Despite about a billion reports to the contrary, Beyonce claims she’s not that big of a diva. In fact, she wants us to believe that she prefers spend her time at home, kicking back in her sweats and watching reruns on T.V. And I absolutely buy every bit of it. Wait. No. But here’s what she wants you to believe.

Beyonce hates being called a diva – and is keen to let everyone know that she is actually really laid back and relaxed.

The former Destiny’s Child star – who married rapper Jay-Z in a secret ceremony early last year – says her favorite past time is to sit in front of the TV watching re-runs of the Cosby Show and Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

She reveals, “I’m not this round the clock diva looking for attention. I’m way more comfortable out of the spotlight and just chilling out with my family.

“I’m very quiet. I love to paint. I love to watch TV though it seems I never get to do it.

“I love a lot old television shows. I still love the Cosbys. I also love the Fresh Prince.”

Best case scenario, Beyonce is admitting she’s a diva except for when she’s home. I think diva behavior is indicative of a lack of true class. And Beyonce’s been a major one lately – even telling the U.S. Secret Service what to do. During the inauguration, she insisted they make an exception to their barricade rules and let her car come pick her up so she wouldn’t have to walk four blocks in the cold. Does that sound like the behavior of a woman who isn’t a diva? Who prefers to just quietly chill and spend a low-key evening vegging out? I don’t think so. It sounds to me like someone who’s high maintenance under any condition. But nice try.
