Just what a lazy, quiet Labor Day holiday weekend needed: budget drama from Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes. For what it’s worth, I did get a chuckle out of this drama, but I’ve become inured to the pettiness of these two (mostly LeAnn, but sometimes Brandi). The background: LeAnn and Eddie Cibrian are doing a “scripted reality show” where they will play versions of themselves and they’re casting actors to play Eddie’s sons and Eddie’s ex-wife, Brandi. Except maybe someone, somewhere wanted Brandi to actually play herself on LeAnn’s show? On Friday, Brandi tweeted: “I am laughing sooooooo hard at offer that just came into my agent for me. A certain soon to be new reality slash script series. NOT GONNA DO IT!!! OMG OMG.” Not to be outdone, LeAnn launched this back within a matter of a few hours:
LeAnn Rimes and the producers of her upcoming reality show are slamming Brandi Glanville‘s claim she’d been asked to appear on the VH1 series, as exclusively reported on RadarOnline.com.
A source close to the production tells us exclusively it was Brandi’s people who made the approach, not the other way around.
“Brandi’s agent saw one of the producers of LeAnn and Eddie’s show at an event recently and approached him about Brandi being on the show. Of course, it’s not what LeAnn or Eddie want to do at all, so they never responded to her formal approach. Not content, the agent contacted VH1 a few days ago asking for $25,000 a show without ever being solicited for it,” the source reveals.
The source claims that only when the producers didn’t respond did Brandi start claiming they’d made her an offer she’d turned down.
“She can’t stand that Eddie and LeAnn haven’t responded, let alone have no interest in her being on their show. I mean, why would they ever in a million years have her on their show? She thinks she’s some big draw. It’s crazy!”
As we previously reported, Brandi — famous for her very public feuding with Rimes — claimed she was asked to be on the upcoming so-called “scripted” reality show starring her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his country singer wife.
“I am laughing sooooooo hard at offer that just came into my agent,” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star tweeted.
Saturday afternoon, LeAnn struck back, “I’m crying from laughing so hard! Thank god for some nonsense on a sick day. I so needed a good laugh. Back to the couch & football”.
Do you believe that Brandi Glanville would approach a producer and ask if she could be on LeAnn and Eddie’s show? Um. No. I won’t give Brandi credit for a lot of things, but she’s proven to be much smarter (about getting under LeAnn’s skin) than that. So, if we don’t believe LeAnn’s version of events – because, seriously, LeAnn called Radar and gave them those quotes – do we believe Brandi’s version of events, that somebody approached her agent? Eh. I think it’s possible that someone, somewhere, wanted to gauge Brandi’s interest but that doesn’t necessarily mean it came from LeAnn or that LeAnn was even told about it. These two definitely need to go to their separate corners. But mostly LeAnn needs to stop Twitter-stalking Brandi and responding hysterically to every little thing Brandi says or does.

But it is plausible that Brandi’s agent wanted to gauge interest in having Brandi play herself without asking her first. And then agent played it off as though the agent hadn’t instigated the discussions when Brandi responded so negative about the prospect of doing the show.
If this was the case, or something like it, then both Brandi and Leann could be telling the truth. (Not that Leann does so very often..)
Her agent wouldn’t do that unless he was looking to be fired. Plus it’s a conflict of interest with her Bravo contract and the shows sound like they are going to be running at the same. He would never try to make that deal.
Most rational people, with a decent moral compass, can’t either.

I love the irony of this situation. LeAnn was famous and established singer until she met Eddie and now is c-list psychotic stalker. Brandi was nobody when she was with Eddie but since he left her she has time of her life.

