Here are some photos of Britney Spears in London yesterday and today. We’ve been flooded with images of Britney this week, and I’m not really sure why. She’s in London promoting her new album, and she’s giving radio interviews and stuff, but it’s like the paparazzi still think it’s 2004 and they need to photograph Britney everywhere, doing everything. I will say that Britney looks pretty good in these photos. That beige-camel coat is giving me life. They even let her ride a double-decker bus!

*Britney’s new album now has a name and a release date. The album will be called Britney Jean! Which is an amazing album name. It’s not a Michael Jackson reference though (“Billie Jean”), it’s actually her middle name. The album will be out on December 3, and Britney told Capital FM: “It’s a personal album, and all my family, they all call me Britney Jean, it’s like a term of endearment, and I just wanted to share that with my fans.”
*Will.i.am is the executive producer on the album. So we know it will sound like sh-t.
*E! news has some before-and-after photos of Britney’s “Work Bitch” video shoot, and wouldn’t you know, the post-production on the video was MASSIVE. They basically airbrushed every single part of Britney’s body and face to make her look thinner. Ugh. Just let Britney be Britney.
*Brit loves Miley Cyrus. She said: “My mom and her mom know each other. She’s a girl’s girl and she gets the whole Southern thing. I’m a huge fan of hers. I think she’s brilliant right now.” Yeah. “Right now.” Britney and Miley share a manager too. Because of course they do.
PS… what’s with all the funky shoes and booties?

Agree!! She looked so so good with that shorter do she had for a while, and I LOVED that really light brown hair she rocked for like, ten minutes. She keeps going back to the fake yellow blond extensions, add nd it doesn’t fit her face at all.
Agreed, and I would love it if she went darker, too. Bring back Brunettney, Brit-Brit!

Poor kid! It’s really nice to see how far she’s come since those crazy, bald pics of her wielding an umbrella! She looks healthy and like she’s coming into her own. Way to go Britney!

She looks great but I have to wonder if she really wants to be doing this or if her handlers are pushing her to make the album and promote it along with the Vegas thing. Surely she has enough money that if managed properly she would not have to work anymore right?
She looks happy and healthy. I know this might be shocking to others, maybe she’s working because she wants to and not just sit at home just because of her disorder. If she can continue to work and take care of herself like millions of Americans living with same illness her doing, I do not see the harm. I don’t see her as puppet like everyone else seems to think because of her legal issues. She is not promoting everywhere and not forced to perform at every venue. She makes music and go on tour. Keep doing you Britney.
I agree with that. Getting out and doing something/working is probably extremely healthy for Britney. At least I hope it is.
I will forever love Britney and wish the best for her, but only the last outfit she’s wearing looks somewhat okay :(. She just doesn’t have style.
It’s nice to see her in something besides a short sleeved turtleneck, but she’s just barely making it here. She’s like Katie Holmes, they just never look quite right.
With regard to the air-brushed photos, my issue with that story is that it is quite clear that the ‘pre’ photos are zoomed in and cropped or skewed and the ‘post’ photos are zoomed out thus over-enhancing the effect that she is bigger in one version.
Of course the video has been treated with filters and effects, but that sort of ‘reporting’ really annoys me!

Awwww. Love me some Brit Brit. She looks good. I actually couldn’t have cared less about her during the height of her stardom but her breakdown broke my heart and, it seems, put me forever in her corner.
