In case you missed it, X17 had photos (you can see them here) of Robert Pattinson driving his big truck off of Kristen Stewart’s LA property on Sunday. It looks like the flatbed is full of bags and boxes, and Rob is said to have taken the two dogs as well. Meaning that Rob has officially moved out!!! What does this mean?! I hope it means that he’s over it. I hope it means that he’ll spend a few months reflecting on the relationship (and perhaps having a few one night stands just to see what’s out there) before settling into a relationship with someone less grumpy and moody. For now, though, Rob has been hanging out with his bros:

The actor was “all smiles” when he stepped out at Teddy’s at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
Arriving with a group of friends just after 1 a.m., Pattinson – who wore jeans, a white T-shirt, a black leather jacket and a backwards red Indiana Hoosiers baseball cap – headed to the back of the club to relax at a corner table.
“He sat on the couch at his table and sipped on multiple vodka cocktails throughout the evening,” the source adds. “You’d never know he had just gone through a breakup. He was smiling the entire night and was in a really good mood. There wasn’t a trace of sadness on his face.”
While he was tucked away in the corner of the club, only a handful of patrons recognized him. “He spent most of the night chatting with a brunette,” the source says. “There was definitely some flirting going on but it was all just talking, there was nothing physical going on between them and they never touched each other.”
Aw. I imagine he’s probably a good bar-flirter, although he’s probably out of practice. And it’s nice to hear that he’s smiling and looking happy with his decision (?) to end things with Kristen. As for Kristen’s state of mind… well, she’s hanging out with Taylor Swift now. OH NO.

For their latest breakup, Swift is seeking comfort from a girl who definitely knows how to deal with (not to mention sing about) heartache: Taylor Swift.
PopSugar obtained pictures of Stewart, 23, flashing a smile while riding in a friend’s car heading “to another pal’s house” on Monday, May 20. A source confirms exclusively to Us Weekly that the Snow White and the Huntsman actress was on her way to visit Swift’s Beverly Hills home.
The insider tells Us that Stewart was driven by a girlfriend to the singer’s place and “spent all day” there before returning home.
A source close to Pattinson, 27, told Us on May 18 that the Twilight costars were taking a break from their four-year relationship. The two have been having ongoing problems since Stewart’s fling with Rupert Sanders, and a recent fight over Pattinson’s birthday party pushed them over the edge.
Though Stewart and Swift, 23, aren’t known to be close friends, the “Begin Again” singer is no stranger to a bad breakup having previously dated John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles and other Hollywood hunks. The two megastars also share a mutual friend in Taylor Lautner. Stewart is good pals with the 21-year-old actor, having starred alongside him in The Twilight Saga films over the past five years, and Swift dated him for three months in 2009.
On Sunday, Pattinson was photographed moving his possessions and dogs out of Stewart’s L.A. home in his pickup truck. “She tried, they both tried,” a source close to the couple tells Us.
“They’re both good people. It was just not the right thing for either of them right now.”
I didn’t even know that Kristen and Taylor even knew each other socially or otherwise. Kristen hangs out with Katy Perry and her crowd, but K-Stew and Swifty? The pothead and the princess? What’s even more surprising is that I bet Taylor can’t wait to make a move on Rob. That’s going to be true for a lot of Kristen’s friends. I know that’s harsh and all, but Rob is definitely a “catch” and there will be a lot of A-list women (not to mention the multitude of B and C-lister ladies) who want to break off a piece of Sparkledong.

That Rupert thing sounds crazy BUT you have to admit that something happened. They didn’t just drift apart and agreed to break up like adults. Something set Rob off. Something made him grow a spine, pack his crap immediately and take his dogs. This was not a pretty break up, otherwise why are we having this PR battle?
Also, we all agree that Kristen looked cozy and happy with Rupert. You know there was something there. When it’s an affair, there’s something there.

They got together when they were filming the third movie. Trust me that if this was all ~PR planned it would’ve started with the first movie. Twilight didn’t need this anyway. Those two movies that came out before they dated did really, really well and they both were creating buzz separately, especially Rob, so this was not necessary to promote the franchise that was already earning lots of money.