Leann has already proven she doesn’t care what Brandi wants/doesn’t want for the boys (like having piles of pics put online constantly), *&* that she’s not above using them purely for her own gain (for PR & attention) as much as possible, whether it’s good for them or not.
& Leann keeps Eddie’s balls locked in a safe youd need a freaking Kingdom Hearts key to get into, hidden in a ceiling panel patrolled by armed guards, so it’s not like *he’d* ever stand up for the kids.
Why would brandi want to get involved with this mess? Her agent really asked them if Brandi could be a part of the show? Sounds ridiculous. And Brandi
can’t even see these two in a restaurant without there being a situation.
What I’ll never understand is this: why you would want to become MORE like the woman your lover just left. She has been so obvious about it – the extreme thinness, the bolt-ons, the constant mimicry through clothing/style/accessories.
I’d think she would want to be more of herself, since Eddie left Brandi for her. Why recreate the person he walked out on?
I’ve wondered that, too, and I’ve started to suspect that it may actually be Eddie’s doing. If he likes his women to look a certain way, that might explain it, too. For example, it seems like everyone he’s been with loses a lot of weight after they start dating him. I saw pics of Brandi, Leann, and some other former fling and it was true in each case. Just a theory.
I read that as “it may actually be Eddie’s dong.”
Some men have a way of making the woman they are with feel really insecure. He’s probably one of those men.
That is b/c Ediot didnt want to leave BG, she kicked him out. LR knows this. He did not go willingly, he wanted to work things out with BG but she wasnt having it. It was either shack up with LR, move with his parents or a hotel so he went with LR. She know she only got him by default which is why she tries desperately to emulate BG (and fails)in hopes he’ll be able to happily settle for her after she planned the expose on their affair so BG would know what was going on.
Oh, I know she kicked him out, but he effectively left her when he was cheating on her constantly. Eddie and LR, def deserve each other.
You stated what I was thinking, almost verbatim. I had thought that BG kicked him out after LR outed their affair by calling paps to “catch” them. And as you aptly described the relationship as a “default” for EC, I think you’re exactly right of your assessment of why the SWF-ing happens. It’s CREEPY.

@Gigi, just cuz EC constantly kept cheating on Brandi, it doesnt mean he ‘effectively left her’ since in his mind, he thought it was OK to continue on in the marriage at the same thing he had mistresses. But only when Brandi put her foot down & kicked EC out, is when the relationship ended, even tho EC still wanted 2stay married.
I think the reason y LR tries to look like Brandi is because she knows that EC still wanted to be w/ Brandi even though he was having an affair w/ her. Imo, she knows that in EC’s mind, Brandi is what he wanted/wants & that she herself was what was left over. Thus, imo, she wants to play up to what she thinks EC thinks is the woman he desires more than her.
What I don’t understand is why she wants to look like Brandi so badly. When Ediot had Brandi, he screwed around on her left, right, front and centre. If she succeeds in turning herself into Brandi, Ediot will start treating her the same way he treated Brandi. What doesn’t she get about this?
Eddie didn’t leave Brandi for Leann though. Brandi kicked him out for having multiple affairs and Leann was there to take him in. Eddie is an entitled man-child, but if he’s capable of human emotions it’s possible he misses the mother of his children and that’s why Leann tries so hard to be her.

I wonder if copying Brandi is just an ego thing. Sort of a “look at me”–don’t I rock the same clothes/accessories way better than Brandi?
And I wonder if its possible that they’re just being sent the same clothes for free. Seriously. She can’t be THAT lame, can she? Or is it possible that they just have the same taste in clothing (and men)? Knowing that everything will be in print and that it would be obvious I just have a hard time swallowing that she would take the effort to find out everything she purchased and then get it herself.

That’s an interesting theory, Maggie! I don’t know which designers they are wearing and don’t care in the least, but up and coming designers are sure to get lots of free publicity and their items in photos if they send the same piece to each of these ladies.
I do recall some commenters saying that some of the things they are wearing are kind of worn by everyone right now, though, so there’s that.

Some of the (a lot of the) single-white-femaling claims are far reaches. It sometimes feels like Leann is blamed for having blonde hair or carrying a purse because Brandi does…big effing deal.
I don’t think it’s a matter of trying to be like Brandi but trying to ‘one up’ her. “Oh, you’re wearing that scarf…I can get it in nicer color and wear it better than you.” I knew girls like that in junior high. Ugh.
There is so much to this neverending drama that I may have this wrong, but I think Eddie supposedly told Brandi that he wasn’t physically attracted to his then co-star / affair partner. That plus his initial desire to stay with Brandi might fuel this strange copying behavior.
My theory keeps coming back to a moderately attractive rich girl who lands her physically good looking dream guy through whatever means necessary, and detests the prettier one that deep down she knows he probably wants to have again.
The copying is so crazy. Ok if you live in the same area you may go to the same dentist or hairdresser, even plastic surgeon but to buy the same clothes and CAR as the exwife is just insane.
Because that’s Eddies type. Super skinny, no ass and gross fake tits.

Because the person Leann’s actually in love/lust with is Brandi. But she can’t admit it to herself, so she thinks she wants to be like Brandi, rather than the truth, which is that she wants Brandi.
(I don’t 100% believe this. I have no idea what Leann’s little brain gets up to. But I find it more fun than any other theory.)

