    Poor girl..

    • Kelly says:

I was thinking the same thing.

    • Liv says:

Hard enough to be a teenager, but also be a member of this family? And not even know who your real parents are? I really feel for her.

      • gg says:

She knows who her parents are. Michael Jackson was her dad and Debbie Rowe is her mom. The fact that she doesn’t know who her bio dad is may not even be a factor in this.

  2. ladybert62 says:

A repeat suicide attempt? Oh my gosh, what is wrong and why is she so unhappy. I hope she gets some therapy to help her.

    • Veritas says:

She longs for her real daddy.

      • jaye says:

Her “real” dad passed away in 2009. He raised her, he’s her real dad.

      • apsutter says:

This is a disgusting f*cking comment. It doesn’t matter if he was biologically her father he raised her. And by all accounts he was an incredibly involved and loving dad.

      • Janel says:

Let’s get with the program! What is with this “real” dad business? Michael Jackson is her father. The end. While I have the floor, I am sick of people saying, “She is adopted.” Wrong. She was adopted. A one time event. Why is there a bias against adoption? Families are formed in many ways. Teach your kids. End the ignorance.

    • jensational says:

what’s wrong is that this poor girl’s father died and his fucked up, money-hungry, fame whore family used her and her siblings to make some money and did all the things MJ spent their short lives protecting them from. To go from a structured, private world and then be thrown out in the Hollywood wilderness would screw up even the strongest person. Poor girl. I hope she’s ok.

      • Decloo says:

I don’t think their “structured, private” world with their father was too healthy. You are bound to have issues if you are told you need to wear masks out in public for protection. I think it’s much healthier now that they are normal teenagers who go to school with their peers. Clearly, their early unconventional upbringing has left them with many questions and issues. It’s probably a great relief for her to have her biological mother to turn to when she’s never had a mother figure.

      • jwoolman says:

The masks worked. Nobody knew what they looked like, so they could walk around in Europe at least without being bothered. Apparently the masks were Debbie Rowe’s idea, she was worried after some kidnapping threats. The kids weren’t as isolated as people assumed, they just were protected from the media. MJ was loosening up about it well before he died.

Look at this story here- a 15 year old kid is having problems, may be suicidal, and it’s all over the tabloids. I caught the first part of E News and not only were they blathering on about it with faje concern, they even showed odd videos she made. Really. If your 15 year old was having such problems, is that what you would want? She’s not an adult who has chosen to live in the public eye. There should be some limits.

    • Dubois says:

There was a blind on CDAN that was largely guessed to be her. An uncle hitting on her, taking her to buy bras, putting her up in a hotel. Basically “grooming” her. I can’t link tit from work.

      • Veronica says:

The reason why they wore masks out when they were with MJ was so that when they went out with their nanny they could walk about and just be normal kids. Do normal kid things and not be recognized. While it does seem strange it actually seems pretty smart to me. MJ didn’t have a normal childhood and was swarmed everywhere he went. Kids just need to be kids.

    • FLORC says:

      Dubois

Not saying this is true, but I wouldn’t doubt it… Sad thing is Michael was probably all that stood to protect those kids from having the ruined childhood he had. His brothers show nothing, but the worst traits! All greedy, self involved, megalomaniacs and they’ve already tried to steal those kids inheritance for themselves. The whole thing makes me sick and I hope she surrounds herself with the right people.
And shame on her biological mother for telling the outlets! The last thing this girl needs is more eyes on her.

  3. JL says:

Poor child, mother gave her up, father died, no MJs wrongful death trail, new allegations of sexual abuse and pedophilia and a dysfunctional family.

I wish people would think of the impact of their actions on kids before worrying over money and fame.

She seems like a nice young lady, I hope she’s OK.

    • Andrea says:

Totally agree with you. Poor thing …. Wish for her some normalcy. No fame, no court, no mother talking to reports. I wish her the best.

      • Thora says:

I found the beautification of MJ by the media after his death quite disturbing given how hard the media tried to vilify him prior to his death.

    • Kiddo says:

      Wait, what new allegations?

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

Same guy who was a key witness in defense of MJ allegations is now saying that he lied in Jackson’s defense and that he was molested by MJ.

        http://www.vindy.com/news/2013/may/16/new-allegation-child-molestation-against-michael-j/?nw

      • Kiddo says:

        @TheOriginalKitten, I couldn’t reply directly to you.

        Thank you for answering.

I hope nothing happened to his kids in their early childhood.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

        Me too, Kiddo.

