I’ll admit that the Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart has amused me for over 18 months since the two were revealed to be enjoying some sort of relationship (i.e., “banging”) since November 2011. Don’t get me wrong — this is not without some degree of envy that I giggle. When I’m JLo’s age (43), I would be flattered as hell to be considered sexy enough to attract a much younger dude. Mind you, Casper Smart is not exactly my type of young, 20-something dude. However, there’s something about him that keeps JLo coming back for over the past year-and-a-half. How does he do it — special moves in the sack? Never mind, I just grossed myself out.
At any rate, Kaiser mentioned a few months ago how weird it is that Jennifer and Casper are still not engaged, which really is odd because she usually moves so fast. Instead, JLo’s been taking it slow even though she admitted late last year that she’s into the fairy tale aspect of romance. Now JLo revealed to ET Online that she’s open to marriage with Casper and that it will “probably” happen. Uh-oh:
These days, Jennifer Lopez and her beau Casper Smart are rarely seen without the other, and in a sit down interview with ET, the 43-year-old performer dished on what makes her relationship with the dancer/choreographer, 25, work, and why she’s open to tying the knot again.
Our Rob Marciano caught up with J.Lo on the set of her new music video for Live it Up, where talk quickly turned to her boyfriend, who just so happened to be choreographing her sexy video set on the warm sand beaches of Fort Lauderdale, Florida .
First seen as a background dancer in Lopez’s Papi video in 2011, Smart has become an integral part of the musician’s team.
“He’s a creative partner to me. He knows what I want to accomplish,” said Lopez. “He helps me and I help him, and it kind of works that way.”
As for the romantic connection between the two, J.Lo can’t help but sing her praises for Smart.
“It’s a sweet relationship,” gushes Lopez. “It’s kind, it’s healthy.”
Whether they’ll take a walk down the aisle together remains to be seen, but J.Lo admits she’ll “probably” take the plunge again in the future.
“I like [being married],” she said.

Poor Jennifer is so taken with this little dude that she’s not only decided that he’s her “creative partner” as stated in the above interview, she also allowed him to negotiate her way out of an “Idol” contract renewal. Then Casper unironically sat down to hold his own autograph sessions at JLo’s concerts because he is so important. I wonder if Casper “advised” JLo to purchase her new $10 million Hampton’s home? He probably had some say in that transaction.

I am usually very supportive of the older woman/young man combi. It actually pisses me off when people chime in to say “I could never date a guy that young” as if anyone cares what they would or wouldnt do. Please! I dont know about these 2 though, the gay rumors about him are pretty credible. Sometimes I wonder if theirs is a sexless Liza Minelli/David Guest thing where he pampers he ego and she pampers his wallet.
Oh it’s not even an age thing at all (half the men I’ve dated have been younger and I am only 31 – big fan), it’s that aside from Mark Anthony she seems to be set on dudes who seem to totally mooch off of her and ride her fame and fortune for their own aggrandizement. And based on some interviews she’s given, she seems insecure enough to be amazed that someone like them (hot & young) would want to stick around with an old hag like her. Which is RIDIC, because she looks better now than I did at 21. Not to mention she is freakin JLO.
Honestly, I’m not. It always reeks of sugar mamma. Always. Unless both are broke or both are rich, I think older people delude themselves into thinking they “still got it” (and Jlo does!) when the deciding factor is probably money.
On JLo’s case it’s a career too! A name. Opportunity. A very A list life.
You think she would’ve learned her lesson when last time she married the other dancer. I believe he got about 10-15 million dollars in the divorce settlement. I wonder how much this one would get if they married and eventually divorced?
She openly cheated on him with Ben Affleck. That was pretty much hush money.

Jennifer does not need to remarry for a 4th time especially not to Casper. What is she thinking? At least Elizabeth Taylor didn’t have to convince us that her men are something they’re not. Even Larry Fortensky was his own man which Liz respected because he didn’t try to become a celeb or an important showbiz guy. That’s what is different between these two women imo. Jlo has been trying to make her man Casper into a respected, serious choreographer and or creative director so he can been seen as her equal of some sort but he isn’t. I think it’s bizarre how she is so wrapped up in this guy who is clearly using her and will discard her without a care to be given once he’s gotten all he can from the relationship.
Kinda like when Britney tried to do the same with Kevin. And in the end he was nothing without her.

I think they might make a good couple. he might let her be the star and kind of call the shots. if he’s supportive and loving, he might make a good balance to her. maybe she’s headstrong and wants to be in charge and that might not work with a very masculine man. with casper, he might be more laid-back and let her control things. ya know what i’m saying?

Most 40 somethings, average or good-looking, could get a 26-year-old that looks like that in a split second, because he’s not very attractive, and keep them if you have money. J-LO is gorgeous and downgraded. She’s hot enough and rich enough to have gotten a hot 26-year-old, not a Jersey Shore look-alike. He is a nobody dancer, that she instantly elevated to choreographer and inserted him into every interview like he was a star. I read he got his own table to sign autographs at her show. LOL a dancer. At least Madonna made her boy-toy work for it and only years later put him in her show and certainly didn’t elevate him to choreographer and parade him around in interviews like he was a star.

It just goes to show how insecurity can plague the most beautiful, talented, rich people in the world. She gets into these uneven relationships, but is afraid ‘she’ isn’t going to be enough for them, or that she isn’t appealing enough on her own.
So starts giving them anything. Maybe she even tries to give/build careers for these guys in an attempt to ‘raise’ them more to ‘her level’ of experience, financial stability, ect.
I just hate that she seems so desperate. She is NOT old, but seems to be terrified that she is.
I think it was her manager Benny Medina who basically admitted this in an article once…he said he advised her to take it slow after divorcing Marc Anthony and spend some time on herself and basically admitted she is terrified of being alone. (I’m paraphrasing.)
For as hot, rich and successful as she is, she’s clearly got some issues.
