These are photos of Michelle Williams and Colin Farrell at last night’s US-Ireland Alliance Oscar Wilde Pre-Academy Awards in LA. Michelle wore Givenchy, a silhouette and style we’ve seen on her a million times before. So although it’s nothing new, I do kind of like it on her. I mean, I’m exhausted with the high-collared Rosemary’s Baby look, but if you’re hellbent on doing it, this dress is pretty cute. Plus, it’s shorter than her usual dresses, and I don’t think I’ve ever noticed how nice her legs are. She has a better figure than most people realize – does she get credit for not throwing her boobs in our faces on every red carpet?
But really, don’t you wish and hope that Colin Farrell made his way over to Michelle and they had a little moment? Michelle is fully ensconced in her second virginity right now – whether it’s part of her Oscar campaign or simply a phase she’s going through, I don’t know. But she acts like she’s much, much too fragile to even handle being touched by a boy. Is that Colin’s type? Or is his type still “two legs and a pulse”?
I have to say – I’m not into Colin in these photos. He’s showered, he’s groomed, he’s got a haircut like Mark Harmon on NCIS. His suit fits. He looks pleasant. Not sexy! I need an unbuttoned shirt, some scruff and some necklaces to find him hot. And I’ve never been that girl – the girl who goes for the scruffy poet. But that’s the one way I really find him hot these days. Still, I am hoping that he and Michelle had a moment at this event. I’d really like for them to have some kind of torrid, dirty, Oscar-weekend hookup. Right?

Let us remember, that after you’ve spent 6 months filming with that hot sleek cat Ryan Gosling, you tend to go into shock after losing his constant attention, and anyone else would just PALE in comparison.
As for Collin… This is very weird, my gaydar is up. Never before on him. He was the ultimate dirty boy, and he smelled it, even through the screen. But now… Is it just me?
Is it because he looks like my hairdresser all of a sudden? Or has he simply went through all the possible female conquests, and is now cutting through the male population!

I’ve come to the point where Michelle’s pixie cut, boring dresses and closed mouth smile, just irritate me.
Closed mouth smiles get on my nerves in general.
To paraphrase Vincent Gardenia in Moonstruck, “I don’t trust him, Loretta, you can’t see his teeth when he smiles. What’s he hiding?”
I much prefer the closed mouth smile to the mouth breather look.

I was thinking that, but then it occurred to me that she hasn’t really worked the whole “How I found love again” angle that People and what not really love. I don’t think she worked that when she was with Spike Jonze (she was still using the “I guess I’m not ready for this, I’m still healing….” excuse there).
I think it opens up a whole new Woman Rediscovers Passion line of equally eye-roll-worthy interviews……
Oh God, that’s so true. She brings him up every ten seconds. Either she really needs intensive therapy or she’s milking his memory for publicity. And I hate to think the latter is true, because that’s terrible.
That dress would look better with ballet flats – the uber heels coupled with the dewy innocent gaze make Michelle look like a little girl playing dress up.
I think all designers are going through a retro phase now. Either way, she looks good.
I’d LOVE them together. She seems like she needs the panties rocked off of her these days. I think he’s up for the job. Would love the Vag Hound meets Saint Michelle dichotomy there………….

Dressing up like this just makes him look sleazy and, well, like he’s dressed up for court, on a charge of, say, receiving stolen goods.

I love that dress and it looks very nice on her. I’m not really a fan of hers (I’m kind of a nothing of hers….no feeling either way) but I like her hair and her style. It’s different from all the tits-in-your-face and long straight hair look that everyone else has.

She’s as cute as a button but I so wish she’d change up her look a bit! Do something different with her hair and experiment with fashion a bit more … every dress she wears reminds me of the last dress she wore.
The dress looks good on her, she does have nice legs, never noticed that before. But I’m tired of that haircut, she needs to grow her hair out. Whoever chose Colins suit needs to be fired. He doesn’t look good at all.
That haircut does not do her justice. She has shown she can look sexy and mature, but not with those clothes and hair.
But maybe she wants to downplay her looks to be taken seriously as an actress.

I think she looks lovely about 99% of the times. She is just very pretty, and I think she is very talented too. I have never cared for him though.. I don’t get why women like him, at all..

I WAS a fan of the hair cut… but even with short hair, you CAN style it in different ways.

The man is naturally scruffy no matter what you dress him in. A scruffy, adorable little boy, up to no good, who severely needs a spanking . . . with the flat of my hand, yeah, that’s the ticket, heh, heh.