I never know what to think about Jackson..I guess I tend to err on the side of thinking he was just very damaged and misunderstood but I’m not committed to that stance and I kind of waver on the molestation thing.
Ultimately, I could never decide whether his odd behavior was due to him being robbed of a normal childhood or if he really was a dangerous pedo….I really don’t know…

But yeah, the first thing I thought when I read this headline was “oh my god, what if Paris is damaged because of her dad?”
..and I kind of hate myself for speculating ya know? Poor girl has enough to deal with…

      • Kiddo says:

I don’t think you should feel guilty. I know the diehard fans will go nuts over this, but, there was something very wrong with him. He was a talented song writer and performer, but some tend to romanticize him. It wasn’t normal or healthy or good for an adult man to hang out with children and share his bed with them. That wasn’t healthy for his children to be around. Nor was it healthy for his children to be around someone who was that F*ed up, most of the time, on drugs. Yes, he had a crappy childhood, but the behaviors shouldn’t be excused just because he was a star, even if there was no pedophilia going on. The whole thing was so twisted, I wouldn’t be shocked if it were true. Also, if his kids were priority number one, he would’ve gone for help and not risked his life, ultimately losing it, for the pleasure of propofol. I know that sounds harsh, but he then leaves their care to the very people who caused him harm. How much was he really thinking about them, versus himself?

    • Tiffany :) says:

JL, are you saying that Wade Robson should have considered MJ’s kids before bringing his allegations of abuse to light? I don’t know if I agree with that.

      • pwal says:

No… he shouldn’t have to couch himself… if he’s telling the truth. Personally, I don’t think he is, mainly because he made a provocative comment like ‘You haven’t heard nothing yet’. Like he’s ‘teasing’ details about his molestation. As a molestation victim, that statement raised red flags because for me, there was no moment during my disclosure and eventual recovery/maintenance from it would I use instances of it as an attention grab.

        JMO.

      • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

I always believed he was a pedophile. I’m not certain if I’m remembering this right, but didn’t Corey haim’s relationship end with Corey Feldman over Feldman continuing to interact with Haim’s molestor (which he hinted at being Jackson)? I believe he molested both Haim and Mackauley Culkin (who both had/have severe drug issues that could have been the result of their trauma).

      • pwal says:

Actually, Haim went on Fox News and said that MJ wasn’t the culprit. Plus, Haim said that he met MJ when Haim was in his 20s.

        http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,529264,00.html

VAN SUSTEREN: How did you meet Michael Jackson?

HAIM: Through Corey Feldman, and then through Steven Spielberg.

VAN SUSTEREN: How old were you when you were at Neverland?

HAIM: I was at Neverland eight, nine, some odd years ago, when he was going through the thing with the kid. And I even said to him then, are you are right with this kid thing? He said, yes, I am fine.

He was one of the smartest, sweetest guys I have ever met in my life. And there are a lot of these weird allegations going around about like, people saw my show and somehow they think I got molested when I was a kid by Michael Jackson.

And I really want to throw it out there, that never happened.

        VAN SUSTEREN: Never happened?

HAIM: No. and I’m sure you were going to ask me the same thing.

VAN SUSTEREN: I actually wasn’t going, no I wasn’t going to ask you.

HAIM: Good, because it’s just so — I met the guy once in my whole life.

As for Culkin, I don’t know what is going on with him. Maybe he was molested; maybe residual things from his childhood/family life is still bothering him, and then there was the death of his sister by a hit and run. But if he was molested by MJ, the smirky tone passing for comedic edge, likely didn’t help matters.

      • Tiffany :) says:

pwal, I think that Wade was saying that the details haven’t been released because they will come out through legal proceedings (aka you haven’t heard the full story yet).

I am not dead set on either side of the story, but there was a housekeeper that had previously testified that she saw MJ in the shower with Wade. I know that Wade has a son that is now getting to the age Wade was when he started staying with MJ. I do think it is possible that Wade is being truthful…It is also possible he isn’t.

      • pwal says:

Actually, I got the impression that Wade’s son is an infant.

For many years, I’ve been conflicted about the molestation allegations and MJ. On one hand, as a former victim, I want allegations to be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly; on the other, the allegations against MJ always seem to come when some sort of separation (usually employment) occurred. For example, I believe the maid you referenced in your post, was fired after it was discovered that she stole from MJ.

With Wade, I have a major problem with the absence of guilt, whether misplaced or not. He testified twice in court that he wasn’t molested; one of boys was his supposed contemporary; the other was shady, for lack of a better word. Where is his guilt toward the first kid? Children are notorious for taking on guilt and remorse when they knowingly lied about something that compromised someone else. It’s just not there, and sorry, no amount of therapy can erase that guilt.

        JMO.

      • Tiffany :) says:

Re: Wade’s son, from the UK Daily Mail.

“He said having his own child two years ago made him face up to the truth, as he said he couldn’t help thinking about how he’d feel if a stranger molested his little boy.

‘I’m a father and I became a father two and a half years ago to this beautiful baby boy and during the first 18 months of his life I collapsed into two nervous breakdowns, terrifying nervous breakdowns,’ he told Lauer.

‘At that point, I had no idea what was going on. And for the first time in my life, I began to realize that my completely numb and unexplored feelings about what Michael did to me might be a problem and maybe I need to speak to somebody about it.”