I feel sorry for him. I just read an interview of him for Cosmopolis. Talking about Kristen, it seems he cared a lot about her, her opinions. He said he was nervous wondering if Kristen would like his movie. He sat behind her and kept looking at her, for her reaction towards the movie. He wanted just her opinion. He was over the moon when Kristen turned around at the end of the movie and said it was amazing. Sigh… He worshipped her. But she… Ugh…
She took him for granted like she took for granted everything else: her career, her endorsment, her fans. She let success go to her head and thought she had everything because she deserved it. She thought she’d have tons of projects lined up after Twilight. You can now see that she was only cast because of Twilight, because where did all the offers go? She also treated Rob like crap because she thought she could get away with it, which she did for awhile.
@Annie, they were pushing the romance from the filming of the first movie. She had a boyfriend at the time but I remember reading an article in EW where they talking about Rob proposing to her daily, how completely over the moon he was for her and how it was really just a matter of time until she dumped her boyfriend for Rob. That’s why I’ve never believed this relationship was real from the start. It may have developed into something real, then she cheated, but there was a contract so he couldn’t just walk away. That’s my theory at least.
I’d love to see RP and Jennifer Lawrence get together. She’d snag the Oscar and Sparkles. Kristen can fade into oblivion with Rupert.

Although i dont like kstew much she was totally the more famous one when they got together. robert was virtually unknown before twilight. the twilight films were the real phenomena. Both kstew and robert benefitted greatly from the movies and from their “it couple” status. Lets not rewrite history.
Kristen was definitely more famous b/f Twilight. But Rob was clearly the massive break-out star at the time, and had far more attention 2008-2012, so it could be argued he raised her profile that way.
Kristen was more famous than Rob before Twilight but in 2008, even before the movie came out, almost the attention was on him. I remembered an interview on Today Show or something in 2008 or 2009, when R and K came out to meet fans, they barely glanced her way, I even felt sorry for her. Time Magazine named him as one of 2010’s 100 Most Influential People in The World. Her popularity surely rose due to her association with Rob and of course her PR team’s efforts to make her into an IT girl in 2011-2012. They’re at the same level of fame now but I think that’s how it started.
Re the A list thing, I think Rob gets A list status for his international stardom. He does have a big name internationally that financiers still like.
Pattinson is in no way A-list. Nor is Stewart. Wake me up when they win an Oscar or have a hit movie outside of Twilight.

Here, folks comment a lot about whether Rob is hot/was hot//was ever hot. I am thinking HAIR can be as important for men as women. IMO Rob was hotter with his long floppy bronze highlighted hair of early days. It softened and balanced the strange awkward shovel face planes of his face. I think that went on for so long because a lot of women identified too much with Jen A, and she lost her man to this sex goddess and they couldn’t get over it. For Rob, as far as we know, there’s no third party involved, there’s no one else… Kristen lost her man for legitimate reasons. Kaiser, A list is someone who can open a movie. Oscar, golden globe contender and so on. Neither sparkles or MissMaclipbite are A-listers. And i really dont think there are many A- list women who would go after sparkles. Am sure he will be sought after by younger starlets who havent quite made it though.

