Here are some various photos of Jennifer Aniston on the set of her new film, Squirrels to the Nuts, over the past week. We go for two months without any new photos of her at all, and then suddenly she’s getting pap’d on a daily basis, and I try to avoid the Aniston Overload. Plus, there’s not all that much happening with her these days. She’s in New York. Justin Theroux is in New York. Their wedding is postponed but not canceled. Jennifer’s character is wearing a series of bad wigs. That’s about it.
Re: the wigs. As I said last week, I really do like the darker color on Jennifer. This is close to her natural hair color, and I would love it if she gradually went darker as she got older. I think darker hair makes her look younger, and I think it makes her blue eyes really stand out. That being said, these wigs look incredibly cheap. The film has a small budget, I’m sure, but why not spread around a little extra money for some better quality wigs?
Additionally, Jennifer and Justin were out and about with their mothers on Saturday in New York. The way the tabloids have it, Nancy Dow (Jennifer’s mom) is close to death, but if you look at the photos – go here to see – she looks fine. I don’t know what’s going on there. Justin and Jennifer took their moms out to dinner in the Village. JustJen also went (without their moms) to a matinee of The Grown-Ups. Er? Maybe it was just one of those “It’s crazy hot in this apartment, let’s go see a movie and just sit in the air conditioning for hours, I don’t care what we see” moments.

Judging by the photos you posted Toot the blonde one is definitely Justin’s mother, only she has lighter hair now. The other one I’m not that sure but has a big resemblance with Aniston so she could be her mother.

She looks older, much older and it’s not flattering at all. I think her character is not supposed to be a sexy/attractive one, but boring and plain. Hence the hair. I know I’m in minority on this website but I do like her hair, hair colour and don’t think she should go darker as she gets older. It looks fine
I think it was a PR/Famewhore move to prove that the wedding is not totally cancelled forevah! So we should speculate that the future mothers in law were discussing wedding plans. Yeah, right.

And this is how she looks. Considering she is spending thousands bucks per week to keep her body toned and her skin young, she should look much better.
I’m not sure you got my point, I think they are deliberately trying to make her unattractive. We know she can glam it up when she needs to, this role seems to call for the opposite.
What you call “deliberately trying to make her unattractive” is what most women get as a standard.
And many women could glam it after some months of professional treatments and styling.
I mean, this is not a camouflage like the one Theron had for Monster. It’s only a different hairstyle (not a messy disaster, anyway), and a budget outfit.

I think it has just given her fans/stans such a big shock to see her as she really is- very plain/unattractive. Take away the blond, straight hair and you have a very, very, very average looking person.

I totally agree. Camille, and have always said this about JA. Also, frumpy she may look for this role, but is it just me, or has she had serious work done on that face? Her lower face – the mouth especially – makes her look like a different person. Am I really seeing things that aren’t there?

I like the black outfit as well. Wish she would incorporate more outfits like that with a little sophistication and stay the heck out of the juniors department!! This would be a good time for her to adopt a more sophisticated look (and life), but she seems stuck in the tanning, drinking, teenage life/look.

I’ll agree about the wigs but I think a lot of folks are cutting corners with bad/cheap hair. I was watching True Blood the other night and that f-knut Warlow looked like he was sporting hair off the back of a cat’s ass, horrible!
Wow, she looks incredibly beautiful on the first couple of pictures, that wig looks good, the cut, wave, the color. Makes her look younger. She really needs to go back to her orginal color because this shows that brunette makes her look younger, hands down. Bleach ages her. Ask anyone. 99.9999459992399999% of people say she looks better as a brunette.
I love the hairstyle in the first pic. Not necessarily on her, but it’s really adorable. I wish my hair could do it. Dark hair does make her look a bit older.
Dear God, another tanorexic Jen movie. I so thought pale hipster, New Yorker Justin would bring back the old Jen, who was unique back in her early career. This tan is too dark on her. It ages her. Jen is half Greek. She has a naturally darker complexion, so why this horrible tanning stuff every bleeping movie for the last ten years or more, even in NY where this movie is being filmed. The dark tan against that hair color of the wig doesn’t work on her.
I will always love her in this movie from earlier in her career. Plus, she had softer brown hair in ths clip. Why the wig? Just put her own hair back to brown wth some golden highlights.

Her skin is looking quite damaged. I see this ladies lying in the sun for hours next to the pool but it is such a big mistake. You can see how the tautness around the armpits and knees have really gone. Such a contrast to Cate Blanchett who looks like she looks after herself better.
I also loved her in this movie, Picture Perfect. She reminded me in some scenes of a young Barbra Streisand before her latest rhinoplasty.

I don’t get why some people are saying her character in the film is suppose to look plain and unattractive. That black outfit is not what a plain unattractive woman would wear. That necklace, the watch make-up, stylish heels doesn’t say plain. She is wearing an expensive white maybe silk shirt, nails perfectly done. None of that equals a dowdy woman that doesn’t care about her appearance.
That dress; shorts and ridiculous skirt are her own clothing. not for the character. She has been wearing those same wedge heels for years.

I get a 90’s vibe. It’s everything, from the premise of the film to getting dressed up in horrible disguises. It is the same with this film and the one that she has coming out sometime this summer,where she is pretending to be a housewife/stripper. All of her films seem so budget, and she wonders why know goes to see them. Try something different, Jen. I hope she isn’t getting paid big bucks for these roles, because I could probably play these roles just as well, or someone on this board. It doesn’t require any talent.
i like the look of the all black outfit but apart from that she looks very ordinary indeed. Not saying unattractive but without her usual look and general “JenniferAnistonness”, you wouldn’t look twice. There’s no aura of anything special. Maybe she’s so deep into her character she’s suppressing it.

these pics confirm what I have always thought, if she is not styled properly as far as clothing, hair and makeup, she is at best , average looking.

What I noticed most about these pics is the fact that she has settled into a new weight. Glad to see that she’s filled out a little bit-not quite so obsessed with the rockin’ bod thing as she used to be? That’s a good thing. As for the wigs/clothes and how ‘ordinary’ she looks…geez, you people, she IS pretty ordinary and she’s playing a role in a movie-lighten up!
I was thinking the same about the weight, although I wonder if it’s more her level of tone than her actual weight. She does look less fabulous but she probably has a lot more free time!! And of course age catches up to all of us!!
She has gained 10-15 lbs. due to quitting the cigarettes… which, is very normal. I think she still looks fabulous!
