The stress of whatever is going on in her relationship with Samantha Ronson must really be getting to Lindsay Lohan. In photos from yesterday and today, the actress looks alarmingly thin. She’s had issues with her weight in the past and has admitted there were times where she was way too thin. But then she put on a little weight and looked a lot better for it. However now she’s back to rail thin – the Daily Mail points out her thighs aren’t much bigger than her calves. And because she’s always wearing leggings from her clothing line, you can really see just how scary skinny she is.

However, new pictures show the 22-year-old has lost her curves again as she stepped out in Los Angeles earlier this week. Wearing a pair of skinny jeans, Lindsay’s thighs looked almost as slim as her calves as she strolled along the street in Beverly Hills yesterday.

Teaming her jeans with a black vest, checked shirt and shoe boots, Lindsay looked gaunt as she perused the designer stores. Joining Lindsay on her shopping expedition in 90210, was Samantha. Later that evening, Lindsay showed her thin frame even more in a pair of leggings from her own fashion range 6126 and a grey jumper. As she stepped out from her car, the actress looked slimmer than she has done in years.

After her weight plummeted in 2005 and she was admitted to hospital, Lindsay admitted she had become ‘too thin’. In a 2006 interview with Vanity Fair magazine, Lindsay said she realised she was too skinny when she watched herself host U.S. comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live. She told the publication: ‘My arms were disgusting. I had no arms. My sister, she was scared. My brother called me, crying. I was sick. Everyone was scared. And I was scared too. I had people sit me down and say, “You’re going to die if you don’t take care of yourself.”‘

The Daily Mail points out the Lindsay was photographed eating and buying food yesterday. Which doesn’t prove a whole lot in my mind. Okay she’s still eating to some extent, and in public. That doesn’t say much about what might be going on in private. Obviously the ever-present Lohan leggings are going to make her look thinner than a pair of regular jeans, but she’s been wearing the leggings constantly for the last year or so. She never looked emaciated like this. At first when I looked at her I thought it wasn’t that bad because she still has her boobs. But then of course implants don’t shrink with weight loss.

Lindsay definitely needs to make sure her health is priority one. Samantha is super skinny too, but she seems to have a more boyish type body. Lindsay is naturally fairly curvy. Hopefully she’ll realize her health is even more important than her relationship issues, and she’ll focus on that first.
