rule out men completely. She’s obviously not THAT embarrassed about Samantha though, they’re seen every where together.
Boring – her career’s a mess and she needs publicity. If she’s happy then great. I just don’t see how this is interesting or anyone else’s business. Guess that’s all she has left to sell.

I am guessing meth is involved between her and Sam. Sam is VERY skinny – looks like she does meth to me. And, since Lindsay has been hanging around her she has lost tons of weight.

She thinks she is being cool “dating a woman” or it will up her chances w/ men or Career(because she thinks she it’s HOT) you are either one of three – Lesbian Gay or BI. Read the interview in the Harpers Bazaar site she said on being Bisexual that maybe,yeah she is.And her answers were very clear about Samantha.She is afraid that she will jinxe the whole thing.Also the reporter says that after very much pressure she answered,but she was very clear about Samantha and they are a couple saying its so obvious and its been a long time now.I liked her answers she seems very mature.She doesnt want to label herself cause she doesnt know what will happen in the future.To say she is a lesbian now,and then the press to cut her in pieces if she dates a man in a few years,she has already dated so many men she cant say she is a lesbian.I believe this is her best interview by far.She talked about the drugs,blamed no one else butherself.She sounds realy changed.Who knows. 😳

While I agree she is getting SUPER skinny, her skin and teeth still look flawless – aside from her skin being bright orange. Terrible skin problems and rotting teeth are so typical of meth, I think you’d see other signs.
She & Samantha probably just consist on a diet of cigarettes and Starbucks.

I don’t really care about Lindsay’s sexual orientation, but it occurs to me that some of her comments could be very offensive to her lover, Sam.
And Sam, btw, is naturally thin – take a look at her sister, so I wouldn’t read too mch into that fact.
just to make a point, bisexual does not mean confused. if you read the entire article (online at harper’s bazaar) she specifically says that she chooses not to label herself but feels lucky that she is able to love the person and not their gender. to me, that does not sound confused at all. it sounds like she’s openly bisexual but maybe not a fan of the label.
as a member of the younger queer generation, i’ve seen how labels have changed and people are less inclined to box themselves in. i think it’s a positive thing in general. i suppose it could be seen as detrimental to LGBT visibility if queer media personalities refuse to acknowledge their orientation, but if she’s admitting she’s in love with a woman, who really cares what she calls herself?
@lee: I understand that this is a very “European” attitude toward sexuality, that nobody is either or, and scholars (including Kinsey) have said that very few people are entirely gay or entirely straight. Only really in America (and similar non-enlightened countries) are people labeled as one or the other. I HATE Lohan generally, but I think she’s being rather (?)intelligent(?) about her sexuality. It’s refreshing.
I quite agree with lee and cath and i repeat Lindsay sounds very smart and mature in the interview.Also Samantha is naturally thin,just see her mum and sister. 8)

I’d just like to point out that “bisexual” does not mean “unfaithful”. A person’s monogamy (or lack thereof) is completely different from their sexual orientation. Being bisexual does not mean that you date men and women at the same time anymore that being heterosexual means you date more than one person of the opposite sex at the same time.
