I’m a firm believer that women are at their best in a pencil skirt and fitted jacket, or anything 1940s-tailored, for that matter. Curves are accentuated, waists are defined, and a pair of ultra-feminine pumps clinches the ensemble. There are a few celebrities who come back to this look again and again: Eva Mendes, Christina Aguilera, and Victoria Beckham (say what you will about her, but she does look pretty great about 60% of the time) have all been known to put a retro spin on suit separates, with beautiful results.
If you’re having trouble finding something va-va-voom enough, here are a few online stores to check out:
I totally agree BUT, if they embrace their curves so much, why do they diet to within an inch of their lives to lose them? Makes us normal people feel ashamed to have the curves !!
Damn you, Lady Licorice. When you started writing for the site you re-awakened my interest in online shopping. I have been wasting so much time checking out fashion and shoes online and now I love these vampy looks too!
I beg to differ! Irrespective of whatever overpriced couture she drapes herself in, Vicky Beckham looks like shit 99% of the time because she’s an emaciated stick with two grapefruit halves for breasts.
She looks like a cadaver.
Vix Beckham looks great? NOT. The Spice Girls have come and gone, this is The Rise Of Skeletor. Ghastly, always ghastly.