@Samtha – I hadn’t heard about that! Your comment made me curious, so I did a quick ‘Google’ image search… Wow. I hadn’t realized Leann was *15* when she started dating 19 year old Andrew…Then she became engaged to him? Was she even 18 when that happened?
But *this* is downright fascinating. 1 of the sites I came across (Storify.com) explained it perfectly: “Piper stole Leann’s fiancée Andrew Keegan from Leann, while Piper was shooting a movie with Andrew (sounds familiar?). And Leann never got over that trauma, living a life of repetitions.”

I find that totally disturbing. Leann needs psychiatric help, big time. It seems like in her mind, her whole life has been filled w/betrayals (first & most importantly- Her dad, who she sued & was sued by in return)… Then Andrew (& w/someone it looked like Leann considered a friend to some extent. There are pics of them having fun singing together on the Coyote Ugly after party.. Then she felt the need to be the usER instead of the UsEE, seizing the opportunity to mentally ‘get back at’ Piper & Andrew… By proving to herself that under the same circumstances (meeting someone she wanted that already belonged to someone else, on a movie set), she could ‘win’ this time.
What a mess. It actually makes me sad, really…

@Hakura–whoa! That’s really twisted and sad. Especially when you consider that Spitfire is an album about Eddie and Brandi. So she put a picture of herself posing like the girl who stole her fiance…on an album about her stealing a man from his wife. Freaky.
Yeah, people on here have mentioned this psychotic behavioral pattern Leann is repeating. I think that her dad cheated on her mom and left their home when Leann was just becoming a big star at age 13. After that, she was caught up in their bitter divorce, in which they argued over her and the money they were making off her career. She admits it really screwed her up, her mom turned her against her dad. She and her mom then sued her dad and tried to stop him from having access to her. She made fun of him in a sarcastic performance at an awards show. That’s when she moved Andrew in and was using drugs, drinking and parting all over Hollywood. Leann and her mom hated the dad and his new wife and they all fought in the tabloids. She and her dad were estranged for years.
During this time Andrew left Leann for Piper and it was rumored Leann was stalking them.
So this behavior is not new for Leann and it was probably taught to her by her mom: When you are angry or hurt, try to get revenge, stalk and sue. Today Leann has threatened or filed numerous legal actions and lawsuits against people including her dad, her manager, her record company, many blogs (including this one) Brandi, Brandi’s dentist, and Kim Smiley and her daughter.
Some women do have a tendency to emulate exes. I did something similar once, on a tiny scale compared to this, when I was 18 (thank goodness I was young and that was the only time). I ran into a bf’s ex and she had some very complimentary words for me actually, and then I went home and copied something cool she had done with her hair. She had these bright blue eyes that I envied, I think the hair thing actually had nothing at all to do with her being my (knob) bf’s ex, but wanting to look like someone who I kind of wish I’d looked like. (Brown eyes were not coveted in the 80s.) Surely there’s an ex connection with LeAnn and Brandi, but she’s also the exact opposite physically and I’ll bet LeAnn’s got a bit of a girl crush on her in terms of wanting some of her looks. If you can’t look like a model, why not wear their scarf? Hey, that’s how advertising and branding work, right?

LeAnn Rimes has proven herself to be a compulsive liar again and again, so I wouldn’t believe her manically tweeted denials. She’s always claiming to be laughing hysterically at rumors when she was probably outraged and on the phone to Radar quoting “sources” seconds after Brandi tweeted. She must be over her “tonsillitis flu” in record time. What a miracle! It looks like VH1 approached Brandi’s camp to see how much it would cost for her to appear on a couple of episodes. The show is apparently having trouble finding writers because of ridiculous demands and people are walking out of auditions, when they find out that the show is for LeAnn and Eddie. It doesn’t look like VH! have much faith in the project. The deeper they get into the process, the more they are probably dealing with LeAnn and Eddie’s ego and delusion. The show is going to be a crap fest of epic proportions. Her copycatting of Brandi is really, really creepy and drives home the point that she closely monitors everything Brandi says and does and is majorly obsessed with her. Scary.

You are so right. She absolutely would be a draw and increase ratings. Eddie’s last show got cancelled after three episodes and LeAnn’s album bombed. Brandi is a NYT bestselling author who already has a hit show under her belt and is in talks for her own spin off. I’ve said this before, but who exactly needs who in this scenario? If you find Just Say Jenn who goes by theJennster on Twitter, you should be able to find a really interesting article about the show. LeAnn tweeted over 200 times yesterday. Imagine what working for a nutter like that would be like.

I am still amazed that the Duck producers attached themselves to this project.
As for including Brandi, I don’t see how they are going to have anything remotely interesting about this show unless they mention her.
You can see Gurney Productions has had many projects the last few years (imdb)with Duck Dynasty being the most successful. I think the only way this project had a hope was to include Brandi. I wonder how soon we will see Gurney back out of this “turkey”!