That piece took Lainey two days…and that’s sad. She will always be Team K and dislikes Rob with a passion. The fact that she has to resort to old, made up rumours of Rob ‘cheating’ in Toronto speaks volumes.
Rob’s of course not a saint. He might have been flirting up a storm when he was still single. Bedded half of Hollywood for all I care. All good. But you just have to look at pics of him and Kristen in earlier days to see that he worshipped the ground she walked on. And he’s not that good of an actor…No such looks and photo’s after Rupertgate anymore.
Fact is that Kristen cheated on him, not just a rumour. The entire world saw this. And he still wanted to give it a try. He tried. So yeah, a strong case you got there Lainey.
And this scenario even works if you believe that it was just PR-sten. Even if you believe they were just v. close friends. Because they sure are not friends anymore. At least not atm.
So nice try Lainey, but some of us have longer memories and have been reading your site for years. You were always going on about how ‘tight’ they were. There was not once a peep about cheating or whatsoever. So it’s a bit too late to air out Rob’s dirty laundry now.
I’ve been reading laineyg for years and she always said they were dramatic in terms of their relationship- close but volatile. And that the edward/bella image was inaccurate, and she always made overtures to the fact that they may have a looser arrangement than twihards realized. She’s not saying Rob cheated-cause she’s saying both had an open arrangement. But maybe that arrangement brought out commitment and insecurity issues.
Open relationships are more the norm than the exception in movie and music industry, brought on in part by the sheer fact you aren’t with your partner for large amounts of time. My own sister dated a dude in a band, they were engaged, were monogamous when he was home, open when he was gone. Maybe where kristen messed up was letting a set fling blur into her home life time. Who knows? Or maybe it was more that she was sloppy. Shrugs
Open relationships are not the norm in HW, anyone who believes they are is being sold a con by their bf and is being gullible if they buy it. Sure some people have open relationships but it’s not that common and high profile people are far less likely to want to open themselves up to a bunch of hassle and potential scandal juggling lovers.
I think Lainey’s version sounds realistic–open relationship that brought problems, immaturity on both sides, particularly Kristen who could go down the lindsay road if she isn’t careful. Both party hard, but with different but equally shady groups. She’s not driven enough.
I’m sure it’s a lot more complicated and lame and embarrassing than whatever People gives us. lol I’m team Rob and think KRisten’s an ahole for cheating with a married father, but to think he’s been putting his jewels in a lockbox for months at a time while on location is naive at best. Open relationship always made the most sense, as did her acting out all passive aggressively in public,cause she doesn’t know how to keep her shit down low more properly like Rob can.
@Nina – I think Lainey’s got zero credibility on this one. It’s too little, too late. She was always going on about how close and strong they were. She’s now just backpedalling because there’s no other option. Of course Rob’s not a saint, I doubt the open relationship though. I really do. And those rumours of him cheating are just that, rumours. Where are those one night random Toronto locals? He did this several times and not one sold him out? Okay…
K did actually cheat. Everybody saw that. So it’s rumours vs fact.
it’s not cheating if you’re in an open arrangement, that’s the point. I don’t think it’s about credibility or if lainey has some great sources either, Rob and Kristen seemed tight when they were physically in the same place, but when they’d go off to shoot, they didn’t follow one another either. It points to either an on-off situation or an open relationship to me. You can be close and not be exclusive is my take.

Of course he isn’t perfect and probably was a sh_tty boyfriend at times (like everyone is sometimes), but knowing how paranoid he is, I don’t buy that he cheated on her. You really think it’s possible that he had these random Toronto hookups and not one of those girls got her story in a tabloid? I don’t get why Lainey brought all that up today, 2 yrs after the Toronto summer. Wouldn’t that have been more relevant to cover in 2011?

I buy an open relationsip based on the fact that when they were physically in the same place, they seemed together. But when they weren’t phsyically in the same place, they didn’t seem together. Either an on-off thing or an open thing. Some see prmance, which is fine. But if they start taking shots at eachother in the press from here on out instead of letting this all fade away, I think it points more to a messy relationship than an showmance. Showmances are handled much more neatly.
Well Aname, isn’t Lainey on Kristen’s publicist pay roll? She needs to make this whole thing his fault while she is just the missunderstood party that just didn’t want to expose his previous indiscretions. Notice how Lainey also makes a point to highlight how nobody questioned at the time why K cheated, hinting again is all Rob’s fault. Pretty low in my book but not suprising considering is Lainey after all.