      • Tiffany :) says:

“on the other, the allegations against MJ always seem to come when some sort of separation (usually employment) occurred”

That is kind of a tricky thing. It could be disgruntled employee revenge, as that happens all the time. However, employees would be the people who would have the most opportunity to witness a crime and it is easy to invent reasons to fire people.

I used to know a guy whose father was a landscape architect who worked at Neverland, and he said that one day MJ was supposed to be out of town so his dad took him to Neverland. They were in a part of the massive yard and MJ took them by surprise and showed up. His father made him hide in the backseat of his car when he saw Michael coming down the road. He said his dad was deeply and sincerely fearful in a way he had never seen before. His Dad later told him that he had suspicions, and never wanted MJ to know that he had a young blonde son.

Once again, circumstantial. I don’t know what to think, and I go back and forth all the time! It is hard to valuate the claims of former employees sometimes.

      • jwoolman says:

Well, he should have thought first about the kids before lying to get a payday. Just look at his interviews and read/listen to body language and statement language experts. His body language screams liar liar pants on fire and so do the words he chooses.

Just being accused of such actions is enough to destroy an innocent person, because many people will assume it must be true. I’ve looked at the few accusers (in particular, their parents) and it all is so obviously shady. I have never seen a credible accusation. Children are extremely susceptible to implantation of false memories, and those few cases involve parents for whom evidence points to them doing just that for a payoff. Add that to a prosecutor out to make a name for himself (we had one of those, he ended up in jail himself), you have a recipe for devastating false accusations. Michael Jackson was eccentric, but it is highly unlikely that he was a pedophile. The court wasn’t convinced, either. Real pedophilia cases develop very differently, and no parent would settle for money. Parents of real victims are out for blood. They want justice, not money.

      • Nina W says:

As someone who grew up in that neck of the woods, many of the people who live in the Santa Ynez Valley are extremely conservative and they give the side eye to all things Hollywood related so I don’t take the landscaper thing seriously. Also MJ was severely abused by his father who is a horrible man and he never recovered from it. He was a strange man but I don’t believe his accusers, they haven’t seemed credible to me.

  4. Amelia says:

Best wishes to her. I can’t imagine the pain she must be in to attempt this.

  5. Hubbahun says:

🙁 so so sad – hope she’s okay and gets the help she needs.

  6. Ag says:

Sad. I hope she gets help.

  7. eileen says:

I really feel bad for her. She seems like such a sweetheart. I hate that she has that much internal pain and then its out there for the world to know as well. Poor thing.

  8. Mirella says:

    That’s awful! I hope she’s ok 🙁

  9. Legal Annie says:

Sad. I hope she gets the helps she needs to overcome the desire to end her life.

  10. Nicolette says:

A repeat suicide attempt? When was the first? She looks so happy all the time and had just reconnected with her Mom. So sorry to hear this. My Mom and I were just saying the other day how pretty she is. I hope she gets the help she needs.

    • Adrien says:

There’s a photo of her with self mutilation marks on her wrists. Yep, that photo above with her wearing a camo and Cobain shirt, look for it somewhere on TMZ. The tabs caught that, that’s a scream for help right there.

  11. Jayna says:

Aw. She’s a good kid, very sweet. This is very sad. Teenage years can be so confusing emotionally. I hope it was just a cry for help. I loved her brown hair and eyes and skin color. So pretty. Then she goes and has to want to be different and edgy.

I remember a year and a half ago or so when those videos leaked online of her and one of her cousins and Blanket all clowning around at home and singing to the computer and thinking she’s just a normal kid at home. I was even shocked to see Blanket very animated and talking and cutting up. I was beginning to think he had some disorder, but I guess he is just mute in public settings that overwhelm him.

  12. Badirene says:

Hope she is ok and gets the help she needs.

Hope that CDAN blind item from yesterday is not about her, she was the popular guess and now this.

    • brin says:

      I thought the same.

    • UghInsomnia says:

      What was the blind?

    • Jayna says:

      What was the blind item?

      • pantalones de fuego says:

The blind said something to the effect of a teen being forced into a reunion due to unwanted advances from an uncle. Paris seemed to be the popular guess. Very sad.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

        Holy sh*t. That is awful..

    • Talie says:

YES! I thought the same… I hope she speaks up, if true.

    • A says:

      What was the blind about?

Oops never mind. Someone already answered!

    • Mich says:

Just read the blind. OMG. If true, how horrible. This poor girl.

    • Badirene says:

Sorry everyone for not being clear, the blind says that she is only in contact with her mother to get away from an uncle that is making unwanted advances to her including overnight stays in hotels and bringing her underwear shopping. It made my skin crawl to read it and I am kind of hoping that it is bs.

Whatever the truth is it seems that their is nobody these poor kids can really trust to protect them.

Edit: Just wanted to add that I fully expect her family to spin this to get control of any estate/money she has access to now or in the future Britney Spears style.