Which I don’t trust anything that comes out of her mouth, because she’s a compulsive liar. Anyone who lies about something as inane as watching the basketball game, snuggling with their “hubby” (while he was in Canada filming), has serious issues.
I thought Leann and Eddie were the producers. From what I read on another blog they are involved in every small detail of the production of the show. So much so that they are making people quit out of frustration because they are such control freaks. (They meaning Leann because Eddie is sitting by the pool drinking beers and texting his girlfriends on his decoy phone.)

LR & Ediot are advertising on Craigs list for writers and cast and so far everyone is refusing b/c of their demands and the way they want it done. Even actresses arent interested in playing BG b/c of how they have the part written.
I absolutely believe BG was approached by VH1 b/c it seems they are beyond desperate. You can say many things about BG but one thing she is not is a liar. LR has been proven over and over to lie about everything. It was even predicted that LR would deny this as soon as the BG article hit Radar and like clock work, LR issued her lame denial. Being the youngest award winner is great, but it doesn’t ensure keeping that momentum. The youngest Oscar winner is Tatum O’Neal, yet that win is also overshadowed by loads of personal drama.
Most singers can win a Grammy and a lot have 3 or 4 of them but you can’t be a NY bestselling author.There are a lot of authors but never made the best seller list even celebs writing books. Don’t try to short change Brandi. Leann is a 90’s star and her popularity was then. Now she is known for being a cheater.The producers know if Brandi appeared on the show it would be ratings gold. Leann nor Eddie are popular and they need something or someone to spark interest because there is nothing in their lives worth watching. Both are dull and vapid and watching their poses in staged photos speaks volumes.
It’s true that you can write absolutely horribly written trash that’s even grammatically incorrect and be a bestselling author if you’ve got the right publicity and know your audience. (Hint: your audience are a bunch of idiots.) That’s always been true. Something similar is true of the Grammys, though — they are not awarded on the basis of quality.
Neither Brandi nor Leann are people I would want to be friends with.
The ONLY reason I started watching RHOBH is because of Brandi.
I can’t stand Leann’s voice, have never liked it. I’m about the same age as her, and NOT a SINGLE one of my friends/ peers liked nor cared about Leann’s music, even while she was winning this fabulous Grammy. I don’t give a rat’s a** that she win a Grammy years ago.
FFS, Tatum O’Neal won an Oscar at the age of nine, and her career didn’t live up to its early promise. Yay, you won a Grammy fifteen years ago. Next? Leann’s next was and is Eddie, and that’s all she has.

I don’t know if it was a different ‘Hyena’ then, because the post (that was deleted–that’s what I responded to) was calling me and everyone else who didn’t like Leann idiots who had horrible personal relationships with our better halves–and so we were projecting that onto Leanne. Something like that. Which made me think that she was a fan of Leann’s behavior. If she likes Brandi (she trashed her in that post and didn’t give her credit for anything), then she’s got a funny way of showing it.
@VC – Definitely a good comparison, bringing up the fact that ‘Sharknado’ got filmed. (Especially considering the fact that any show Including Leann will be automatically ‘science fiction’).
But recently (can’t remember where), I read that there was a movie being made about ‘zombie raccoons’ that can shoot guns. & even something about ‘flesh eating squirrels’. No. I’m *not* shitting you.

Actually, I *thought* I remembered a Pro-Leann/Anti-Brandi user named ‘Hyena’ before. Because I think when I saw the name (after reading a pretty mean comment about Brandi at the time), it reminded me of the ‘bad-guy’ hyenas in ‘The Lion King’ movie. xD

Basically, LeAnn, Eddie, and VH1 are trying to put this “show” on so cheap they are requesting on Craig’s list for writers and actors.
As hungry as actors and writers are, they are staying away from this mess. Starving actors who read portions of the script before the audition are walking away. This show has the stink of death all over it.

I think she’s a hypochondriac. She calls in sick for a concert, putting the place in a tailspin last minute trying to replace her, and yet she is dumb enough to sit on twitter tweeting. Even the dumbest of the dumb know it doesn’t look good when you’ve cost people aggravation and money to be spending that time on twitter. Just common sense.