Diana-I’m team Rob on this issue, but I’m not sure how lainey makes him look like the bad guy. She gives a less cartoonish version where frankly with other accounts only make rob look like a huge pussy. At least in this scenario, Rob looks like someone whose not being pushed around by a sullen teenaged girl-the issue here is that they had an open relationship that didn’t end up working after awhile. The end. We all know he parties, we all know he’s not a saint, she’s not shedding any new light here. The difference in her story is that they had a discreet but open arrangement that frankly kristen didn’t honor well enough and things have been going south for awhile. that paints rob in a much better light than some doormat who lets this she-devil person push him around constantly. Many Rob fans infantilize him to absolve him of all guilt, but it only makes him look more ridiculous given the fact he’s heading towards 30 and seems capable of handling his business — while giving kristen WAY more credit than she deserves in terms of villainous prowess.
aname-you’re totally right, I have no clue. lol I am a huge rob fan who reads posts here and sometimes on lainey about him so my take is faulty and completely a stab in the dark. I’m just looking at probability here with their ages, professions, and celebrity mainly. I don’t buy they hate eachother and are under contract. That leaves a close mutual beardship or relationship really. I then go with relationship, and then entertain that an open relationship may explain other factors. And it’s all a stab. lol 🙂
You’d be surprised what celebrities can get away with in private. Not everything ends up on Twitter.
@Shelly,you know,Cosmopolis was such a big budget production(20 MILLIONS),so they were affraid of the studio actions.The paparazzi were all over the place,that I worried that I have seen all the movie already.Why the paparazzi didn’t catch him with those ”randoms”,of course it wasn’t Caitlin Cronenberg lol It really amazed me,when woman cheat,it means there was a reason,but if man do it,he’s a bastard.I Wonder when J.James cheaten on Sandra Bullock,it was her fault and she drove him to cheating.Of course Rob is a sensitive guy,other man after such a public humiliation would have beaten her up and we would see her ”beautiful”face a la Rihanna.And of course L.forgot about Liberty Ross and her children,maybe she also drove Kristen to cheating lol.
Nina, perhaps I’m not reading her like you do, and if, to me, she was painting that kind of picture -that it was an open relationship gone awry- then I would not have mind it, although I don’t agree with that assesment. The thing is, and I repeat here, For me, she isn’t doing that at all. What I read from her is that Rob had also cheated numberous times in the past -even though there is not a shred of evidence of it anywhere- and that K had valid reasons to cheat that no one questioned and now after K has tried so hard to meet his standards he just gave her the boot and is now playing the media to his favour like an evil mind. That’s how I read it and I will never agree with her thrashing Rob for the sake of the unsaveable reputation of Kristen Stewart.
@Nina . That isnt entirely accurate. Rob did visit Kristen on the snow white set. It was only after the cheating he allegedly asked that she not come visit him.
Weren’t they apart months at a time? I seem to remember when Stewart was in England filming SWATH, Pattinson flew out to see her for a week here and there but for the most part stayed in LA.
And when he was on location, she’d visit for a few days and then go home.
Seemed like they were away from each other a lot, voluntarily, and that’s just unusual. If they were open then it would make a lot of sense that they wouldn’t require each other to live on location and a casual visit here or there while they did other things wouldn’t be a big deal.
The open relationship idea seems to be pretty silly to me but I guess people want to grasp at straws for some reason. As actors they would always expect to be separated because of their work. Movies are often made on location and that makes it long distance not open.
Does this mean we’ll be hearing vampire songs on Swifty next album cause KS is spilling the beans now? *snort*

I think this started off as a suggested PR relationship. They went along with it, became close friends but not really lovers, and she ruined it when she was caught with Rupert. He probably felt betrayed because his FRIEND had no consideration for him whatsoever. Maybe they had an agreement that any side pieces would be known to each other? Maybe he felt that friends wouldn’t do each other dirty like that. And hey, I don’t blame him for being mad. I was in a similar situation (minus the PR part) and I was more upset that he threw away our intimate, open friendship than that he screwed around with someone else.
It makes no sense as a PR relationship. I cannot stress enough that the studio would never be able to force a teenage girl into a faux romance for PR purposes. I’m amazed so many people put this forward without thinking about it. The relationship has been bad news for the franchise from the beginning, no way the studio wanted it, and it blew up at a bad time for the franchise, why would they want that?
I’m sorry but I think both Pattinson and Stewart are over rated as actors. Just never got the hype about either. She’s a one act pony and he’s a try too hard to be relevant “English” actor who plays the same role over and over. Every movie I’ve seen him in, I’m sorry I wasted my time. And, if they can’t act, at least I need them to be eye candy and he has the sex appeal of tofu!
