Just so you know, I think this story is crap. But I know how much people dislike everyone involved in this story, so I think we can enjoy making fun of what allegedly happened. So, Gwyneth Paltrow and Tracy Anderson are in business together. Gwyneth is an investor/partner in Tracy’s latest gym/blow-dry-bar, and Gwyneth has been promoting Tracy for years. Tracy is her investment. Gwyneth wants Tracy to succeed as a gym-owner and trainer, not just for the money, but because Gwyneth is really tired of seeing so many fat peasants. But does Gwyneth want to have a say in which celebrities Tracy does and does not train? Star Magazine says so.
Gwyneth Paltrow is feuding with longtime trainer Tracy Anderson – and Kim Kardashian is to blame! Unbeknownst to Gwyneth, Kim, who is also Tracy’s client, was invited to attend the opening of Tracy’s new gym in Brentwood on April 4. According to Star, Gwyneth was livid when Kim turned up and hogged the spotlight!
“Kim was the absolute last person Gwyneth wanted to be seen with,” snipes the insider. “Gwyn is all about her natural look, so she hates being around anyone with too much plastic surgery. For her, Kim falls into that category – and Tracy is getting there!”
While Gwyneth kept her cool during the festivities, she later unleashed a tirade on Tracy: “Gwyn fumed that she and Kim are never to cross paths again,” the source reveals, adding that thanks to the run-in with Kim, Gwyneth not only backtracked on a business venture with Tracy but gave her a roundabout ultimatum: me or Kardashian!
“It’s a real Mean Girl thing for her to do, but Gwyneth feels like people who overuse plastic surgery are sending a bad message to the world. So in her mind, she’s doing the honorable thing by not being a part of it – or Tracy!

Well… huh. First of all, this is bad business. Gwyneth can’t pick and choose only the most elite clients who can work out at her gym. Even for a “boutique” gym (which this probably is), Gwyneth would and could not turn away paying customers. Second of all, I don’t even think Gwyneth is some kind of advocate for less plastic surgery. She associates/befriends women with bad facelifts and wonky boob jobs all the time. Three, at this point, Gwyneth deigns to associate with people who are “beneath” her all the time. She defended Kim Kardashian at the gym opening, and Gwyneth’s rep tells Gossip Cop that Goop and Kim are “friends” (OMG) and they talked at the event.

Yeah, I don’t believe this–otherwise why would she have gone into business with TA in the first place? She’s as fake looking as they come.
Of course the story is BS!! Gwyneth and Tracy are business partners, this is a business. Kim is paying Tracy for her services, why would Gwyneth be upset about that?
Though this story is most likely BS it wouldn’t surprise me if it was true. Gwyn’s a snobby celeb and just because it’s a business doesn’t mean people can’t make it personal. Gwyn probably feel that Kim could hurt the brand since most people feel like Kim is reality TV trash.
On a different note us peasants are not the only ones given Goop grief about her most beautiful title. She’s getting a lot of backlash from people in the business as well.

Co-sign on everything everyone in this thread is saying about her appearance. And, let me add a disclaimer that I’ve read about the crazy calorie-restricted diets—that is terrible for your body, and I’d never recommend it.]
BUT I downloaded her mat workout and her post-pregnancy workout and seriously, try ’em. You’re going to feel like a moron, and look like one, because there’s lots of unorthodox arm swinging and gesticulating. There’s also lots of weird leg movements that aren’t unlike a dog squatting by a hydrant that will muscles super-sore that you’ve never even known you had.. I’ve never had a baby, but the post-baby workout is one of the best ab workouts I’ve ever done, if you can get past the weird addition of classical music. The dance one is hard, and lots of memorization, I haven’t gotten into that one yet. But I do highly recommend her mat workout and her post-pregnancy workout. You will feel the burn.

Someone needs to explain to Tracy (however) that stretching your neck during photos doesn’t make it appear longer. It just makes you look strained.

I can see goop not wanting to associate with a Kardashian when it comes to selling gym memberships. None of the Ks have what I would consider to be toned, enviable physiques.
Most women do NOT want huge boobs and asses. I’ve always thought that part of the fascination with the K bimbos is the fact that they are so proud of their Rubenesque figures. They are like those monkeys with the red butts–presenting all over town, while the goops of the world are doing hot yoga for hours at a time trying to lose that last millimeter of ass fat.

REALLY??? Maybe it’s the grass is always greener effect, since i’ve always been one of those skinny without the slightest bit of effort people since birth (basically the Goop looks like what I do when I’ve been trying my hardest to gain weight and eating 3000 calories per day, Kim K’s pregnant figure is my dream body) – but it seems to me like all women just LOVE having as huge of an ass and boobs as possible and look down their noses at anyone who they decide is “too skinny”, which is, like the biggest insult one woman can give another woman. Just my honest, admittedly perhaps out of touch perspective.

i can see the story being true but not for the reason noted. goop wants an exclusive business. the kkk have thrown their endorsement to every last type of product except for urinal cakes and i’m sure that is on schedule for 2014. i dont think it is unreasonable to think letting that kkk make your gym their trillionth endorsement is bad for business.

I favour a Hunger Games style approach for resolving this issue. Lock Gwyneth and Kim in a large arena with an assortment of weapons. Whoever survives gets Tracy Anderson.

I heard years ago that Gwyneth Paltrow would actively snub anyone who was a reality tv star (someone from The Bachelor tv show comes to mind).
Gwyneth is no better, she got into acting because her father put her there. Her acting talent is mediocre anyway. At least with reality stars, most of them are self made.