Yeah, she was so sick she was taking pictures of a personal gym in her house. And in the pictures you can see her in the mirror fully dressed.
Leann love to shoot herself in the foot. If your so sick to attend a concert you committed to then you stay off of twitter for at least a week to make your story plausible.
Plus she has to file some written documentation from her physician that she is really ill. Her twittering all day should give the concert promoters ammunition to sue her.
And if she stayed off of twitter and not repond to the Brandi story it would have been less of a story. That reality series could have been anyone’s guess because Brandi did not name the show. (Even though you would have to be in a coma not to guess which show she was talking about)

When the news that Brandi Glanville was approached to appear as herself on LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s stupid new show broke last night (and she was all HELL TO THE NO!), I about died…for real. I was going to use these juicy tidbits in blind items next week, but now I don’t have to! Thanks, LeAnn…ya dingbat.
A couple of days ago, I received an email from “Carissa” (she asked to remain anonymous) telling me about a hilarious casting experience when she answered an ad for a ‘ginger woman 21-40 with a bubbly/over the top personality for a reality show’ posted both on Craigslist and a local SoCal trade. There were two ‘blonde’ casting calls a couple of weeks prior, and there is supposedly another one in a couple of weeks.
Turns out, it was a casting call for the “Brandi” role on Squints: A Love Story LeAnn and Eddie, VH1’s latest adventure in horrible TV. Here’s an excerpt from Carissa’s email…
“I’ve been to a lot of reality casting calls, and they’re usually packed. If it’s attached to a major network it will be standing room only. This was busy but once the script we were handed was read a bunch of girls walked out. It was very slap stick (sic) and felt like a 3 stooges audition. I had to pretend to walk directly into a door. No joke.”
Both production companies involved with the show were listed on the call sheet, and those who audition had to sign a confidentiality agreement should they be asked back…BECAUSE LEANN RIMES IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE WORLD. The panel consisted of three men and a woman, none were recognizable as a known celebrity.
THEN I get an email yesterday from a writer who answered an ad for a ‘sketch comedy writer’ on Craigslist and was interviewed twice to be a writer on the series. He declined the job because he didn’t want to work under the conditions of the stars having sole control over plot and rewrites, and they asked him to write an entire faux episode to be reviewed. Basically, do a bunch of work (50 pages and a script bible) for free (violation of WGA union regulations) and you MIGHT get the job…which will only pay WGA scale (peanuts). This writer also revealed that two writers he knows have already walked off the job because of the sheer volume of notes on basic treatments being asked for by the exec producers (Eddie and LeAnn). Know what a treatment is? Just an idea a writer has he or she writes out. That’s it. It’s not even a script yet. If someone is being like this for fluff, they will be a complete spaz about the script and it isn’t worth having your name attached to something that is probably going to suck.
So yeah…this show is DOOMED. I bet the Duck Dynasty and network honchos see the writing on the wall for what it is, and know they need Brandi to have any hope of this show getting enough viewers to pay the bills and get advertising. It’s also interesting to note, that there is a rumor circulating that there are certain agents not wanting clients attached to this project, which is why they’re hitting up Craigslist. The show will go on, though. People in Hollywood are hungry and desperate enough to do just about anything for a paycheck.

But the article pontes out something else interesting. It says that after Leann was tweeting about Cabo, Brandi tweeted something herself, like ‘Cabo is calling!’ then saying she was planning to go, right after she turned in her second manuscript.

Hakura, surely you know Cabo is a very popular tourist destination. Many people vacation there and enjoy it, and it has NOTHING to do with LoonAnn treating her brought husband and his friends with many vacations there.

I don’t agree that they are all nuts. Have you ever had to deal with a crazy personality? You sort of become nutty when you deal with crazy. LeAnn is the certified one in this mess and Brandi has to stick up for herself, which makes Brandi look crazy by default. I may be wrong but I don’t think Brandi even starts a fraction of the battles that LeAnn starts. Granted, Brandi has started to use this to garner publicity for herself but I sort of see that as using lemons to make lemonade (and pay her mortgage, support her kids!)
There is a definite antagonist and the others are her supporting players, willing or not. Bottom line it’s all stupid but LeAnn is never going to see that and she will keep creating dramas as long as it gets her attention.
True. But Brandi is an agressive person when angry. She just justifies her over-the-top behavior by saying she’s that way when she feels attacked. Her tweet over being held up by the baggage person or whoever it was at the airport and missing her flight was low life and tacky, the type of insults she used. Brandi is one immature person. But LeAnn is the true crazy one in the triangle and the obssessed one.
But it’s been four years and what was of interest with these three has really dwindled. The story is old and boring. LeAnn will get no more mileage off of it nor will Brandi. She will move on to a different storyline and LeAnn will take longer to get the drift that people don’t care anymore save the few on the internet. I look forward to the day all her Daily Mail bikini shots dry up.

