No, she has said herself that she simply dyes it a strong blue-black color, she prefers it that way, so it may look a bit unnatural, but that is exactly the look she is going for.
Wella Koleston Blue Black it used to be called Wella Cleopatra Blue Black in the 80s my mum used it until she decided to stick with the salt and pepper natural look.

I’m very fond of Dita, despite being basically a stripper she is actually very ladylike , soft spoken, sweet and stylish a pity more ‘removalists’ don’t follow her elegant old school burlesque/cabaret style instead of the tacky porno strip club acts of 2000’s.
I was thinking the same thing about her posture, perhaps it’s because she wears tight corsets most of the time and they may have changed her natural stance, no corset here so it could be throwing the body line off.

I think she looks great. However, I would like to make an observation. She uses MAC Studio Fixe (per her statement).I use it also, and have noticed that in photos, my face looks too flat and too white. Just like hers. Her body looks creamy and slightly shadowed, but her face doesn’t appear to be contoured at all. So slap on some contour powder Dita.

Dita is a full time embodiment of that style and way of life. Her home, car, clothes, how she preps herself is all within the time period she’s trying to display. Her poses that look awkward are just her being a pin up for the cameras. She actually seems quite intelligent when she speaks and not a bad word can be said of her personality or how she’s treated others. Not many celelbs can claim that. Her work ethic rivals Bey’s too.
No matter if you like or don’t like her style for your own tastes it’s flawless. Her make up, hair, skin, and clothes are always just perfect.
Are you insane? That is one of the sexiest gowns I’ve ever seen…. She looks like a goddess, nothing less.

She wears waaaaay too much cakey makeup. I prefer a natural look.
It’s not supposed to look natural. She’s a burlesque performer and this is her persona, she’s selling the fantasy, she can’t just show up in jeans. It’s like saying RuPaul should look more natural.
Exactly – its the 20’s-50’s Hollywood glamour– they used even more makeup than this back then and even stronger lighting for their portraits and pinups (no photoshop yet) so she is stayng true to her style inspiration, though, for anyone else outside of the business it is obviously complete overkill.
But if she didn’t cake on the makeup we’d all be able to see how homely she is.
LOL I know she’s a burlesque dancer, and that’s how they’re supposed to look. I was saying I don’t think it looks good. That said, I’ve seen plenty of burlesque where they just paint up their eyes and lips without two inches of cakey foundation. She looks like Katy Perry.

Nerd, I don’t care that you don’t love Dita, I just said that her makeup is part of her performance. That being said, I do acknowledge that it’s a shit ton of makeup. It would be exhausting trying to keep that up.
She has fantastic skin, and her dark hair looks great against it. Not many can pull that off. I have seen pictures of her without her signature makeup, and I find her far more attractive without it.
