I guess that dubious rumor about J.Lo’s lover Casper Smart being on the down low is going to fade away unless the tabloids pick it up next week. (Update: Radar picked it up, see below.) In the meantime, In Touch got an interview with one of Casper’s former buddies who says he’s a player and a user. A guy named Josh Ayers went on the record (In Touch even has his photo) to say that Casper used his last girlfriend for cash, a free car and a free place to stay until she got him a job as a back up dancer for J.Lo. Then Casper dumped the chick he was freeloading off of and took up with J.Lo, and not necessarily in that order. Here’s part of the story, and you can read more in this week’s In Touch:
“Casper is a snake,” Josh Ayers, 26, exclusively tells In Touch.
Josh, who has known 25 year-old Casper since they both worked as dancers at LA’s Boulevard3 in 2007, claims that J.Lo’s new man walked out on his then-girlfriend of two years, choreographer Aisha Francis, after she landed him a dream job dancing backup for Jennifer.
After Aisha let Casper move into her San Fernando Valley home, the pair went through a brief rough patch. But Aisha had no idea what was transpiring right under her nose until she turned on the TV one day last November and watched in shock as she learned that Caper had moved on with J.Lo. “Aisha was really good to Casper,” notes Josh. “But he used her to get what he wanted, then left her for J.Lo.”
Inset: Casper lived with Aisha, drove her car and mooched off her – before dumping her for Jennifer.
While Josh and Casper, who co-starred in 2010’s Step Up 3D, remained close until recently, Josh says their friendship soured when Casper began blogging about his new lifestyle. “Casper is a great self-promoter, but his talent is questionable,” says Josh. “He just got lucky.”
Now seven months into his relationship with J.Lo, Casper seems to be up to his old tricks…
“Before he met J.Lo, Casper always said he was never having kids. It’s fishy that now all of a sudden he does. If I was J.Lo’s friend, I would be concerned.”

I thought the stuff about Casper wanting kids was confined to the tabloids, but he actually said it in an interview. He told E! “I for sure want kids in the future. In the future…yes, when I’m ready and when the time is right.” So is he just blowing smoke to keep on J.Lo’s payroll? If he really did use his last girlfriend like that, it’s telling. I found Casper’s ex Aisha’s MySpace and she looks to be in her mid to late 30s. The last time she updated it was 2007, so if she was that age back then she’s probably around J.Lo’s age now. This guy has at least some history of hooking up with older women and mooching off them. He dumped Aisha when J.Lo came around, but he’s not going to do better than her and he knows it. That’s why he’s ready for kids now. Jackpot.
Update: Apparently this “Joshua Lee Ayers” guy is the source of the gay rumors that surfaced last week too. Radar ran that report as if it was a new exclusive, and included a comment from J.Lo and Casper’s rep (they have a joint rep now) claiming “Casper is not gay. These comments are born from envy and jealousy.” Yes, but is he a gold digger?

So it’s confirmed yet again that he is an ugly, distasteful, gross little punk douche. JLo, consider yourself lucky – in most such cases the guy is really handsome, nice, knows how to make himself appear caring and devoted. This douche has it written all over his ugly punk face that he is a deceitful user of people with most likely severe anger issues bubbling just under the surface.
The fact that JLo chooses to be blind to what is soooooo obvious only confirms two things: she is a dumb, stupid, classless bi!ch like his t-shirt says; and she sees nothing wong with him using people – which could only be acceptable to her if she is the same way.
I do not have any sympathy left for her. She squandered all her public good will by horseing around with this douche and letting him run her life, while pretty much abandoning her little kids for him (I mean, is she EVER at home with them?).
She is obviously in the throws of a deep midlife crisis. Jenny, go see a doctor, get some hormone replacement therapy, even get some more plastic surgery – it’s definitely cheaper, cleaner, and safer that having this POS in your life.

Exactly, I cannot sh-t on Casper for being a gold digger. Women had done it often enough, not all women were raised to understand independence or that making money on their own is achievable. So yes, Casper was raised like some women who are constantly looking for a sugar daddy.
But JLo… JLo who had achieved so much under her own name (no matter if some of it she’d gotten on her back… who f-cking cares now), JLo had built herself as a brand, as an entertainer.

When I read the reports that said he was involved in her meeting with American Idol execs, telling them JL no longer needed them, all I could think was WTF. American Idol was the gift horse that gave JL her supposed comeback! You don’t look it in the mouth! I admire women who work hard and gain the success they deserve, but it’s becoming harder and harder to admire Jennifer Lopez when she keeps hooking up with the Casper Smarts of the world, letting them have a say in her business life. @bluhare, If we look at her history with men, she always got something out of the relationship, and dropped them when they didn’t do much for her after a while. Noah, her first round with Marc Anthony, P. Diddy, Ben Affleck, etc.
The only exception was Chris Judd. Thought that was her very-late-bloomer puppy love.
I was always under the impression though that Marc Anthony had tried very hard to shove her behind him. He was always jealous of her career and popularity, and tried to take the spotlight, whenever they were cameras. But got shoved in the background by the media/paps, who treated him like a second-grade garçon at a high-end restaurant. While JLo was the notorious Maître-D.
And if rumors are right, Marc very much tried to control her finances, to NO avail. Although there is that Howard Stern one-time comment on his Sirius show, hinting at why at the time JLo took the American Idol gig, to everyone’s surprise as a career move: To pay off Marc Anthony’s many debts. But it wasn’t clear, just rumors at their apparent financial troubles.

Sorry, I think she looks horrible. The dress is clearly wrong size, not taylored to her which with her body is a must.
The bottom seam looks like it’s just been cut with scissors, unevenly, and is already starting to shread.
Plus with this silhouette all her imperfections come out full force – her thighs look humongous, her a$$ gigantic.

Well they can say all they want about Caspar, and it may all be true, but JLo is no stranger to this type of romance. She’s never been with anyone guy for too long, and she’s been married multiple times. I think they both have some issues, but who really cares? She’ll get bored with him soon and move on to the next one.
