We covered some photos of Brad Pitt at LAX yesterday – he was wearing a see-through t-shirt and some baggy drawstring pants, and he looked like the aging hippie he is. What I didn’t realize, though, was that Brad was on his way to France at the time. According to the Daily Mail (side-eye), Brad went to France to meet with a wedding planner and “finalize” the wedding arrangements. First of all, Brad is the one meeting with wedding planners, not Angelina? I buy that. I buy that Brad cares more about the wedding plans and Angelina is all “just tell me when to show up.” That being said, I don’t really buy this:
They originally said that they wouldn’t get married until it was legal for everyone. And now that the Supreme Court has overturned the Defense of Marriage Act, it seems that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are finally making plans to tie the knot.
Brad Pitt touched down in France on Wednesday morning, reportedly to meet with the couple’s wedding planner and finalise the arrangements.
Hollywood’s most high-profile couple, who held off on walking down the isle while Jolie recovered from her double mastectomy, are said to be in the final stages of arrangements.
A source from Brignoles, near the couple’s Miraval vineyard estate, told X17: ‘The rumor around town is that Brad and Angelina will finally have their wedding. Local shops have been contacted for some supplies and they finally finished construction on their property.’
And 49-year-old Brad certainly looked like he was on a mission, striding through the French airport with purpose on Wednesday. The star, who had jetted in from LAX, wore the same khaki outfit that he’d boarded the plane in, looking low-key in a tight T-shirt and cargo pants.
And the purpose of his whirlwind trip to Europe is said to be to personally plan the logistics of what is set to be the biggest A-list wedding in years. But while the couple are still rumoured to be tying the knot in their French chateau, they have reportedly been making enquiries into the possibility of wedding on board Scottish ship, The Hebridean Princess.
For the love, they’re not getting married on a boat! They are not boat people! I’ll buy that they’ll marry at the chateau next week before I’ll buy that they’re planning on marrying on a boat. As for the rumors and everything… I think it depends on their schedules. I’m sure the loonies know all the details of who is starting what and when, but Brad is supposed to start Fury soon, and Angelina is going to be directing Unbroken in Hawaii this year too. Is it possible that they’ve scheduled a getaway to France for August, and that they’ll have a low-key wedding/vacation within a month? Eh. Sure. Maybe. Or maybe Brad was just in France for other reasons.

I think Brad is in France to meet with the Perrin family. He had been making monthly trips up until he had to start promotion for WWZ. They have another wine that will be released. A white wine and something else, if memory serves. And he is probably checking up on their home. That makes more sense. And he only had a small luggage when he arrived. So seems like a short trip.
And really why would Brad have to fly all the way to France to meet with planners. They would most likely come to him. The media is the one creating this big over the top wedding. He said it would be simple, small, JUST FAMILY. but obviously the press tabloids don’t listen. And considering they didn’t know about all the medical stuff we are not to believe they have inside sources telling them about a wedding..
Yeah right.
That makes more sense for his reason to go to France. Anyway, tabloids still not giving up now do they? I like Jolie but I never really paying attention about the Jolie-Pitt’s “wedding details” in tabloids since they’re good at making surprises… We would probably know about the wedding months after it happen. 🙂

If you own a French chateau with a chapel on the grounds, why the heck get married anywhere else? I completely buy BP as wedding planner. Supposedly he was the one who oversaw all the details for his first wedding too. Given his interest in design, it makes sense.

I honestly just don’t care. Maybe I’ll care when they finally tie the knot but I’m not big into the speculation of when and where and really don’t understand why it’s such a big deal. I get that they’re a huge celebrit couple but I don’t have any reason to believe that they’re marrying anytime soon. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they never marry and just stay life partners.

Everybody gets married in France…except the couple that everybody thinks is going to get married in France. Quite ironic.
Pitt has been filming the most while Jolie is the one with more time on her hands. They have enough resources to have people plan everything according to their wishes and be done with it. It’s not their first marriage either and they have a gaggle of children, they’re waiting because they want to. There are enough reasons to do it already. Gay marriage is legal after all.
I don’t care about their wedding plans. And even though he’s dressed really douchey here and his hair is getting way too long, I still love Brad. And he’s looking buffer/bulkier than he has recently.
Serious inquiry: Does anyone really care anymore? “Are they” or “aren’t they” has been carouselled for years. It’s become a bit tiring, for me at least.

The paps care, I’m sure and they’re loyal fans would probably like to see some nice wedding shots but otherwise, no, no one cares, these two are boring as dirt.

Poor guy, they always talk about how hard it is on women in HW but, come on, it can’t be easy to end up looking like this. IMO his scruff really ages him and he’s too old to wear the t and not look man-booby.
Know what? I have no interest at all in what Pitt or Jolie are doing any more. They are OVER.
And yet, you clicked on his picture and commented. He’s happy, talented and puts out good things into the world (I was so PLEASANTLY surprised by WWZ- we ended up seeing it twice!). Even if he’s old, he sure has proven that he has value as an artist- his upcoming projects look amazing as well- yes, old people can still do interesting things. IMO, he looks good for a 50 yr-old, but my opinion doesn’t matter. Only Angie needs to like how he looks. Hollywood must not think he’s too ugly/over if they keep hiring him and giving him $$$. Shoes for six babies and French chateaus are not free.
