According to In Touch, Jamie Lynn Spears is going to marry her fiance, Casey Aldridge, and has picked out her gown and cake and even ordered the invitations. Earlier reports had Jamie Lynn kicking Casey out of their shared home and calling off the wedding after cheating allegations surfaced in the tabloids, which they denied. There were enough women who came forward to make it seem like Casey was fooling around, although the accusers could have been motivated by cash. It’s also hard to judge if this story about an imminent wedding is true as we often hear these type of wedding reports about celebrities and they turn out to be fabricated or premature:
She has chosen a gown from Monique Lhuillier, ordered invitations and chosen a three-tiered chocolate cake – all Jamie Lynn Spears still needs to do is pick a date for her wedding to diance Casey Aldridge. The 17 year-old has no intentions of calling off her nuptials, despite the fact that Kelli Dawson, 28, claims Casey, 19, cheated on Jamie Lynn while she was pregnant with daughter Maddie, 7 months. “She wants to keep her family together, says a pal.

It sounds kind of foolish to want to get married at 17 to keep a family together as a baby will bind Casey and Jamie Lynn for the rest of their lives whether they take that extra step or not. Getting married involves a lot of shared responsibilities and is a lifelong commitment that it doesn’t seem like they’re prepared for at such a young age. We’ll have to see if Jamie Lynn and Casey do make it official. If it happens for them, we’ll probably see the photos in OK! along with a syrupy sweet story about how wonderful and special their big day was.

OMG I hope she doesn’t think being married will keep her family together. If so, she better go to counseling and quick!
“K-Fed” round 2!
Exactly CB: A lot of brides, regardless of age, don’t get the difference between wedding and marriage. They’re only seeing that one day and realizing their ‘fairytale’ not the larger picture.
Both her mother and her sister have shown her bold examples that being married is not a guarantee of keeping ANYTHING together.
I can’t help it, but I admire their intentions and their effort. Sure the marriage may not work out, but at least their daughter will know that her parents gave it a damn good shot. Don’t ask me why it matters, it just does. If marriage carries the weight of lifelong commitment, it pales compared to the same commitment that parenthood carries. I mean, you can fail at being a good parent but you’re still a parent. So props to Ms. Spears and her husband to be for caring enough to try.
Deja-vu all over again with the Spears saga..bet casey will call K-Fed real soon for advice!
