Another Wednesday, another butt-load of tabloid reports about The Great Twihard Meltdown of 2012. First, some good news: in addition to giving his “first” interview to Good Morning America on August 15 (next Wednesday), Robert Pattinson has agreed to do an interview with Jon Stewart at The Daily Show… on MONDAY. Which means that Jon Stewart will probably get the “exclusive” first interview, not GMA. There’s a chance TDS interview could be a pre-taped deal to air later in the week, but why in the world would The Daily Show NOT want to air the exclusive on Monday night? You know it will be good television too – Jon Stewart is surprisingly effective interviewer, but he won’t go for the “Barbara Walters cry-athon” moment. Jon will probably give Sparkles a drink and show him photos of boobs. Here are some more stories circulating through this week’s tabloids:
*Kristen was spotted with her trainer at LA’s Gold’s Gym. An eyewitness told Hollywood Life that Kristen “didn’t look too happy… I never saw her smile. She just kind of looked serious and kept her head down a lot.” Another witness said, “She has been in working out with her own people in very intense workouts…While she was here she talked to nobody except her trainer and left afterwards without showering or going into the locker rooms to change.” Which is exactly her MO – she must like to shower at home. But it means she was all sweaty and gym-y when she hooked up with Rupert Sanders in her Mini Cooper. Gross. Anyway, one of the witnesses said, “She looked good and healthy, not super skinny or weird.” Thank you.
*People Mag says Sparkles is “rethinking” every part of his relationship with Kristen. A source says, “One moment he thought he had his partner and the next he was forced to rethink decisions he’s made. He’s sad about it.”
*Us Weekly reports that Rob hasn’t made up his mind to dump Kristen at this point. A source says, “What he wants still changes from day to day. He loves her very much. A lot of people close to Rob are rooting for him to end it.” But Rob has started taking her calls and answering her texts.
*Us Weekly’s source also says that Rob is “too nice” to make Kristen pay for cheating on him. “Rob would never do anything to Kristen out of spite. He’s too good a guy. It’s not like him to want to hurt her.” I believe that.
*Sources describe Rob as “putty in her hands” and they say that once he sees her and they begin promoting Breaking Dawn Part II, that Kristen will lip-bite and eye-roll her way back into Rob’s sparkly pants.
*Bill Condon, director of Breaking Dawn Part II, tells Entertainment Weekly, “The fact is, these are actors playing parts, and maybe it’s not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that. Both of these actors gave heart and soul to the Twilight movies, not only during shooting, but also by navigating so graciously the whole life-in-a-fishbowl aspect of the phenomenon. Above all they have always shown great respect for the fans who made these movies such a success. Now it’s time that some of that respect be returned to them.” Er… a bold statement coming from a director working with Summit, a studio who loved every part of Kristen and Rob’s real life relationship and subtly exploited their real relationship for monetary gain.
So… basically, things are in a holding pattern, but more sources are saying that Rob will end up sticking with Kristen. For a little bit, at least. Maybe until December, because Summit will have their heads if they don’t make it through November.

Those are pics from outside her gym. She was there with Nick Cassavettes (why?) and they were having a heated discussion in the parking lot. Seems like little miss has a director thing going. Not just for lovers, but it seems a lot of her friends are directors, too.
It wasn’t a heated discussion if you look at the set of pics. They are talking about something, then she looks like she’s telling him an exaggerated story which is her doing those weird faces, he laughs, they walk off.
Umm, no. Gigi. The photos of Kristen and Rupert were taken on the 17th and published on Wednesday the 25th. They were leaked on-line after midnight on the 24th. KS has not been photographed since the leaks. The above pics with Nick Cassavetes were taken on July 19th but released after the 25th. If there’s one thing everyone admits it’s that she has been out of the public eye for the last couple of weeks. She has not been pap’d since.
*sigh* and cue a roll of the eyes: The man is Nick Cassavetes (director of The Notebook) and son of her idols Gena Rowlands and John Cassavetes. They worked out together and were leaving the gym. He is the director and she is a producer on Cali, her new flick. Obviously it’s a very animated discussion. You know sometimes candid shots of people show real life. If a camera followed me around all the effing time it would catch me nose picking, talking to myself and maybe even adjusting my undies. We all do this shit, so why do you guys judge people harshly for it?
I don’t care with whom she works out or argues. But these were taken after the photos with Rupert leaked. She just does not seem to grasp the concept of discretion. At all. Because if you’d just been caught publicly cheating on your boyfriend with a director, maybe you should lay off being seen publicly with directors for a week or two.
they were published AFTER the scandal broke, but were taken before though. She has not been pictured since the scandal. The paps knew something was up obviously, at least someone did, and were following her like crazy that week those nasty photos of her and rupert were taken.
I hope he ends it and moves on. I know it’s difficult, but it’s better than an on end off relationship.

I saw the entire set the other day and now I can’t find them. The best one is of her leaning up against her car and pulling her jeans away from her waist and looking down her pants at something while Nick Cassavetes is right there. It just struck me as an odd thing to do in a parking lot.

This is getting ridiculous. I really feel sorry for Pattinson. With all this stories I feel outside forces (Twi-hards, Summit, K-Stew and her PR team)are trying to force him into taking her back, all for selfish reasons: Twi-hards want to save their romatic fantasy, Summit wants to save BD2’s box office, and Stewart wants to save her career. I hope when Rob does one or both of his sit-downs next week he would just tell the world it’s over, but in his own way. He may be strong enough to do it; remember, he kicked her out of HIS house 3 days after the scandal broke. Who saw that coming? I hope Rob realizes the power he has now.