Brandi has her moments, but is basically decent and ends up on the defensive a lot. Leann is a master manipulator- though she’s off her game lately, I think she’s lazy and drinking too much- and she likes to antagonize Brandi until she explodes. If Leann was near my kids half the time, I’d be homicidal, much less have her considering herself the third parent.

Leann’s career and life are circling the drain, to some extent she knows it, and inevitably blames Brandi for it. I can’t blame Brandi for her schadenfreude, after what she was put through. Leann tweeted endlessly about her illness, and then put up photos of Eddie working with tools (a tool with tools!), their home gym going up (with herself in the reflection wearing short shorts) and hasn’t put the phone down for a second (literally about 200 tweets). She probably DID have her agent approach Brandi, Brandi laughed at her on Twitter, and Leann gets publicity for her show. The problem is, she did this with her crap album and the tactic didn’t work. Leann has been blatantly stalking the Jennifer Sale (writer at JustSayJenn) and Ilana Angel and sending her stans after them, too. She is unraveling at the speed of light, and it is so utterly and completely deserved. She has been outed completely and Brandi is the survivor and the champion. Sucks to be Leann.

Not sure I entirely agree; I think Leann tried to intimidate both Ilana and Jennifer Sale and found that neither of them back down easily and now they enjoy writing about her. She also has piqued their interest because no one else has picked up on just how nutty she is and they’re seeing that they have the jump on other blogs as it comes out. Though it does sound as though Ilana drinks quite a lot, but that could also just be her way of joking around and exaggerating for the sake of humor.
I don’t think lr would ever willingly let ediot within ten ft of brandi. This had to have been a last ditch effort direct from vh1. They probably did not give her much choice in the matter.
Maybe so. It does seem odd, because Brandi said it was asking regarding just a couple of episodes. Whereas, they have been interviewing actresses for a recurring role for the wife, Brandi. So how would the real Brandi fit in for one or two episodes? So it doesn’t make sense. Whatever the case, the show sounds like a hot mess and no one is going to watch it. I almost cringe and feel bad for LeAnn that she has lowered herself to this level instead of focusing on her career more and rehabilitation within the country music community.
Posting selfies ad nauseum and being in your bikini by alerted paps or your own selfies (and we all know that’s coming also on the show. LeAnn in her bikini) and LeAnn’s odd plastic surgery has left her completely unappealing even for a reality show on VH1 since it will be fake and phony anyway. I doubt I will even watch one show to see the mess because I don’t think I can stomach it.
People are really sick and over the triangle of these three, so long past any interest in this.
Eddie still gets some work. I don’t get why he’s doing this instead of focusing on his career in whatever way he can. This doesn’t help it. I predict this colossal failure is really going to hurt their marriage or at the least, LeAnn will be off the rails again.
I’m guessing the scripted Brandi on the show is not going to be shown in the best light, so there’s no way Brandi would star as herself (if even for a few episodes) — Maybe they wanted her to appear as a guest star as a different character?? It would be ratings gold, but I don’t think you could pay Brandi enough to do it.

This “upcoming reality show”–aka as a sitcom–will be a failure. The only queston in my mind is: would we get more enjoyment out of this failure if it never makes it on the air–OR if a couple episodes make it on the air and then it’s cut (not unlike EC’s Playboy Club”). Any opinions?
I would feel better if it NEVER makes it to air, because then it would make Leann and Eddie look more like utter fools than they already are. They would have to endure fielding questions from people as to why the show failed and couldn’t make it to air. Of course Leann will lie compulsively seeing she has no regard for the truth (our truth) EVER.
I tend to agree with you. While it would be entertaining to watch one episode to see how BAD it is going to be, I think it would be more humilating to LR and EC if it never made it on the air. Either way it is doomed! They are both losers!!
One episode would be good, just to see what this scripted reality (in their minds) is really like. They should just save some change and write the show themselves, since at least one of them believes they are incredibly creative.

Why would LeAnn EVEN respond to a tweet that said “A certain soon to be new reality slash script series.” In Brandi’s tweet she didn’t mention the name of the show. It could have been ANY reality show. Instead, LeAnn is following Brandi’s Twitter, waiting to pounce, knowing Brandi would let the cat out of the bag. And like a fool, LeAnn responds and contacts the tabloids on her payroll. Maybe stressing over this is what got her “sick” to begin with. Nobody can tweet as much as she does and be sick.

