That is the question! Life & Style claims that Alex was “getting flirty” with Olivia Munn during the endless Emmy parties this past weekend. The problem? Olivia Munn has a boyfriend, the last time I checked. She’s with Joel Kinnaman, a Swedish actor (The Killing) who is friendly with Alex. Hm!
Flirt alert! Life & Style can exclusively reveal that True Blood heartthrob Alexander Skarsgård, 36, was getting ready to sink his fangs into a new ladylove, actress Olivia Munn, 32, at the HBO Official Emmy After Party in LA on Sept. 23.
“He kept touching her arm and leaning in to whisper in her ear,” a fellow partygoer tells Life & Style. “They were very intimate and inseparable the whole night. He kept cracking jokes, and Olivia couldn’t stop laughing.”
And Alexander was definitely feeling the love that night! “I’m having so much fun tonight,” he told Life & Style. “HBO knows how to throw a party!”
I like Joel a lot, I think he’s incredibly talented and he’s cute in a dirtbag kind of way. But if Alex was whispering in my ear and touching my “arm” (“biscuit”), I think I would forget all about Joel Kinnaman. Sorry, Kinnaman! TEAM VIKING THUNDER!! No, I actually hope L&S has it wrong. I don’t know if they were mistaking Joel for Alex, or if Alex was just spending time with a friend’s girlfriend, or what exactly happened. Alex is such a player, I think. I know his fan-girls don’t want to think of him that way, but I’m guessing that Alex gets around quite a bit.

Why is it every time people of the opposite sex talk to each other they are accused of flirting/cheating? They are at a loud party. Most people are whispering in each other ear. If Alexander is friends with Olivia’s boyfriend I doubt he’s making a move. They probably just know each other.

As a self-professed “Skars-looney,” I am fully prepared to see The Viking as a player. I kinda expect it. I’d be a little disapppointed if I learned otherwise…what?…because I like to imagine he’s working his way across the planet to impregnate the universe, but I doubt Skars was out of line with his buddy’s girl.
His naturally flirty with everyone (at least when I met him) but the way the tabloids are trying to set him up with every woman he’s ever met is so incredibly dumb.

Olivia’s reps already put it out on JJ last night that this was false. I think the L&S just saw an Eonline article that they were talking and voila! instant hook-up!

My cousin was on the crew for Big Sur, and he saw ASkars a couple of times on set visiting Bos. My cousin said Skars was always really sweet and attentive with Kate. So I doubt he cheated on her. Given the timing of their breakup and her hookup with Michael Polish, it’s more likely she cheated on Skars. Which in my mind makes her stupid, no matter how nice she was to my cousin and everyone on set (and she apparently is a class act when it comes to that – no diva antics from her whatsoever).
Izzy, AS visited her on the set of Big Sur? Interesting, as the last time they were ever noted in public was at Coachella, which was the weekend before she started filming. She left early and he seemed to be back to being HappySkars after that.
And I think MP mentioned at Sundance he asked KB to marry him the first week of filming. If AS really did visit makes me wonder what she was really up to. And what MP was up to.

It was close to the time they split, and from the little my cousin intimated, I gather a lot of people on set thought there was something up between the Bos and Polish. But Alex was there twice (that my cousin knew of), it was closer to the beginning of production, which says something to me about the timing of everything. I’m guessing Alex still thought they could work through whatever rough patch they were going through (there were reports of that the month before Big Sur started filming).
Sheila, even if MP was joking about when he became her ‘life partner’, the relationship apparently moved along very quickly considering he was with her when she filmed her movie in Italy in July and they were photographed with the rings the day after the breakup announcement the end of that month. So the timing is interesting, was she cheating on AS with MP and was MP aware of that? My belief is that the relationship ended at Coachella and KB had already figured out that MP liked her and they hooked up rather quickly on set, since she was now single.
Because if AS was on set it would have been obvious the relationship wasn’t quite over.

RE: VANILLA SKY – I recommend you seek out the original film OPEN YOUR EYES that was remade into VANILLA SKY.
Many other language/countries’ films are remade for american audiences with terrible results. Something definitely gets lost in translation. I think the only decent american remake of another language/country film is THE DEPARTED which stands up against it’s original version INFERNAL AFFAIRS

I’m not Asian or anything, but…why does everyone hate Olivia?! The only people that seem to defend her are Asian girls! She’s no worse than Bosworth/the girl that plays Alice/etc. She doesn’t call the paps all the time, when she’s on a grocery store run, what-have-you. She is beautiful. She seems down to earth, smart, and arguably talented. Is the hate-on really necessary? Also, whatever with the hacked photos! I would hope we live in a progressive enough society where we don’t equate the morality of a person with their sexuality.
I’m not Asian, and I’ll defend her too. I don’t know what’s given rise to the famewhore rep she seems to have, but she was pretty good in Magic Mike, and I think she’s excellent in The Newsroom. The character is nerdy, somewhat shy, and socially inept, and it comes across in the performance.
