Ugh. Kim Kardashian went off on the paparazzi on her Twitter yesterday. Apparently, she was being followed by several paparazzi, and she was able to “block” them, which has been happening a lot lately. Sidenote: I think Kim just doesn’t want to be photographed so often these days because she’s miserable and pregnant and she hates unflattering photos of herself. Anyway, after Kim was able to block the photographers, some of them “threatened” her and that’s why she went off on Twitter:
I wouldn’t let the paps get a pic of me today & they threatened my life & said if I continue to block shots then they will make my world dangerous to live in! How dare they threaten my life & my unborn child! This has gotten way out of control!
Yesterday 4 cars boxed me in. One in front, behind, & one on each side just to have me drive at their speed so they can snap through the window. Its really so scary what they are legally allowed to get away with!
For years I’ve always been so gracious. Every shot they take now just isn’t flattering & crazy stories get made up, so why would I willingly just let them stalk me & smile for them? Let me enjoy this last month of pregnancy please without threats & being scared to leave my home due to what dangerous thing they just threatened to do to me.
What will it take for there to be laws put in place to prevent this behavior?
I get I live a public life. I live my life on a reality show for the world to see. I love my life, but when the cameras stop, that doesn’t mean I don’t want a break too. I’m 32 yrs old now, about to be a mom. I’m not 25 clubbing around LA anymore. There’s no excuse for threats & stalking!
If the paps threatened her and she felt they were behaving dangerously, then she has every right to call them out and even report it to the police. But I can’t help but think that she’s overplaying her hand here. Hidden within her Twitter fit is the real reason she’s mad – “Every shot they take now just isn’t flattering & crazy stories get made up”. Yep. That’s it. It’s not JUST about the paparazzi putting her in a dangerous situation – which is truly scary and deserves to be called out – but it’s about Kim “controlling” her image. She’s not just mad about the danger. She’s mad that a paparazzo will get an unflattering photo and publish it without airbrushing it. She’s mad that the tabloids keep claiming that Kanye is gay and that he couldn’t care less about participating in her pregnancy. I mean… and that’s fine, that she’s mad about all of those things all at once. But her argument against the paparazzi is weakened when she makes it about her control over her image.

I think tinted windows are illegal. But she certainly should have a driver, especially when so close to her due date. Kimmie has a habit of lying in pursuit of her desires, so I doubt that this is an entirely truthful account of what really happened. What exactly is she trying to distract from at the moment? That’s the first question to ask about Kim whenever she says anything like this.

Tinted windows are not illegal in California, look at limos. They are illegal in the front seat windows and the front windshield. I believe you have to have the permission of the DMV to have tinted windows although with limos it may be part of commercial transportation licensing.

I completely agree! She does have the choice as far as I can tell to move to Paris and be with Kanye for the final month of her pregnancy or even hunkering down in NY if she can’t fly overseas and be with the father of her child away from the cameras. I don’t understand why she just doesn’t give everyone the finger and do what she wants. But who knows what really goes on behind the scenes. As far as the paps behavior goes…the monster she created is now out of control…well who’s fault is that?

I can’t stand this family and hearing a woman who courts the paps whinge about them is eye-roll worthy. However, at this point she actually doesn’t have the choice to go to Paris or NYC as she is in her third trimester and thus unable to fly. It’s too late.
Also, someone above said she should be at home resting… Seriously? Unless her doctor told her to do that, she doesn’t need to. Pregnant women in this day and age aren’t required to stay locked in the house.

Her makeup is consistently just the worst daytime makeup ever. She cakes on a shovel full every single day. You can see the stripes on her nose regularly and the orange around the outside, white in the center of the face look is horrifying.

I’m on board with that. There has been rumors for a while that Kanye isn’t the father. His sudden disappearing act and change in behavior support that theory.
The entrapment is also a good theory given that Kanye started to pull away from her after the episode aired in which she goes with Khloe to the doctors and go off of birth control. It’s very possible that she told him that their baby was an accident and when he learned that she wasn’t having safe sex with him he got pissed off.

So I’m not trying to hijack this thread and I know my feelings probably aren’t totally valid, but it makes me SO ANGRY to see how lightly these damn people keep treating pregnancy and having a dependent child to care for. Using fertility as a PR move is so ridiculous and wrong and part of me is glad that Kim is hopefully learning a small lesson about that. That being said, I’m newly pregnant after trying to conceive for a year and two rounds of Clomid, and it’s looking like the pregnancy isn’t viable and I’m waiting to hear from the doc about my follow up test results…so obviously I’m biased. It is just that I would do almost anything to become a mom right now, the past year has been a nightmare that doesnt seem to want to end, and these two morons are treating this like an inconvenience / financial investment / whatever.
