More photos from Saturday night’s LACMA Art + Film event. I told you there were a lot of people there! I had to break this up into three posts, that’s how many people were there, and even then, I left out some people like Marg Helgenberger and Wolfgang Puck. So, let’s just get to the fashion, shall we? Here’s Zoe Saldana in Gucci and… call me crazy, but I actually love this dress on her. I’m a sucker for a good sleeve. The sheer panels are curved so that she looks even slimmer, which is a weird idea for someone already this tiny, but overall… I’m surprised by how much I like this dress on Zoe.
Drew Barrymore wore a fancy Vivienne Westwood muumuu. I mean… she’s still carrying some baby weight, which is absolutely normal and fine. So, I get that she’s not back to being 100% comfortable with her body. But is the answer a muumuu?
Sting! Do you care about Sting? I don’t really care about him, but the man looks really good. He’s 62 years old!!! *mind blown*
Jeremy Renner was there too. I’m sorry, but he looks especially dirtbaggy with that facial hair.
How can you not love Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey?
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – why does everyone look pregnant at this event? Is it just the loose Gucci gowns? Anyway, this dress makes a model with a legendary body look dumpy. FAIL.

I don’t like how naked Zoe looks in that dress. I guess I would like it more if it wasn’t reminiscent of the dress Goop wore where we could all see her a$$. Apparently I was seriously traumatized by that.

I don’t even recognize Drew. Not sure what’s going on with her but she looks like Skylar from breaking bad.
And all I can see with Zoe Saldana is all the brightening makeup she has around her eyes, it’s like a Zoro mask. A Zoro mask of terrible make-up.
Why does Drew look so different? She looks nothing like herself.
Have to disagree on Zaldana’s dress. It looks like Gucci pulled a Dr Frankenstein with fabric.
I thought Zoe looked stunning until I saw the dress from the side. I’m so tired of cutouts that show or imply that you’re not wearing panties. Not judging, but to me, that crosses the line from sexy to vulgar.
I’m 100% with you. Why must we be privy to people’s underpants situation or lack thereof?
Having said that, if it weren’t for the whole “pervert-hole-no-panties” thing, Saldana looks great!

I’m no fan of no-panties revealing dress, but I wonder why no-bra revealing (aka side boobs) dresses get a pass almost all the time.
Susan Downey looks great. That illusion cut on the front of Zoe’s dress is very flattering.

I am in LOVE with Susan’s dress. When I was a kid, my mom gave me all her dresses from the 70s to play dress up in, and my favorite one was very similar to Susan’s! Come to think of it, that might be where my love of 70s fashion came from…
Susan Downey and Zoe are the only women to come out of this event unscathed. Not even that in love with Zoe’s dress, but she could wear burlap and still look stunning. The rest of the women look like Palm Beach matrons in their uninspiring mumus.
I love Susan and Robert! I especially love how they always coordinate with each other–her dress and his bowtie go together. They are so cute together–I looked at all the interviews he did after they got engaged, and he was just so happy–he made me smile and feel as giggly as he did during the interview.
And I think Zoe actually looks really good–although I am not a fan of that sheer panel at her waist/crotch level.
Zoe’s dress looks like it’s a repurposed Halloween costume.
It does! And If I could get past Drew’s dress, which I don’t love, those shoes are terrible enough on their own, but with the dress, it looks like she selected the outfit in the dark.
Sting at 62 is wayyyyy hotter than most of his much younger peers.
I think the winner is either Zoe Saldana or Susan Downey.
Drew reminds me of Lisa Marie Presley, in that I think she’s worn something similar to that disaster.

Personally, I think they are all a big fashion fail, except Susan Downey. She looks lovely! I agree with the above poster that Drew may be pregnant again, but, girl, this blanket is not the way to hide it!
Renner must love that tie. He has worn it to many events over the past couple years. I find it interesting people claim he is so in love with his baby momma yet they are never at events together and only once in a blue moon seen out in public with one another. Sonni had the baby 8-9 months ago, so I don’t buy the “she’s a dutiful mom taking care of her baby” excuse as to why she never goes out with Renner. That whole situation is strange. Reports he married her, that he might be gay, that they are friends. Whateves. I guess it keeps dorks like me guessing.
I am the only person who thinks it’s gross when people go out in dresses without any underwear on???? And am grossed out by those who don outfits that specifically illustrate that one is without underclothes, particularly if the dress is on loan???? UGH.

I like Zoe’s dress but it looks a lot like the dress everyone tore Paltrow to shreds for at the Iron Man premiere a few months back.

This may be the first time I saw Zoe wear something I thought was cute. Usually I think she gets dressed in the dark but she pulled it off here.

I like the print on Drew’s wrap-around dress, but the shoes are a mismatch. The color on Susan Downey’s dress is great and it goes very well with her hair color, but it all looks a bit sloppy because she forgot to wear a bra. RDJ always looks great in clothes, but he looks a bit unhappy because Jeremy got to wear his goatee, LOL

Zoe looks great in that dress! She looks great in just about everything she wears – she’s ‘got it’ (just like Diane Kruger’s ‘got it’). Regardless of personal taste, she consistently wears things beyond well.
Drew looks great, too…the shoes are an interesting twist that add the right little bit of something.
The picture of Rosie isn’t the best, but hers is also a winner (saw better pictures of the dress on another website).
The other one isn’t my style, but it looks fine on her (albeit a little boring).