      • Tiffany :) says:

“I fully expect her family to spin this to get control of any estate/money she has access to now or in the future Britney Spears style.”

1.) OMG, good point, I hope that doesn’t happen!

2.) Shhhhh! Don’t give the Jackson’s any ideas! They would do anything for a cash grab! (Did anyone notice that LaToya’s “talent agency” is repping Prince?)

      • Just Me says:

Ok, first of all – it’s absolute bullshit that this is a blind item. If someone has concrete knowledge of that, it needs to be reported to authorities. NOT to a @#$# gossip columnist. Second of all, the gossip columnist should have some freakin decency and not post that crap online. I hope he feels like shit now. She’s a CHILD. You don’t play with childrens lives and for God’s sake, you don’t post stuff like that online. Certainly all of her friends read it. I’m sure she probably read it too. All at the emotional maturity of what? 15? Take some effin responsibility & grill your tipster and make an anonymous call if they won’t do it. Child abuse is not tabloid fodder and it’s not for entertainment. I’ve only been to this ENTY site a handful of times, but I swear to Dog, I will NEVER go there again. There is no good intent in posting this kind of stuff online.

Can I adopt this kid? Dear God it breaks my heart when babies hurt so bad they want to hurt themselves. They’ve got their whole lives to feel the hurt and pain of the real world. They shouldn’t be feeling this much pain so young. I just want to hug this girl.

      • lucy2 says:

Just Me – I agree. Stuff like that should not be posted about kids. If untrue, it’s just gross to make it up, and if it is true, it needs to be reported immediately to the authorities, CPS, whatever. Even suspected abusive – let a trained professional make the determination.

      • Tiffany :) says:

“it’s absolute bullshit that this is a blind item. If someone has concrete knowledge of that, it needs to be reported to authorities.”

        AMEN!

      • Shannon1972 says:

@Just Me: agree 1000%. This poor girl just breaks my heart.
I have never read anything so despicable as that blind item. That child (whoever it is) needs to be rescued and protected, not gossiped about for supposed entertainment. CDAN crossed way over the line…

      • nico says:

@Just Me: agree 1000%. This poor girl just breaks my heart.

        Agree w/you and Just Me.

People need to stop supporting CDAN. It is nothing but trash.

  13. Christin says:

She seems so sweet and grounded. My best to her. This is sad to hear.

  14. F5 says:

Poor kid with that family from hell.
Hope she recovers in every way.

  15. brin says:

    That poor girl.

  16. lucy2 says:

I hope Paris is OK, and that everyone gives her a little privacy. Poor kid has been through a lot.

On a lighter note, who the hell keeps hiring Justin Timberlake as an actor? He’s terrible.

  17. boo says:

Sad news, if it’s true. She’s a lovely girl, I hope she seeks help.

  18. Marty says:

All the best to Paris, you can’t help what you’re born into.

I KNEW it had been too long since some CHarms family photo ops(over a month). He looks super happy about it too.

At this point, Peter Dinklage family photos>Chris Hemsworth family photos.

  19. marie says:

I’m sorry to hear that, poor girl. I hope she gets the help she needs.

  20. Tara says:

Andy Samberg has been a rapper for a while, he has a group called the Lonely Island with Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer who are writers on SNL. Their songs are pretty hilarious.

    • NerdMomma says:

Whoop, I was just saying the same 🙂

    • L says:

Yea, Andy Sandberg has been a rapper for years. ‘Lazy Sunday’ was his first big thing on SNL (jeez-was that really 9 years ago?)
      http://www.hulu.com/watch/1397
Plus it’s a comedy album, he and the lonely island guys are clearly poking fun. He spells out that his ‘new’ rap name is “Dude that has sex with pigs for money, but only as a side thing right now, I’m just short on cash and have irons in the fire but in this economy it’ll have to do. My name is Lenny.” after all. 😀

    • Veritas says:

No those wannabes are just awful. And I curse SNL for subjecting us to that auto-tuned crap.

  21. NerdMomma says:

Regarding another link- don’t pass on Andy Samberg! It’s Lonely Island, and they’ve been around for a long time, this isn’t new. They just do hilarious rap songs- they were behind a lot of the best SNL digital shorts. He is in no way trying to be a “serious rapper”

    • Erinn says:

I find it hilarious if anyone thinks he’s serious.

Lonely Island was getting pretty popular when I was still in first year of University… and they had a bunch of stuff out at that point.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

I know! Lonely Island is a sketch comedy troupe that has been around since ’05.

Personally, I think they’re incredibly funny and talented.

  22. miffy says:

    Poor thing 🙁

  23. Eleonor says:

I bet whatever you want the Jackson Family is involved in some shady way.
I hope she gets better, most of all I hope she and her brothers can move FAR AWAY from the Jackson clan.

It’s so sad this kids can’t trust anyone, because all persons around them wants their money.

    • Jen34 says:

I agree that Jackson clan is no good. Those poor, poor children. Is there nobody connected to those children that doesn’t have dollar signs in their eyes?