I went on a Kristen fansite (I know I know, it was two in the morning, sue me) and you need to see the shit the twihards are trying. It is truly epic. Half of them believe this never happened and it’s all photoshopped. Being do in love and having it implode quickly is hard. It wasn’t a long, slow death to gradually accept. I can see him going back, to quick fix his pain, but it will be temporary. They will eventually call it quits for good.
Sounds like a probable scenario – make up temporarily because he’s not really ready to let go of the relationship. Then accept things can never be what they were before the cheating and regretfully move on.

I think the opposite. I think they break up now, spend a year or so apart, and gradually find their way back to each other (maybe she grows up a little?) I think she would have to earn back his trust, if at all possible.
I tend to agree with this. If there’s anything left to save, I’d see him taking a long break, maybe seeing what else is out there. And if he still has the feels down the road, and she has cleaned up her act and grovelled appropriately, they could revisit.
If he is at all inclined to hang on to the relationship, I hope he takes a long break in between. Plus, she’s been in relationships since she was 16, and could use some time on her own to grow up a bit and figure out what she wants too.

Relationships survive infidelity all the time. Kristen is to young to get married. Rob needs to let her go for both their sakes. Doesn’t it seem like rob has suffocated her all these years? That kind of all consuming love can be difficult to handle.

This is what I think:
1) Rob and KS are best friends, may be friends with benefits on occasions. Theirs ‘s a showmance, nothing more. They stuck together for the sake of the franchise. Fans (mainly crazy ones)loved the fact they actually become a real couple and that the would get married and have little vampire and now Rob is compelled to forgive her. Her apologize was over the top, unreliable.
2) None of them is gay. There’s no bearding thing. She likes men. He likes women. Period.
3)The minicooper affair was not PR stunt. It happened and it sucked for Liberty and her kids. I’m pretty sure Rob wasn’t blindside or anything. He might have known about her affair but he didn’t care.
This is what I think:
1) Rob and Kris met on set, spent lots of time together. Attraction is palpable.
2) By the second movie,2009, they were infatuated with each other, but the perfect storm of spending so much time together and everyone being in love with them as a couple carried them on a crazy ride,carried them along to a more serious relationship that they may not have been ready for. After all she is only 19.
3) Two years later, she gets on the set of SWATH and is out of the storm for a bit. In the UK she reasseses and realizes she’s being taken along by a force outside herself. Attention from another man tittilates her and she tests herself seeing how committed she is to Rob. Rob stays in LA, maybe at her behest, he doesn’t live with her in London, instead he visits. Opportunity is there to try it.SO SHE DOES. And she gets away with it.
4) She cares for Rob,maybe even loves him. But doesn’t love him enough for a committed/forever relationship.She’s only 21, with lots of life yet to live. She likes the time with Rupert. He is a gifted director,very good at his craft, something she admires. He’s into her too, and this relationship feels like something she can control. She doesn’t break with Rob, she selfishly justifies it by thinking it would hurt him. And the last movie is coming up. She thinks she’ll break with him afterwards, ease into it.
5) Back in the states, she sees Rupert occasionally.Promotion starts. She’s missed the time with him, she’s back on this Twilight relationship rollercoaster that she has no control over, and she hates it. Rupert calls, she goes hurriedly, still sweaty from the gym.They’ll just kiss,talk and flirt, she’ll feel better after. Bam she gets papped and its the worst thing imaginable.The house of cards come tumbling down. Rob asks and she is forced to tell him everything. Yes,it’s been going on for awhile,yes it’s an affair,I’m sorry.
6) Everyone judges her based on a set of suggestive photos.They scream, BJ and biscuit munching, even though the pics don’t show that. People take sides, strangers hate her.Some want her blood.
7) She apologizes publically, in hopes that it will soften the blow for Rob.People will know it’s not him, it’s her. He can hold his head up.
8) She thinks to herself: At least I’ll get my life back. (Eventually). No more epic love, no more paps. I’ll get to do small indies. I have enough money for several lifetimes.I don’t need to be in the crosshairs.It’s all good.

I think the showmance theory was debunked awhile ago. If that’s what it was, they did it wrong. People in a showmance walk down the street holding hands in front of the paps, conveniently get photographed as they have coffee, etc. Think Ashley Greene & Joe Jonas, Reese & Jake, and the like.
With these two, they avoided public PDA and exposure like the plague. But there were photos that showed up from crazy stalker fans (not paps) who hacked into friends facebook accounts and the like. Pictures of them at friends weddings, family events, etc. And pap shots that did show the two together were super grainy and clearly taken from far far away.
Plus, if Summit wanted a showmance, they wouldn’t have started it just after the first movie, so that it would be old boring news by the time the last movie came out. No, they’d have waited and timed it more in line with the the 4th movie.
Step 1 in getting Rob back, Kristen: Sell the MiniCooper.

But nothing’s wrong with what the director said. he’s saying that both of them have logged in a lot of hours when it comes to giving to their fans and it’s time for the fans to give back by remembering some boundaries. I think that’s a pretty fair and diplomatic statement.
It has seemed since Pattinson and Stewart got together that Stewart has been driving this train. Didn’t some director say she was the stronger character? Ultimately, I think he will follow her lead, and if she needs for them to get back together they will. Makes me a bit sad, I mean, doesn’t he think he deserves better treatment than this? Does anyone else think it’s possible that they have been together somewhere trying to work all this out? All of these sightings seem planted.

Actresses are just horrble people with no boundries. Once the fame comes, you no longer have to have class because everyone will be nice to you even if they hate you and think you are a skank. In the real world you have to be decent and good and kind on order for people to be kind and respectful to you and make friends. It sucks. I cant even imagine doing that to my wonderful hubs, his love for me is a gift that I will never abuse, I am lucky as hell to have it.
I think he should take her back if he still loves her. If she really loves him I think she will stay faithful after all this…but if she doesn’t and can’t she needs to be brave enough to walk away.