Most of my childhood I had a problem with my tonsils and believe me there is no way you can be up and about twittering. I would be in bed for several days with a fever. Plus there is no way you could eat anything due to the swollen,infected tonsils.
Exactly. Tonsilitis is due to an infection. It causes pain, fever. You would be in bed, tired and achey not flitting around the house tweeting and overseeing the installation of the new home gym with a big smile on your face.

Exactly!! I also suffered with tonsillitis growing up, and it kept me in bed for a few days with fever. I don’t believe she is sick at all honestly. I think she did her usual cancel the show because Eddie couldn’t go due to the new Gym renovation, and an opportunity for him to get off the leash, guess she ruined that latter part for him. lol
The immediate freak out from Leann is what lets you know it’s true: someone from Leann’s show approached Brandi’s people and she turned them down. Leann is freaked out that this was leaked and before the endless derision in the tabloids starts, she’s trying to stop it. But she jumped the gun, so every knows it’s true.
My guess is that the person who came up with the idea to approach Brandi was Eddie. I would guess he did it behind Leann’s back, smooth. Too bad, Brandi should’ve said yes and watched him squirm.

I give Brandi a pass on her aggressive behavior because if I had to deal with Lee Ann on a regular basis, I’d go insanely aggressive too, would any of you like to deal with her/work with her etc? And to know you are stuck with her due to your kids is beyond scary too.

I think being a celebrity for so long has given her such a distorted sense of reality that she thinks the rest of us are too stupid to get it . her life looks pretty dull , being obsessed with eddie who doesnt have a job or do anything , and running around tweeting pics of her horseface are all she really does . besides co-opting other peoples lives… id watch this show , if only to root for brandi and laugh at how self absorbed those two really are. seriously , if u are sick shut the hell up and go to bed .
If you google to blockebyleann twitter, the site just nailed Leann for not being sick as she posted a picture of herself taking pictures of her new work-out room being installed in her house. Someone should send the picture to the organization she cancelled on so they can sue her for breach of contract. Time to turn the table on a person who is “sue” happy.

It’s bad enough when women fight over a guy who actually has good looks, talent, and/or a great body. This dude has none of the above. I just don’t get it. He must have some dong on him for these women to be clawing each other’s eyes out, because I don’t see any other reason for all the fuss. There is literally nothing about him that stands out to me in a positive way. I saw his brief stint on that show before it got canceled, and I’ve seen better acting from animals and scenery. That’s a fallacy. Brandi has not fought for Eddie since she threw him out. Her issues revolve around her sons, since Leann has appointed herself the third parent and crosses all lines of decency with them and then harasses Brandi or has her crazy fans do it. Only Leann thinks she has won a prize in an aging gigolo.

This is probably what is making leann sick. Sick in the stomach about not knowing what is going to happen. She is a control freak with OCB, ie the perfect pillow stacking. Not having control over her life is making her physically sick. Also why she tweets while ‘sick’ and roams twitter cause she physically cannot stand not just letting things go.

LeAnn’s version of events makes no sense:
1. Brandi’s agent saw a producer at an event and asked if Brandi could be on the show. No response. Wow! Awkward! You’d think the producer could just say “they want to go in a different direction.” Or is LeAnn and Eddie’s co-producer unaware of their feelings on this rather central factor? Also, inquiring at a party is a formal approach, huh?
2. Not to be deterred from getting his client this gig which would conflict with her existing contracts, Brandi’s agent asked VH1 for $25,000 per episode. Again, no response. Not from LeLe, Eddie, other producers, nor VH1. They all have a hard time saying no, I guess.
3. LeAnn didn’t talk about either of these TWO approaches, didn’t hint or joke with her Twitter pals, didn’t “laugh so hard” on Twitter, didn’t tell ROL, didn’t have any of her fans make T-shirts that said, “Piss off Brandi, we don’t want you on the show,” nothing?