    • Nina W says:

Diana Ross deferred to the children’s wishes to live with their grandmother and cousin as co-custodians, it’s not like she just abandoned them.

  24. Debbie says:

My heart just breaks for michael’s kids it just does. He loved them so much and wanted for them to have the best private lives possible and he does and that family gets their hands on them and throws all that out the window.

That joe Jackson and co destroyed micheal’s life and now they are after his children makes me so angry!!!

Michael is rolling over in his grave, and I hope she gets better. Poor thing.

  25. Haolebunny says:

Poor sweet girl. I hope she is okay. Personally, I don’t want to read anymore about this because she needs privacy to get the help she needs.

  26. BooBooLaRue says:

Oh sad story. Hope she gets the help she needs and thrives.

  27. april says:

Very sad. She’s probably really missing her dad when the going gets tough. Wish her well.

    • Kim1 says:

This month is Father’s Day,4 yr anniversary of dad’s death, she has to testify in trial…Debbie Rowe just told ET that it was suicide attempt instead of protecting Paris privacy.Pathetic

      • Veritas says:

Debbie’s version of the truth is pretty awful.

      • Samtha says:

It’s really sad that she would say anything other than “no comment.” These kids really don’t have anyone protecting them.

  28. Merritt says:

I really feel bad for her. Most her life she was only seen publicly with a mask on her face. Then her father passed away and she was thrust into the spotlight. There is so much drama in the Jackson family, it must be highly stressful.

    • Kiddo says:

I imagine it was no day at the beach being holed up with a drugged out father who had emotional/mental issues, either.

But the parents helped make Michael the mess that he was. I wonder if she can catch a break. I hope so.

      • Merritt says:

No question of that life with MJ must have been nuts. But all the craziness of his family after death has been ridiculous.

Are there any relatively stable members of that family?

Given that Debbie Rowe is talking to the media about this, that does not seem to be a good place for the kids.

      • jwoolman says:

It’s worth remembering that he wasn’t a recreational drug user. He had severe physical pain from accidents and his skin disorder can be painful (in addition to obvious psychic pain, especially for a performer; bleaching the skin is a common way of dealing with the disease once the depigmented patches become the majority). He had a serious sleep disorder and was desperate for sleep. It’s unfortunate that he chose to self-medicate rather than being under the care of a medical team. There has been a lot of progress in pain management in particular. If, instead of hiring an incompetent doctor who would get him whatever MJ thought would work, MJ had a competent pain management and sleep disorder team– he would be alive today.

  29. Summer says:

I hope this isn’t true. very sad.

  30. Faye says:

Poor Paris. I guess this is a little hypocritical of me, since I’m reading this too, but I really hate that she has to have this publicized. I would imagine that working through mental or emotional health issues when TMZ is posting blow-ups of your wrist scars makes it that much worse. I hope she gets help and recovers.

  31. Reece says:

    Poor girl.
I kind of hope when Prince Michael turns 18 he takes his sis and bro and gets the hell outta that family.

  32. Noodles says:

What this poor child needs is PRIVACY. Well, that and someone who obviously gives a crap about her.

While Michael might have been a whacko– he did his very best to protect his children. The homeschooling and masks and all make a lot more sense now– they were able to lead private lives up until his death. Nobody really knew who they were.

Now they have Twitter and papparazzi and crazy family members. Could you imagine LaToya (or however you spell it) guiding you through puberty?

Please. SOMEBODY step forward for these kids!

    • Lulu says:

Say what you will, but I think the masks must have been traumatizing. And it is looking like Jackson might of been a pedophile. These kids went out of the frying pan into the fire when MJ died.

      • Kim1 says:

The masks allowed them to normal things like go to movies, parks, bowling without Michael because the public didn’t know what they looked like. I saw a pic of Kathy Hilton and the kids taken about seven years ago .They were shopping and nobody knew they were Michael’s kids.

      • Noodle says:

I used to think they were weird, too. Okay– I still do. But, I guess, once I’ve seen how much these children have been followed now that they are “public” personas…I can see why he did it.

I swear Paris spoke of the veils publicly once and how she understood why he did it.

I’m not talking about the drugs/pedophilia/whatever in his life– because I’m sure that was crazy– but I can understand his desire to try to keep them under cover.

      • Eleonor says:

I am no MJ fan, I think he had his issues (I am no capable of entering in the details), but I must admit he did a great job in raising those kids: he gave them the quite childhood he didn’t have, and when they’ve started to talk to the media they came out as intelligent, polite and well educated teen. I’ve checked Paris twitter sometimes, and she seems such a normal sweet teenager, so different from other celebrities children. I wish her the best.

      • Lulu says:

I know why he did it, but I still think it was just another misguided attempt of parenting. Remember when dangled poor Blanket off the balconey? The man was not right and once again, the children suffer. Because he just HAD to have kids, but couldn’t even stick around for them.

