Duchess Kate repeats a brown Orla Kiely dress in London: lovely & knackered?

wenn20863654

Yay, new Duchess Kate photos. You know what word I’ve always loved? “Knackered”. I guess it’s mostly used as slang in England, but I wish we would use it more in America. To me, in these photos, Duchess Kate looks knackered. She looks absolutely exhausted. Is Prince George sleeping through the night? Does he cry a lot and her nerves are just frayed? I don’t know. I’ll just say that she doesn’t look like she’s getting enough sleep in these photos.

William and Kate made an appearance today in London for the “Only Connects Projects”. Kate’s dress is a repeat – she wore this Orla Kiely in February 2012, for a solo visit to one of the patronages. If I’m not mistaken, just looking through the February 2012 photos, I do think Kate had the hem raised on this dress. Just an inch or two, but this dress used to be closer to knee-length. I’m fine with the dress – I liked it fine last year, and enough time has passed where I’m cool with the repeat. The only thing I really don’t like here is the shoe choice. I’m also pleased that Kate isn’t twirling her sausage curls in these photos. Baby steps.

Only Connect (or the Only Connect Projects) is a charity aimed at rehabilitating prisoners and “disadvantaged youth” through… art, I think. You can read more about their visit here.

PS… I guess I still see grey hair in her roots, right? But at least she’s not doing that terrible center part.

No ringlets and BROWN eyeliner? It’s a miracle! Even looking tired, she looks about a thousand times better here than she has at the last couple of appearances.

I actually like those boots, just not with this outfit.

    • Zimmer says:

Yes, i like the boots too, but really dislike the dress!

    • sumodo1 says:

Same here. She seems to look more accessible in home-y sort of way as we might say in Yiddish “hamishe.” She looks good, no knocks on her, especially those booties! I love them!

    • Santolina says:

The brown eyeliner is more subtle, yes, but the brown dress makes her look even more tired. In color season parlance, she’s a ‘Winter’ (not an ‘Autumn’) and she should stick to those vibrant jewel tones.

      • sienna says:

OMG, I totally remember my mom getting her “season’s done” back in the ’80’s. I remember that and her intricately looped and tied silk scarves. Thanks for the flashback to my childhood!

    • Jaxx says:

I absolutely loved this outfit when I saw it two years ago. I’ve never been one to copy celebs but I loved the outfit so much that I bought some black Aquatalia boots similar to these and bought a dress and black tights to wear with them. I’d never worn boots with a dress before so it was a big change for me. I got so many compliments on that outfit and the Aquatalia boots are the most well made and comfortable boots I’ve ever owned. They make your feet look so slim and tiny! I couldn’t afford to pay $365.00 for her boots but I got a similar style on Amazon for half the price. I would love to have her dress and boots too but brown makes me look ready for a coffin.

      • Bert29 says:

I like seeing the same outfits styled differently. Much more interesting than a new outfit every time. I think the boots look very interesting with the dress too. A little fun, kicky look!

  2. Melissa says:

Now that she has married William and given birth, I find her less and less interesting. Not that she was before, but at least the gossips used to be juicy.

    Meh…

  3. TG says:

I love her outfit. I got my first grey hairs within a few months of baby as well. I definitely think the stress from lack of sleep will due that to you.

    • Florc says:

Kate has had her grays for years now so this is nothing new. Many women do get an increased amount of grays and cavities because of pregnancy.

  4. Stef Leppard says:

The dress looks exactly the same length to me.

    • LadySlippers says:

I think the dress is a tad tighter which would raise the hem by a hair….

And FYI — I like her at this weight. No I’m not knocking her at all. Just observing.

    • Florc says:

It looks exactly the same length to me too. She looks to be at a healthy weight nd I agree fully with LadySlippers

    • L says:

Was going to say this-the daily mail has side by side pics, and it looks like the pregnancy boobs are making the top a bit tighter. Raising the hem a bit, but otherwise its exactly the same.

  5. bettyrose says:

Love love love the dress. Over the hair. Wear it back already.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I love that little bird dress, too. At least the boots aren’t wedges. I think she should cut 4 inches off of her hair. It’s pulling her face down and aging her.

