Here are some photos of Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz at last night’s UK premiere of Oz the Great and Powerful. I’ll cover the Michelle Williams photos in another post, because I have some other stuff to say about her. So, let’s talk fashion! In a head-to-head competition between hot brunette ladies, I would normally pick Rachel Weisz every time. She’s one of my girls! I love her. I think she’s beautiful and accessible and talented. But Rachel’s Michael Kors gown is kind of blah, right? I don’t even want to call it “fug” – it’s just kind of basic and not incredibly flattering and the color is meh. It just feels like Rachel is phoning it in, and I don’t understand why. She’s stunning, and usually her style rocks. And I really hate to say this, but Rachel IS looking kind of Botoxy lately. Either that or her makeup artist is just really, really bad (which could totally be the case).
Meanwhile, Mila has that sort of “everywoman” quality like Rachel, although… this thing with Ashton has totally skewed my normally favorable opinion of her lately. Mila wore this ruffled tablecloth by Alexander McQueen, and by that I mean Sarah Burton for McQueen, as further evidence of how awful Burton has become for the McQueen label. While I didn’t always like or agree with McQueen’s designs, he had a genuinely exciting perspective and he made fascinating clothes. Burton is just making pretty-princess gowns with lace and ruffles that can be more easily consumed by the likes of Amanda Seyfried and Duchess Kate. On any other woman, I think this dress would be a total disaster. But Mila’s confidence and bitchface are almost making this look work. Almost!

Mila.
I think Rachel looks quite elegant here, but she looks great in most things really.
Don’t like the McQueen dress at all, but at least Mila doesn’t look like her body is physically rejecting Kutcher. Can’t wait to see them on Graham Norton’s show tonight.
Also, the kid in me loves the fact that they’re walking the yellow carpet ^^
*sings* Follow the yellow brick road. Follow the yellow brick road. Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow the yellow brick road! 😀 (Sorry, I just woke up.)
I think they both look good. I like Rachel’s gown, and the top half of Mila’s but the ruffles are too much for me.
How fug is Mila’s dress..god.. I love Rachel’s instead, even if it may seems a little plain I think it’s very classy and chic.
But yeah, she kind of look botoxed.
Rachel’s done that ‘too much white powder under the eyes’ thing, but other than that, she looks gorgeous – very 1940s. Mila is just blah, as usual.
Love Rachel Weisz!

Hope this includes Botox as well!
Ah… That quote is from a few years ago. Yes?
Things change, Hollywood’s tough. Word on the street is that Rachel had a mini- facelift a little while back.
I know, there’s talk about Kate Winslet too. Hope it’s not true though 😉
I was going to say Mila until I scrolled a little further down and saw the entire dress-so by default it goes to Rachel even though she’s looked better.
Yeah once I saw the bottom half that was a no go situation for me.
I really love both of the dresses. So different from each other but so pretty.
I love the fit of Rachel’s dress! I agree the color washes her out.
Rachel by far. Mila’s bottom dress looking like Dr Quinn Medicine Woman and other Little House on the Prairie ruined it for me.
Rachel’s dress is very pretty, but it would look better against a darker complexion.
Think both would look better if they swapped their gowns.
I will always pick Rachel Weisz – my girl crush and the only woman on my freebee 5.
Mila Kunis’ dress is just awful IMO. Alexander McQueen just isn’t the same with Sarah Burton at the helm.
Rachel looks beautiful, that dress is really pretty. Mila looks lovely too, the dress is a nice change but I guess people are used to more form fitting dresses.
Hate both their dresses. And, seriously, make-up artists – is there still anyone out there, who doesn’t know that you are not supposed to use HD microfinish powder for red carpet?Rachel looks like a negative of panda.
she should really fire her makeup artist for that type of incompetence :/
Saw a screening for OZ, Rachel was superb, Michele did wonderful as for Mila and James, they gave horrible performances. Rachel owns it.
rachel always looks uber fabulous and i hope I look as great as her as I begin to age!! She really is beautiful and so is Mila. Her dress is terrible tho.
Rachel! I think Mila’s dress would have worked better for someone taller and slender.
That’s the first time ever I find Rachel not particular attractive and looking her age…Is she pregnant?
Mila looks trashy, and her dress is simply horrible. Where the heck did she get this monstrosity and why?