    • DivaDC says:

WHY did her ‘mother’ feel the need to talk to the tabloids five minutes later about her alleged suicide attempt? She couldn’t keep her mouth shut for even 24 hours.

They’re all such pathetic, attention-whore losers. Poor girl.

    • mia says:

I wondered about her privacy. In Germany (where I live) there is an agreement with the press that states they won’t report on suicides or suicide attempts..no matter if the person is famous or not. Right now this seems even more reasonable than before…

  33. crazymary says:

I actually follow Paris on Twitter because she is just so normal. Very grounded despite the crazy drama that is her life and family. Constantly tweeting pics of her nails, her cheer leading or quotes from Harry Potter books. Just normal teen stuff.

I love following her. I’m so sad right now. She must be in serious pain to attempt this.

  34. d says:

I can’t help it; I think that whole family is shady and the children are suffering for it. That trial was a bad idea and Katherine Jackson is no saint, I’m sorry.
People are saying money is the root of all evil, it’s not. The saying is “The LOVE OF money is the root of all evil”.
Albert Camus had a saying about money: “It is a kind of spiritual snobbery that makes people think they can be happy without money.” Face it, we need a certain amount of money get beyond living to survive. Living in poverty is no fun.
But here’s another saying: “Wealth is achieved through wise planning, hard work, diligent effort, and lots of patience. Don’t be fooled into get-rich-quick schemes.”
…hmmm, who do we know that knows very little about hard work and diligent effort?
    Here’s another:
“A greedy person tries to get rich quick, but it only leads to poverty.” Proverbs 28:22.
Not that I’m religious or anything.

    • Eleonor says:

Catherine Jackson hasn’t protected Michael, and even if she wasn’t old, she wouldn’t protect the children.

  35. LahdidahBaby says:

Debbie Rowe, shame on you for telling ET your daughter’s tragic private business. >:-(

    • Haolebunny says:

+1 Shame on Debbie Rowe. You’d think part of the “repairing our relationship” would include “give my daughter privacy to deal with her issues”

    • DivaDC says:

      + 1000.

    • littlestar says:

Yup! What a disgusting woman! Let your poor child have some freaking peace!

    • pwal says:

But isn’t this par for the course? MJ wasn’t even cold when Dr. Arnie Klein went all over TV dropping dime, left and right, before ‘declaring’ that he’s the bio father. Then, Mark Lester, who supposedly supplied ‘stuff’, and at least 2 or 3 times a years, he shows up on TV, proclaiming his paternity. Then the bodyguard – same thing. The very people who put in the minimum amount of emotional investment and time are the ones who do these media laps.

Which is not to say that the Jacksons don’t do the same thing. That debacle from last year still stinks and the fact that these kids had to show up to concerts in support of people who intentionally withheld their grandmother’s whereabouts for days. The audacity of several of them to offer their opinions about how the kids should be raised when they are scarcely around now and wasn’t around back then.

I really feel sorry for Paris. Too many so-called adults, who are parents themselves, are too self-serving to conceive of the harm that they are doing to her and her brothers. The Jacksons and these people doing media laps had their chance at a career and personal satisfaction before Michael died and yet, here they are seeking out a career rebirth at these kids’ expense.

  36. hadleyb says:

Yes poor girl, why doesnt the mother step up? I mean yes she gave her away, made a deal with MJ but sometimes you have to do things to help people.

She has money, and if the Jackson family just cares about money let them have it and take the child. Debbie has money anyway. I don’t get it. She’s old enough to decide where she wants to live right?

MJ’s mother is too old to be raising these children and her history proves she wasn’t that great of a mother anyway.

  37. Dawn says:

Oh this makes me so sad. Hang in there Paris, it all gets better. Just wait.

  38. skuddles says:

So sad to hear this about Paris… I hope the people close to her will get her the help she clearly needs.

  39. Dedrie says:

MJ’s mama Katerine wants her to go about, ring doorbells and Jehovah witness to strangers in their homes..? She’s restricted and can only travel with a looney pervert family member; they all are,.. no exceptions .. Nobody accepts MJ’s kids in the Jackson family.. they know it.

    • A says:

      Oh please.
What is Katherine guilty of? She hasn’t forced them to do anything, she is the one who took care of them ffs.
What has Janet done? Except trying to discipline the kids? You don’t believe that she tried to steal anyones money do you? She’s worth a lot and has a billionaire husband.
Don’t believe every nonsense you read.
Debbie is the one who went to the media and told them Paris’s private business.

    • steph says:

Titos son whos in his 30s is doing the raising, not Katherine. I believe he was added on (with the kids consent) as guardian.

I am in the minority but I dont think this is about the extended family. I think its to do with coming to terms with the possibility that a beloved and deceased parent was a molester. I think she was aware of the accusations but may now be receiving details that make it harder to pretend. I know its not the time to speculate but couldnt help it.