  6. vava says:

She does look exhausted. Her hair is so long, it’s weighted down and looks thin. She really needs a haircut to lighten the weight. Those boots look pretty tired, too….

    • Hazel says:

I agree re: the hair weighing her down & the tired looking boots. I’m not quite sure why she doesn’t vary her accessories when wearing the same dress. She knows she’s going to be photographed, so why not change it up a bit?

  7. CharlotteS says:

I love her dress but the hem really hasn’t been raised, compare these 2 pictures

  8. candice says:

The DM had a brief video of this visit/charity work (?) and it always seems like Kate is in such a rush!

  9. Kate says:

It’s nice to see William with his hand on her back, leading her. He usually walks way ahead of her and leaves her to trail behind like a geisha. In candid (papped) photos, he looks affectionate and holds her hand, but in public he’s normally so stiff and formal and barely seems to recognize her.

    • Roselia says:

I noticed the difference too. And then Charles came out and praised her for her scout work, which has apparently led to more adults signing up. I think there’s an attempt to boost her up in public which might be what she needs.

  10. Luna says:

She looks so exhausted! Hang in there Kate! It will get better when the baby becomes older!

  11. eliza says:

    Her makeup sucks.

Not sure why everyone hates long hair. It’s one of the better things about her if she’d stop the sausage curls and do more with it. Tired of everybody needing to be shorn like a sheep.

    • tessy says:

I think the problem with the long hair is that some have the same style year after year and it gets boring. Especially somebody that can afford to have it styled up differently once in awhile. They don’t don’t suit a pixie cut but nothing wrong with a shoulder length shaggy bob, it will grow out fast if they don’t like it.

I work with a woman who at 62 still has long hair… long stringy thinning white hair and she’s always dragging a pick through it and leaving strands everywhere. Ugh.

  12. janie says:

She looks terrific.. but really thin. She does look tired, joys of being a new mom. I’m sure she’s very hands on with George.

  13. Darlene says:

Being a new mom is hard, even with help. Of course she’s exhausted. If she showed up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, people would criticize her for slacking on her nightly mommy duties. Bless her heart, I’m not sure I wore makeup for the first 4 months of my daughter’s life, let alone made frequent “public appearances.”

I love her and I’m pleased she wore the same dress twice, and I like her curls; my own hair curls like that for about 45 minutes until it settles down into a better style.

  14. Mandy says:

I love English slang! I heard Lisa Vanderpump use the term “bugger off” last night and LOVED it! I’m totally going to start saying that. And I love “knackered” too.

    • Green Girl says:

      “Gobsmacked” is my all-time favorite!

    • NYC_girl says:

I had a Brit boyfriend for a few years (loved him madly) and my favorite saying of his was “get your kit off.” 😉 “Bugger off” was great too. I also loved the different pronunciations of words, like GAR-age. And words like petrol and car-park, and jumper (sweater in the UK, but a once-piece thing in the US).

      • loveisthecoal says:

I LOVE so many British English words. Most of them are a bit more, er, vulgar 😉 but there are so many I wish would come into common usage in American English!

      • gg says:

They already are, thanks to the internet.

  15. Anna says:

I actually think it’s silly that she wore the exact same outfit as before. Can she not mix it up, at least with different shoes or hairdo or SOMETHING?

    • ag-UK says:

I bet that hairdo won’t change EVER… they love the big blow dryed look (eg Murray’s girlfriend too) I can’t see her cutting it much shorter either maybe 1-2 inches but that’s it. She is really pretty but just sort of boring.

    • Hazel says:

I know, right? She’s got lots of accessories, why not change it up?

    • Green Girl says:

I have no problems at all with her recycling her clothes, but yeah, I think it’s odd that it’s an EXACT replica of the first time she wore this dress. She doesn’t have any other shoes that could work, or at least a different purse? The way I look at it is, a skilled dresser can re-wear any outfit in their wardrobe, but make it look new by incorporating a different belt or some other accessory.

  16. Bianca says:

I know the “sausage curls” leit-motiv is meant to be ironic, but come on. Her hair is straight in these pictures. (Also, I’m feeling increasingly self-conscious about my curly hair…I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having curls, but surely there seems to be something controversial about it? I mean, do I need to straighten my hair in order to look grown-up and sophisticated?)

