This week, every time I look at photos of Cate Blanchett, I think about Yeezus trying to describe Kim Kardashian as his “Perfect Bitch”. Obviously, there is no comparison between Kim K and Cate B, and I seriously don’t mean “bitch” as a derogatory name or a pejorative at all. I mean it as, “Cate Blanchett is a Fierce, Amazing, Perfect Bitch”. Because she is. These are photos of Cate at the LA premiere of her new Woody Allen film, Blue Jasmine. PERFECTION.
Cate is wearing Alexander McQueen, one of her favorite designers. I actually think the dress is a tad on the conservative side for Cate’s usual fashion-forward style. That being said, Cate could wear a trash bag and it would look impossibly chic and avant-garde. Perfect makeup too, and I love that her hair is growing out and she’s keeping it. Cate usually has short hair, but I guess she’s switching it up and I like that it doesn’t look like she drowning herself in weaves either. This might be all her real hair…?
I’m also including some photos of Peter Sarsgaard (creepy/hot), Rose Byrne (wearing a blah Christopher Kane dress), Bobby Cannavale (God, I love him so much) and Kaley Cuoco, who seems to be wearing some kind of romper or pajama set. I realize she wants to be “seen” after the Henry Cavill breakup, but I’m not sure if this is the outfit for it.

I always found her to be beautiful but she is looking kinda Claire Danish in those pics.

I generally tell my kids I’m going to take them back to the funny farm to exchange them for new ones when they’ve failed to unravel sweaty smelly socks BEFORE they put them in the laundry basket, but a looks-swapsie with Blanchett seems a more profitable option…

Personally, I don’t find her features beautiful, but she has such charisma, attitude and presence. She is simply mesmerising.

I think Kate looks great and I like Rose’s dress as well. But Kaley needs some help as that outfit looks like it walked right of 1971.

I noticed it with her LBD that: she doesn’t wear a single piece of jewellery. She looks fine, the outfit works for her but I’ve always thought such strong clear combinations need at least ONE accessory: watch or something else.
When I see her so I think about a wall with no picture on it.
Cate is beautiful especially with longer hair now, but that dress weirdly elongates her already long torso and lower part is just boring, would have not guessed it as McQueen. Kayley should hire a stylist or fire the one she has. Rose is always blah to me, regardless of the clothes she wears, does she ever smile or perpetually looks like she’s about to burst into fit of anger and tears?
My girl crush. I remember seeing Paradise Road on TV and her acting was the only thing that caught my attention. She was completely unknown then. For me, J-Law is Cate Blanchett Jr. Their presence on the screen, their stare can be very similar.

Though she’s not avoiding Australian sun as Cate is and it’s starting to show :/ great actress nevertheless, deserved an Emmy for what she’s pulled last 2 years of the show.
I’ve heard about Fringe and her name is familiar, I will check the series. However my point wasn’t about physical likeness, I just noticed they play certain character types very similarly (plus the same deep-seated icy blue eyes).
I don’t see it, personally. Cate has always had such a sophisticated presence.

Don’t like the gown, but love Cate. I think she’s beautiful and I like the simple but dramatic hair and makeup. She is looking like she could stand to gain a little weight, though.
I wish this wasn’t a Woody Allen film, but I will have to see it for her. I’ve already seen some accolades for her performance.

The dress is fine, but I think this is a rare makeup miss for her. I like the color of the lipstick, but it looks like someone got too aggressive with the lip liner and gave her clown lips — drawing way outside her natural lip line. Her blush is also way, way too heavy.
She is out of this world beautiful, but I kind of prefer the Balenciaga dress she wore the other night, it was much more interesting and also her make up was better. Anyway she looks gorgeous as always.
Every time I see her at awards or in films I tell my husband I would love to be as gorgeous as she is. I just love her for being so talented and entertaining while remaining classy and natural. I would kill for her perfect skin too!
Great posture, natural poise and good foundation undergarments. Always she’s wearing the clothes, the clothes never wear her. I think one of the reason’s Cate is so charismatic is that you just know she’s comfortable in her skin. A woman of grace and character. Love her to bits.

That is her real hair, I just saw her on stage in Sydney last Friday for one of her plays & she was full brushing & pulling her hair.