    • Lemony says:

      @Dedrie:
I disagree completely. I don’t think what Paris is going through has anything to do with religion. It has to do with her wacko family & dealing with her father being gone & whether or not her father was a pedophile.
Katherine is too old to “force” those kids to do anything. Other family members are doing most of the raising of these kids.

  40. eny says:

Maybe Denise Richards could get temporary custody of Jacko’s kids?

  41. janie says:

This is so sad.. where are they living? Talk about a messed up family! Their worlds were ripped apart when Michael passed. They are basically on their own.

  42. I Choose Me says:

I wanna comment and say something intelligent and thoughtful but I got nothing. Whatever’s going on with her I hope she gets the help she needs.

    • Miss M says:

@I Choose Me: I feel the same here. Paris, I hope you find the help you need.

  43. Sam H x says:

Just spotted this on twitter, I really hope she is able to get the help she needs and Debbie should have respected her privacy since this is a sensitive issue that shouldn’t be made public. Nevertheless, Debbie seems to be the only one Paris can trust atm and the Jacksons have done worst to the kids in comparison. I hope Debbie doesn’t do anything to break the trust completely and the relationship they have just started to build as they have no adults around them that they can trust implicitly. That blind item is sad, I really hope it isn’t true :/ then again cant put anything past the Jackson family who are leeching off these kids. Oh I don’t know :S stay strong Paris… ^ @Faye – please tell me that isn’t true?! Did TMZ really do that?! x

  44. Kelly says:

That’s sad, she seems like a nice kid.

  45. Thiajoka says:

This about Paris Jackson now has me wondering about the blind on CDAN–about a celebrity being potentially molested by an uncle. The guesses were all that the blind was about her and that it is why she reached out to her mother recently. Poor kids. Anyone who thinks her Grandma is going to help her should remember that she let her husband use and abuse most/all of their kids during their childhoods.

  46. Fue McCormick says:

In the second picture: who’s that black kid? I’m sure it’s one of Michaels’ nephews … but holy, moly … he resembles Prince Michael I. Is anybody else seeing this?

  47. sarah says:

That poor girl has been through more in her short life than most of us can even imagine. It’s not like she asked to be “famous” or even seeks fame like other celebrity children. I hope she gets help and finds a way to deal with everything life has thrown at her.

Random, she has insanely beautiful eyes.

  48. Nev says:

    Janet come get dem kids!!!!

  49. Rhiley says:

We need more pictures of Jessica Simpson’s daughter. She is adorable and I bet she has a lot of personality.

  50. Decloo says:

    Keep strong, little girl…

  51. tmbg says:

This poor kid. I wonder if she gets bullied at school because of who she is? I seem to recall some story floating around at one point.

I hope they get her the help she needs and put her before the money and lawsuits and other crap in their lives. She probably still deeply mourns her father. 🙁

  52. Itsa Reallyme says:

Poor girl. I hope she’s able to find comfort and peace and true happiness. She deserves that and more.

  53. Mae says:

Paris if you ever read things like this please know that things will get better and your dad wouldn’t want this for you. So many wonderful people in the world yet for you to meet. Please see through this dark cloud and know that things will get better and your brothers need you. Wait you turn…God has great plans for your soul and you have to live your life out the good and the bad. Someday you will all be together forever, but you have to live the best life you can here first. I wish I could do more to help you.

  54. Jayna says:

It’s being said she was having a lot of issues, but the final straw was that she was refused to be able to go to a Manson concert that night.

They were talking about how teens are really susceptible to depression and, let’s face it, suicide attempts or suicdal ideation by teens happens in all walks of life.

Katherine is too old to know how to deal with this and her other guardian who is helping to raise her, I don’t know if he understands her pain as a young female teen. I always liked LaToya. She’s sweet. I hope she tries to spend more time with her. And Paris seems to really need Debbie in her life, who has stepped up to the plate. So she has her. Although, I have always found Debbie an odd bird in her interviews. But Paris needs a good psychotherapist and/or psychiatrst to help her get through this period.

    • Tiffany :) says:

LaToya’s “talent agency” is repping Paris’s brother Prince for his work on ET. LaToya is trying to profit from her brother’s children, not help them.

      • Nina W says:

Nothing new, Michael bankrolling the rest of the family and, after all you can’t just let LaToya live in the gutter or something.

  55. Noinin says:

Poor Paris. I really like that kid, my heart skipped a beat when I read the headlines. My opinion is that the her, Prince and Blanket have not been taken care of properly since their father died. The cousins posted some videos on YouTube where you could see that all the Jackson kids were left roaming in Las Vegas hotels by themselves, in 2009 or so. Same thing when Katherine disappeared, the kids were alone. I think they need someone in their life. Their grandmother is too old, and their uncles and aunts are too crazy. They need an adult to really step up and raise them, To listen to them and guide them. Life is hard for teenagers, but I just can’t imagine what Paris is going through. The dysfunctional family, the media scrutiny, trying to create a relationship with her surrogate mother, having to testify for the Aeg trial, her father accused again of abusing a kid… On top of all the usual problems teenagers encounter every day! I really hope this will be a waking call for her family.