    • Azurea says:

Absolutely not! I have grown my hair out for the first time in (cough) years, to about 3″ past my shoulders, with a bit of layering. I usually curl it — (my hair is very straight) — because it just looks better that way with my face. It starts out curly & then quickly settles down into nice waves. I’d love to have natural curly hair! You’re lucky, Bianca!

    • Jackie Jormp Jomp (formerly Zelda) says:

Huh? I think you’re being way too sensitive. Those lazy Real-Housewife curls are what is being mocked, because they are tired and cheesy. I don’t know how you got that curly-haired people are being maligned here.

      • bluhare says:

Might be because there was a discussion on the last Kate thread about how curly hair is seen as being less professional and polished.

      • Bianca says:

Jackie – I guess you’re kind of right, I was probably being oversensitive, but that’s probably because I got teased A LOT about curly hair while growing up so I tend to be defensive about it. As Bluhare pointed out, though, I *was* referring to a general trend I noticed in the recent Kate threads – people commenting on the fact that curly hair in general is somewhat childish, less polished, etc. That’s the kind of thing I find annoying.

      • Florc says:

        Bianca
I’ve known a few women in a professional setting that flat iron out their curls every morning becuase they thought the curls and waves made them look like floosies (sp?). Their words, not mine. Meanwhile I had spiral perms every 6 months for a few years to get curls so be proud of them:). Everyone has a preference I guess.
Anyways, I guess I missed the Kate posts about curly hair being childish.. Certainly how she twirled and tugged at it made her seems childish, but that’s based on her actions and not because of her hair style.

      • vava says:

I think the ringlets we saw last week could be considered ‘childish’. Maybe that’s where the curl comments came from. I like curly hair, myself, I just think Kate overdoes it with her rollers.

    • HH says:

I don’t think you’re making the appropriate distinctions here. Kate doesn’t have curly or even wavy hair. She particularly puts little ringlets towards the ends of her hair. Those are the sausage curls.

    • LAK says:

Kate has curly frizzy hair. We saw it in the beach photos and also on parts of her asian tour.

      • LAK says:

This is Kate back in University days pre- style makeover. Please note the hair.

      • Florc says:

        LAK
Her appearance has changed so much since then. The most shocking thing about that picture though is William has Hair! He was very cute. Shame thoe Spencer genes gave way. Shame.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

        I’ve never seen those photos..
Personally, I think she looks much better with her natural curls.

..and I never realized how much weight she’s lost…wow…

      • Suze says:

Duchess Catherine looks entirely different from Kate Middleton.

And it’s not just a “natural” change that occurred during the intervening years.

I don’t blame her, after all, being in the public eye is crazy making. It’s just the folks who claimed she was “naturally thin” and had “effortlessly gorgeous” hair are wrong.

  17. ReturnoftheMac says:

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it might be possible that she’s pregnant again. She seems to have that first trimester look of exhaustion.

  18. Sisi says:

She doesn’t look tired to me, she always had baggy eyes. She looks fine.

  19. LAK says:

I think William looks happier, softer in public since PG was born. He looks more like he usually does when he is doing stuff he loves like Polo as opposed to having that sour puss, bored expression he frequently had when carrying out his duties.

    • Roselia says:

I agree. I am wondering if it’s a true change of heart, a softening or if he realizes that his public image must change.

    • MavenTheFirst says:

Or maybe he’s glad to be rid of his “job” and have this ‘gap’ year. And maybe he’s enjoying his semi-bachelorhood buggering off with his cronies at every opportunity. He looks very well rested for a new dad.

      • LAK says:

I am trying to have positive thoughts about William. You are killing that buzz. LOL. He does look very well rested and refreshed, doesn’t he? i actually think he has taken off a couple of years. It’s amazing.

Meanwhile, Kate has acquired another baby AND they’ve stopped photoshopping her as much as they used to do. people who were used to the photoshopped Kate are shocked at how ‘tired’ she looks. As someone said below, poor Kate. Can’t catch a break.

      • MavenTheFirst says:

        @LAK,

        LOL!
Are you telling me that she’s always looked like this??? Yikes! I had no idea. With her looking worse and him looking better, it makes me think of vampires sucking the life out of you. Ha!

