CB usually covers Aaron Paul (because she adores him!), but it’s a quiet Memorial Day so I’ll just cover this news and dedicate to my homegirl. Aaron had been with Lauren Paresekian for a while, and they got married yesterday in Malibu. They had a surprisingly long engagement – they’ve been engaged since January 2012 (that’s a long engagement in Hollywood). Lauren is described as “the co-CEO of Finding Kind Productions” AND as an “activist” which doesn’t mean much to me. Whenever I see them at an awards show, on a red carpet… I don’t know, their vibe seems slightly weird. He seems REALLY into her and she seems to like him okay. Maybe she just gets nervous on red carpets? Ha. Look at her. She loves the cameras!

Aaron Paul and Lauren Parsekian are officially married – and there’s nothing bad about it.

The Breaking Bad star, 33, married activist Parsekian Sunday in Malibu, reps confirm to PEOPLE exclusively.

The gallant groom was all about the romance last year when he explained to PEOPLE how he proposed to Parsekian in sweet style in Paris after initially meeting at the Coachella music festival.

“It’s this little courtyard outside of this hotel. We were just dancing to Édith Piaf by ourselves on New Year’s and then I begged her to marry me,” he said.

“She’s the greatest woman that has ever existed,” he adoringly told GQ last year. “No offense to other women on this planet, but she is hands down the best.”

The duo both sported that glow in Vegas last weekend, when they did some pre-wedding partying with a large group of friends.

“Aaron rocked a bow tie, and Lauren donned a veil,” an onlooker told PEOPLE. “The lovebirds were dancing and canoodling.”

The event included a nod to their dreamy engagement when they received his-and-her cakes. The groom’s cake was designed to look like steps on the Parisian street where Paul proposed and included a special message, “My pretty bird, thank you for loving me.”

Us Weekly had some more details about the wedding… let’s see: Bryan Cranston was a groomsman! Which is amazing. The bride wore a “strapless Cinderella style gown and white boots” while the bridesmaids wore cream. The reception was “masquerade” themed and people were instructed to wear masks. Us Weekly says a lot of Aaron’s Breaking Bad costars came as well as some of Aaron’s friends from Mad Men, and Dita Von Teese was there!!!!

Anyway, congrats to Aaron and Lauren. I hope they will be very happy for a long time.