I find something weird in Rachel’s makeup, around the eye zone, too much white I see.
I love Rachel’s whole look, but the first thought when I looked at her, was crap the rumors about her messing with her face are true, but maybe it’s just a bad makeup job. I also think Mila looks beautiful, but not a fan of her dress.
Mila’s dress is atrocious, but she carries it off somehow. Major attitude. I am thinking that Rachel’s dress may be more beautiful in person. It’s a tough color, and it definitely doesn’t photograph well. Especially on someone with pale skin. She usually knocks it out of the park…this is surprising.
Rachel is so beautiful. I saw her on Jimmy Kimmel or Jimmy Fallon a few weeks ago. Stunning with her beautiful fair skin, dark hair, great makeup. Too bad someone like these tanorexic actresses (who can’t go one movie without their tan) can’t see that having a dark tan isn’t always flattering — Jen Aniston. Jen should go look at her early movies or early Friends clips before her addiction.
Mila looks adorable.
They’re both gorgeous.
I call a fail for both, frankly. If I had to pick the better, it’s prob. RW and only bc of the shot of her from behind, where the dress kind of flatters her. The color is just too pale for her.
MK looks beautiful in the face, hair, skin department but, tiers of ruffles on such a petite woman?
On the other hand, the dress Michelle Williams wore to the same event is one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever seen.
Mila Kunis Vs. Rachel Weisz? That’s like comparing two sunrises. :^)
Rachel all the way. Mila’s dress is fug.
I like both. Is my fashion radar broken?
Rachel’s makeup person went too heavy on the under and side eye highlighting. It hides the wrinkles, brings out the cheekbones and freshens the face, yeah, but when it’s overdone it doesn’t work.
Love the top of Mila’s dress, but want a more structured bottom for it – something more Alexander McQueeny. Pretty sure McQueen would have beaten the person who put ruffles on this.
They’re both really beautiful women, but neither are in fantastic dresses. Mila’s is fug, and Rachel looks nice washed out.
Mila looks like she lost all that “extra” weight, no?
Rachel, but only cuz the bottom of Mila’s dress is atrocious.
if mila’s dress wasn’t floor-length but, say, knee-length or maybe a bit shorter, it would look good. they’re both very pretty though.
Rachel’s dress is rather blah and her makeup is off. Of course, she’s always beautiful and her elegance never goes away, but this isn’t her at her best.
Mila – hate the dress. Hatey hate hate. I do think she has stunning eyes and her hair is crazy shiny beautiful.
Mila wins. Stunning look.
After all . . . tomorrow is another day.
fiddle-dee-dee.
I find Rachel’s dress to be elegant, simple, flattering, and beautiful. Her hair and make-up, on the other hand is…unfortunate. Someone needs to slap some sense into her hair/make-up team, STAT.
Mila’s hair and make-up look great! But not the dress.
Mila’s dress is AWFUL!!!!!!
Rachel is unbeatable on the red carpet.
The only person that can beat her is Charlize.
I just want to yell “Smile!” at Mila. But then again, she’s been working the sultry red carpet face since Black Swan.
They both look beautiful, but Mila.. remember you’re never fully dressed without a smile.
I do not generally like lace so it have to be fairly spectacular to make me see past that. The fit is good though.
I am not a fan of Mila’s dress on her – especially when you compare tot he burgundy sheath she wore the night before(?) I thought that was a lovely silhouette on her.
I like Reachel’s better, that many ruffles are a no-no for me.
They both look great, but I don’t like Mila’s dress….Mila’s been on a roll lately.
I think Mila’s dress would be great if it stopped right above her knees. The other dress is fine too.
mila’s would work if it stopped at the knee, i think
but the ruffles are overwhelming
rachel looks better
Mila wins.
The waist on her dress needs to be cinched in just a little more though!!!
What’s with Mila and the constant bitchface lately?
Rachel looked better. I like Mila’s dress but it’s too much for her. It need to be on someone taller- like a Nicole or Cameron or Charlize. It swallows her.
Rachel could wear a burlap sack and still be one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen.
Ugh, I don’t like either dress… but at least Rachel manages to look polished and elegant. The McQueen dress is an ill-fitting disaster. Mila doesn’t usually misstep quite this badly. Was she punk’d by her bf?