  20. Surely says:

Yikes, I see white hairs peeking out.. the stress of being a royalty getting to her??

    • Justme says:

You can have white hairs without being stressed. It’s all in genetics. Since the advent of easy hair coloring we have tended to forget that many people do go grey at at fairly young age. My first grey hair was at 18 – I was no more stressed than anyone else – and I wasn’t a royal!

She looks fine to me – a bit tired maybe, but babies can do that. They both seem happy.

  21. blue marie says:

I always thought knackered was “piss drunk”, learn something new every day. I like her dress, hate the tights. (although I always hate the tights)

  22. mimi says:

I really like the whole look…dress, tights, booties. She wears it well. The booties give the outfit a more fun and youthful feel to it.

    • Ktx says:

I agree. Love the booties! They definitely make the outfit more fun and youthful. And I do think she looks tired, but I don’t think this is such a bad thing. “Tired” Kate looks softer, not as harsh as she did before she got pregnant. I think she’s looking more naturally pretty these days.

  23. Florc says:

Kate looks normal. Maybe a bit tired, but she looks like her true image and not the edited photos. She’s almost always showing her double bags under her eyes and jowls. It looks more like she’s not getting touched up as much.

The dress pattern looks horrible, but I wonder if it looks better in person.

Does anyone have the ID on those booties?

    • HH says:

It looks like whatever treatments she was getting have stopped. During the engagement up until her pregnancy her face had definitely changed since her college and post-college years. It wasn’t just aging or weight loss.

I like the idea behind this outfit, just not the pieces used. It’s fall appropriate, but I dislike the dress pattern as well. Boots are cute with this dress, but these particular boots have been worn a lot and look a tad scruffy. She’s had them for years now.

I’ll admit that I’m one of those people that she can’t win over style wise. Part of it is just because I’m just not a fan of her overall style. It has always been very bland (to me), but I do give her credit for staying true to her style throughout her time in the spotlight. The other issue is that she is not good at finishing touches such as hair, shoes, and accessories. She doesn’t need to step outside the box as much as style the outfit better sometimes.

    • Maggie says:

Just viewed the photos of her in blue jeans. That woman has a fabulous figure!!! He hair is probably falling out due to hormones. it will come back to what it once was. Mine did.

      • Florc says:

If that’s a figure she naturally has or one she maintains through healthy eating and exercise habits I would agree it’s fabulous. That’s just not the case though.
Her hair there is fuller than it was for years of her life. During her pregnancy she lost the fake hair and wiglets. What we see know is her natural volume +pregnancy hormone volume.

  24. Jaded says:

That hair really drags her face down and creates some bad shadowing on her already tired face – she really needs to go shorter and layered or at least tie it back.

English slang is the best – I personally love “wanker”. A good example of a wanker is James Franco.

  25. Esti says:

I loved this dress the first time, so I’m happy to see it again. I do think it’s possible that she’s pregnant again (she’s looked a bit tired the past few appearances, and stopped coloring her hair), but she didn’t show early with George so it’s hard to say.

  26. KirstyM says:

Knackered is used all the time in England! Also slang words for tired – shagged out, f*cked, wankered, mullered and shattered.

And someone like Kate would be told that they had eyes like piss holes in the snow. Bless her.

She looks miserable, poor cow. I can’t imagine William is easy to be married to. I think he is a very tricky character which has been covered up so far because of his youth and the Diana tragedy. I thought he acted a bit bossy with her outside the hospital.

And now I sound like one of the lunatic royal obsessives from the daily mail comments section. I don’t care really.

    • Florc says:

      KristyM
I think most of your comment is fairly rude. I thought posters only used the KK threads to call a new mom a cow.

Anyways, to the William being bossy bit. Kate almost never looks like she knows what she’s doing at these events. Even less so when William is around. Maybe there’s the added stress of making sure she does everything correctly so he’s not upset with her. In this case, at least he’s having some form of contact with her. Between him paying no attention to her and William directing her by nudges i’ll take William guiding her with his hand on her back.

      • KirstyM says:

Oh, I didn’t mean it to sound as rude as it comes across. Apologies for that. Poor cow is not as insulting in the English vernacular as it may sound.