They can sniff that Brandi’s not some big draw, but reality TV is about drama. Without it, why are viewers tuning in to Leave It To Ediot? What is it about? A lady who used to be an acclaimed singer drives her stepsons to school in a bikini? Surely not. LeAnn has to know she’s no comedian. Like it or not, the drama between LeAnn and Brandi is the biggest draw this show could have.
As someone said above, they probably wanted Brandi as a guest star playing someone other than the ex-wife character, e.g.: Oh snap, look who is playing the judge in the scene where LeAnn goes to court for a parking ticket in a bikini. HILARITY ENSUES. (LeLe will want B covered up, hence the judge’s robes.)
I have no respect what so ever for Rimes. To not respect Brandi as their mother and plaster pictures all over the internet of Brandi’s children is down right insulting. You can tell the boys do not like Rimes. I don’t know how Brandi hasn’t knocked LeAnn’s face off.
I’m sure Brandi wants to wring Leann’s neck and do a few other unmentionable things to her, but has to stay in control so as to not lose custody of the boys. Leann does everything in her power to push Brandi’s buttons on a daily basis because she is just that evil and vindictive. If Leann had it her way, Brandi would be out of the picture all-together and the boys and Eddie would be hers. I can picture her opening up the door to the boys room while they are sleeping and whispering to them, “You’ll be mine one day, all mine. Your Mom cannot give you what I can”.
Meh, perhaps I have watched way too many made-for-TV movies in my lifetime and have an over-active imagination, but you cannot say I am 100%-totally off.
Jane, you are not totally off. LoonAnn wants those children to be HERS. Could it be because she knows she is never going to have Eddie’s child? I have always thought this might be at least part of why she is so obsessed with the children. I think it’s very possible Eddie either can’t or doesn’t want more children, and she knows it. Why would he want more? He’s over 40, doesn’t work, and all he does is play and vacation. Why would he want to have to deal with crazy and a baby, too? I don’t think he would.
She seems to attract the worst of the stepmom fans, too! They’re either the mistress themselves and love to rub in their new family to the ex, or they’re the new wife who is really enjoying playing house and is obsessed in finding a way to get rid of that pesky mother that’s in their way to having full control.
As a single mom, I would move to another state to keep a leemom from bonusing my kid … taking pics to put on the internet for any leacherous pedo to have a hold of ? i made sure my ex had any pics of our kid put on super family only settings on facebook . Just plain silly to coopt someone elses fam and then wonder why no one thinks you are cute. i dont get making an entire album based on torturing the woman whose fam you went after . I cant stand home wreckers , they all get theirs in the end and then act surprised .

Perfectly said. I’d be homicidal if someone like Leann had access to my kids and could post their pictures, etc, whenever she liked, thanks to their dad wanting her to support him.
Sometimes a person who is over a relationship but dreads confrontation will let the other partner be the one to end the relationship. If she finds someone else or just ends it, then he gets a settlement and less chance of drama than if he says it’s over now. All of this is speculative. They may end up married 25 years (anything is possible).
I think Leann is damaged goods, therefore she couldn’t find another man who would be willing to put up with her. While Eddie is in a town filled with gigolos, the man has lost a good portion of looks and is not a #1 contender for lonely rich women looking for a side-piece. Eddie has to stick with Leann aka (ATM) because she grabbed his b**ls back in 2009 and hasn’t let go since.

You all are probably right about the limited options. He doesn’t strike me as a planner. I think he just rolls with the flow and does whatever is best for his bottom line at the moment. If he goes out on his own, it would take a hefty settlement to keep him in the manner of living he likes, unless he’s willing to work.
@Christin: Yep, Eddie has limited options. He’s not 25 and still full of energy and ambition. He’s a lazy, charming 40 year old with a part-time acting career which can’t possibly support his current lifestyle. While men have longer lifespans in Hollywood, Eddie will only get older and grayer, so his days of being in demand as a hot guy actor are basically gone. And he was never any DeNiro, so he can’t fall back on talent. LeAnn is Ediot’s retirement plan, and let’s face it, he’s done really well for himself.
He can’t do anything about the getting older part but he can alter the graying part. I didn’t think he was that good at acting but haven’t seen much of it. Except for the “happy husband” role he is in now and he isn’t very good at that either. But I still think that if he got rid of SkankAnn he would help himself immensely. I have not watched anything he has been in since hooking up with her. And while I am really disgusted with the way he has let LR “use” his kids, I would promise to watch any future work only IF LR was long gone.

I’ve wondered the same thing! If there is insurance for cancelling a show, is it the celeb who buys it or the venue? Seems like venues would be seeing what is going on and not schedule LR anymore. And they should DEMAND a doctor’s statement!!!
They put out money on adverts and tickets, etc. Then they have to let people know the witch has cancelled. And what about her band and the people who travel with her to concerts? They lose out on pay. What a friggin’ hassle and LR doesn’t give a rip. I’ve had vertigo and it was terrible. I was stuck flat on my back for over two weeks. Leann claimed to have vertigo and then went and swam in a pool? FFS, can’t she even think of how to fake illnesses better? Here, I’ll throw her a bone: recurring mono. I’ve got it (I get flippin’ everything), it crops up randomly, and when it does crop up, it makes me unable to do much for months, though not to the extent of being unable to walk, go on Twitter, or do mild exercise. It also makes one’s throat hurt, so you wouldn’t be able to sing with it.
