Oprah is buying a new “condo” in an exclusive Chicago building. Although her new place takes up an entire floor, it’s just half the size of her last place, which was 10,000 square feet. Word is that she’s moving for the sake of her five dogs, who were annoying her neighbors in her last building.
Oprah and Stedman are finally moving in together and Life and Style speculates that they’re going to be married after over a decade of dating:
At last! Life & Style has learned exclusively that Oprah Winfrey, 52, and longtime beau Stedman Graham, 55, are set to make it official — they’re going to cohabitate!
“They will be moving together to a new place,” a rep for Oprah confirms.
Could this be the first step towards marriage?
Insiders tell Life & Style that Oprah and Stedman could finally be ready to walk down the isle. “At Oprah’s age she no longer feels she has to prove anything about being a strong single woman,” says one insider. “She’s happy to let Stedman have what he wants.”
While the rep downplays talk of nuptials, the insider says Chicago would be the frontrunner for the wedding location — and Oprah just bought the perfect love nest there: a $6 million, 5,000-square-foot apartment!

If Oprah gets married now, it doesn’t really seem like she’s doing it for love. I doubt it will happen though. She’s been with Stedman forever and they’re only just moving in together? I’m not buying it.
Oprah letting Stedman move in is to quiet the lezbo rumors that are making the rounds. With that said, I remember a taxi driver in Chicago telling me how he saw Oprah out jogging without make-up, but with a body guard. All the taxi guy said is that Oprah is one ugly lady! Please Stedman, take this girl out of circulation! BTW, I do like Oprah (when she’s not around).
Why is society so obsessed with couples ‘needing’ to get married (beside religious obligation)? Obviously what they’re doing works for them…if it works, then they shouldn’t mess with the formula and especially not because everyone else thinks that they should.
Mr. T, What is your problem with Oprah? She donated $10 million of her own money to build homes for victims of Katrina. She’s building a school in South Africa to give young girls there an education. She walks the walk and gives much of herself, and you come up with a juvenile response saying “she’s ugly”. You better go home, I hear your mommy calling you.
Oprah is a holier-than-thou lady. that’s the problem with Oprah. She walks the walk and talks the talk and thinks VERY HIGHLY of herself because of it. She has a ego that would fill a stadium. A little humility would do that lady a bit of good.
Why the hell would she need to marry anybody? She’s fabulously wealthy and does as she pleases.
As a matter of fact, why would she want to LIVE with any man? I say keep Stedman on his leash and out of her house.
I really like Oprah and I think she’s one of the very few genuinely nice celebs around and that I have much respect for her.However why now after all this time is she going to the next level of her relationship with Stedman?I really hope this is what she wants and not doing it because of all the rumors about her and Gail.Oprah your a very intelligent,independent and good human being.Who cares what people think of you,if your happy with yourself it doesn’t matter what others say.Just remember stay true to yourself.

For one, I do believe Oprah and Gail had some sort of sexual relationship! I think they both are bisexual. They talks on the phone at least 7 times, come on let’s be real! I know Gail and her children are well taken care of!

Hey Marci, you’re daddy is calling you. Get a grip on it woman. I made a legitamate comment. O’s public impression she made on the Taxi driver in her hometown of Chicago is that she is one ugly lady. We all laughed at his comment. Face it, she may be a doo-doo gooder but she’s still UGLY!
They already live together. They have lived together since they became ingaged a long ass time ago. They just have never felt the urge to marry.