In the footage outside the hospital he was muttering ‘stand here, move there’, then all false laughter and swanning off to the car with his protective office leaving her behind.

I think he is rather frosty to be honest. False Etonian charm.

      • Florc says:

        KristyM
Thanks for the clarification. And I agree about William. He seems extremely controling with a nasty temper and there’s almost no one who will stand up to him. Kate is living a very luxurious life now, but at the cost of having him as a husband.

    • wolfpup says:

      Agree, about William.

    • LAK says:

FLORC: ‘Cow’ is a slang word we use in everyday speech whose meaning changes according to how it’s deployed. It can be deployed as an insult and as an affectionate term.

In the comment above, it’s deployed as affectionately sympathetic because poster has added it after pointing out how miserable Kate looks and prefacing it with the word ‘poor’. They then go on to speculate about the reasons Kate might look the way she does.

My only experience of it in American speech is via the Simpsons and i believe in that scenerio it is only meant to insult, no?

      • Jane says:

Yeah, calling someone a cow in the U.S. would be an insult in just about any situation.

      • KirstyM says:

That’s interesting that cow is really insulting in the US. In the UK it is said almost with affection. Say if you’re grumbling to a family member about having a bad day they might say ‘you poor old cow’ sympathetically.

And of course typing that out makes it look ridiculous. Which it is probably.

      • Florc says:

        LAK
I thought it odd that Kristy’s comment was nice enough, but she called Kate a “cow”. It didn’t line up for me.
Cow is about the same as calling someone a Pig. You’re a dirty herd animal pretty much. I’ve never thought it could be used in a sympathetic way since relating someone to an animal is almost always very insulting.

The Simpsons use the “Don’t have a cow” more like.. Don’t freak out to the point it looks like you’re birthing a cow.. Pretty crude.

      • LAK says:

        Florc/Jane: Thanks for that clarification.

KirstyM: I’ve tripped up on many occasions when talking to Americans, but i think these past 2yrs where i’ve been commenting on CB, i’ve had an education in Americanisms. It’s fascinating.

    • MavenTheFirst says:

I, too, think she looks miserable. That maniacal grin and triumphant spark are gone. I wonder what’s really happening. Like why did she cancel out of the Winter Ball at KP, where she lives?

      • Dena says:

Yeah. I think something else is going on too. Perhaps she is overwhelmed with her reality now that she has the baby. It all could have been play-acting and romanticizing her situation up to and prior to the birth of PG but now it’s like she’s come to the realization that “this sh*t is for real!” And as someone mentioned before upthread, she now has two babies on her hands and wants the eldest one weened. She may even have begun to resent William and her situation just a wee bit & is doing passive aggressive things to gain some power & control, i.e, strict dieting, inappropriate/unbefitting behavior at public events, canceling appearances for no known reason, etc. All speculation . . . of course.

I like her booties. She should change up / mix & match her pieces if she is going to keep them in circulation. The dress is not me but it’s okay. I am shocked she didn’t pair the dress with those knee-high suede boots that you couldn’t pry her out of a couple of years back. I don’t know if you all recall but she wore them with practically everything.

  27. P.J. says:

I love that whenever there are new pics of Kate post baby that everyone’s immediate go to is that she must be SO tired from the baby keeping her up all night crying. Sure. Because the total myth that these two have been-and are still-doing all of the full time, round the clock childcare for their 4 month old alone still prevails! (Even on non-blindly pro Will and Kate propaganda sites like this one.)

To be clear: they have help! And likely lots of it. Now, if the stories are true, then little Georgie is a very um, opinionated and vocal little guy and has been from day one. However, that doesn’t change that fact that Kate is very likely not-not has she ever been-the sole person taking care of him through the night like most new moms who EARN all of this “exhaustion” sympathy. Not saying she doesn’t look extremely tired here, but of course she does: This woman has never had to commit to anything even remotely exhausting in her whole life pre-motherhood! Just trying to keep it a little bit real here y’all 🙂

    • caitlin says:

Excellent post – this thread needed a shot of reality and you delivered. Thank you!!

    • MavenTheFirst says:

      Amen.