  56. Jean Robbins says:

she is so beautifull why would she do such a think ! i hope she is fine and she will never do that again !

  57. bluecalling says:

definitely hope things get better for MJ’s girl…

maybe she should turn to Janet (discipline (& not tweeting holy hell about it, forgetting what she looks like and how the media treats her family) and stability out of the limelight may be what they need). but the again, I am sure Janet is like “never again”… which is totally understandable. Paris did almost ruin her rep for good.

    Oh well, sad all around.

  58. Laura says:

I will admit to following Paris on twitter — she seems like the type of girl I would have been friends with in high school, as well as the type of young lady I would be honored to have as my daughter. (I’m technically old enough to be her mother though I would have been a very young mother.)

I think that perhaps she is overwhelmed by the isolation of her existence. The kids at her school would be difficult to befriend as some of them would be cruel toward her because of opinions regarding Michael Jackson, while others would look to latch onto Paris because of the attention and perks of being her friend might entail. I feel that it would be quite difficult for her to find true friends — and especially during the high school years when kids can be their cruelest without the added scenario of Paris’s celebrity.

Perhaps she is also feeling conflicted about formulating a relationship with her birth mother — Michael kept her away from Debbie for a reason and maybe Paris feels she has somehow betrayed her beloved father. Or maybe she feels that it has driven a wedge between her and Prince as it has been reported that Prince does not wish to form a relationship with Debbie and has been asserting his independence from the family.

Maybe it’s just teen angst — of feeling that nobody understands her (such as her grandmother and/or other authoritative figures in her life) and feeling alone.

Of course, these are just speculations. Only Paris (and perhaps those closest to her) know what and why she tried to kill herself.

I don’t know her personally, but my heart aches for her as though I do. There is something vulnerable, fragile and sweet about her. Nothing fake or bratty. She seems to have had a very close relationship to her father, something which I can relate to, though I am fortunate enough to still have my father in my life.

I truly hope that things get better for Paris. I wish her nothing but peace and happiness.

  59. Jaded says:

The whole Jackson family has horrendous dysfunctional issues. It started with papa Joe who intimidated and terrified the kids, stole their childhood, and turned them into nothing but money-making machines, with Katherine being the meek and complicit mother. Michael was singled out for the worst treatment as he was clearly the most talented. NONE of the original Jacksons had anything approaching a normal childhood so small wonder their children and the grand-children are growing into emotional disasters. When you’re raised by parents who see children only as a commodity to be bullied into achieving fame, how can you then raise your own children with any kind of normalcy?

My heart goes out to Paris and I pray she can beat her emotional problems and keep her blood-sucking family members at bay.

  60. Adrien says:

Oh dear! The late dad fought for the kids’ privacy, making them wear strange masks. Now her life becomes a tabloid fodder.
I was reading an article about British comedian, Stephen Fry wherein he revealed he tried to kill himself last year by overdosing on pills and alcohol. The reason? Nothing. No reason at all. That’s Stephen Fry, a highly literate successful comedian. Thankfully he failed.
Imagine Paris. She’s 15, no father figure and living with a highly dysfunctionl, greedy family. She seemed like a normal teen on FB and twitter.

  61. Zombie Shortcake says:

That link reads the graduating kid was fined $1000 for wearing the eagle feather.

  62. Joanna says:

Paris is such a beautiful girl. Just goes to show that just because you’re rich, it doesn’t mean life is easy. I wonder if she had tweeted her angst that everyone would have jumped down her throat for complaining? you know, like people did with what is it? kendall or kylie kardashian.

I hope Paris is okay and will get the help she needs.

  63. Gossip Garl says:

Pics i’ve seen sugest she’s been cutting herselff for a long time..THATS SO EFFING SAD…THEY WANT THE MILLIONS BUT DON GIVE HER THE HELP SHE DESERVES..

  64. Suzy from Ontario says:

I think it’s a shame that MJ left custody to his mother when he knew that she didn’t protect him from his father and that the rest of his relatives all appear to be greedy and selfish and that his mother was living with many of them. His kids have been thrust right into a snake pit on top of the trauma of losing their father.

I’m glad to hear that Paris has been establishing a relationship with her mother, although I have questions about the integrity of Debbie Rowe after she so willingly gave away her children and had no contact with them while MJ was alive. Still, she’s the lesser evil, imo, when compared to the Jackson clan who seem more concerned with using these kids to make money through lawsuits and in other ways. I heard that Paris and Prince had to tesify at the court case recently and were grilled by the the other side’s lawyers and I’m sure that was traumatic for them. I think it’s disgusting they are being put through that for more money.

She’s a very pretty girl with a lot of dreams for her life that she wants to explore. I hope that she gets the help and support she needs. Frankly it might be better for her to move in with her mother and get away from the Jacksons