    • Florc says:

This is a pro-Kate site? Her fans that post here and other sites aside. The articles are written in a pretty critical way. She gets called out.

    • Dena says:

Thank you for that cup of reality!

    • MissyJones says:

She may have help. Actually I think loads of help. But If she is breast feeding and if PG is a demanding child who wakes up every three hours to feed then it can explain the exhaustion. Because all the help in the world cant BF your baby :). Just my two pence.

  28. vylette says:

I think the lack of eyeliner is making her eyes look tired and bags more prominent. Otherwise she lookd ok. If she is nursing at night still then she is bound to look “knackered”. Most babies sleep through the night only after the 4-6day months. Also when nursing, as during pregnancy, its best to avoid dyes. Which can explain the grey hair. I dont think she’s pregnant again. Overall I am warming up to her now. Btw is it just me or she is upping her engagements post pregnancy?

    • Ktx says:

Yes, but isn’t the lack of eyeliner such an improvement?!?! Agree, she seems to be fulfilling more of her royal duties these days. I hope she keeps it up.

    • Sachi says:

She and William always pick up more engagements near the end of the year. A holiday to some exotic location might be in the works.

This is only the 6th-7th event she’s done since going on maternity leave 6 months ago.

There is still the Winter Whites gala that she was originally supposed to host, her name on the invitations and the event hyped up for many weeks in advance, but now she’s not attending. No reason was given other than it’s the charity organization’s “fault”, something that was not corrected for so long until it was announced out of the blue that Kate isn’t attending and people were asking why. The blame fell on Centrepoint.

    • Dena says:

Looks like it to me especially when you look at how it falls from the back and drapes around her shoulders to the front. Personally, I’d be too damned scared that it’s going to slide off to wear it—especially given how much she likes to toss her hair. Talking about paranoid and anxious . . . I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on anything but that.

  29. Reece says:

Still like the dress, still hate the booties! Still too matchy matchy.
I don’t think it’s shorter either. I think (I think) she still has a a lb or two form George so it looks shorter. I’m tired of talking about the hair.

My favorite Brit slang is bugger. I’ve been using that since 4 Weddings and a Funeral. 🙂

  30. Penelope says:

She looks a little tired but cute as can be, as usual. Love the outfit.

I don’t get it. My clothing allowance isn’t funded by taxpayers or am I the wife or mother of two future kings, but why is she repeating clothes? Especially ones she wore to public events? I repeat my every day wear, not my special events clothes. No way. Too much pressure from society on her about something as simple as clothes. She doesn’t even have to pay for clothes, designers would send her free clothing for her entire life. But apparently that also is an issue, designers sending her expensive clothing.

      MsDaisy
She repeats outfits so we notice and praise her for being frugal. Meanwhile she shops almost daily.
Also, she’s not suppose to accept freebies. This however is questionable after it was admitted Will and Kate have been accepting gifts in the form of helicopter rides.
And I think it’s be stated Charles is the one footing the bill for her clothes, but yea it all goes back to tax payers one way or another.

While I don’t necessarily disagree with the comments on Kate looking a bit rough, Bill Middleton is not much to look at himself. Despite living the “easy” life – no real job or related stress, minions waiting on him hand and foot, he looks rather worn out and a lot older than his chronological age for sure.

Whatever cosmetic treatments she was getting in 2011 and pre-pregnancy seem to have stopped. Her face wasn’t this saggy and dehydrated last year. I don’t think it’s just tiredness from looking after a baby. She’s also not wearing a lot of makeup.

She’s probably combining dieting, exercising, and breastfeeding/caring for George. That kind of routine would easily tire anyone.

My cousin lost a lot of weight the first 4-5 months with her son with no dieting/exercise. She looked exhausted, like she’s slowly withering. But she had that “exhausted but happy” look in her eyes. She gained back the weight a couple of months later.

They have a growth spurt at 4 months, too, and even if they’re on formula nature makes them constantly want to feed, because if breastfed they have to stimulate mom’s milk supply that way. If she’s genuinely feeding herself, then she’ll very likely be up through the night with him most nights at the moment for that reason.

Have to say that that colour and style of dress doesn’t help a tired and pale woman, though.

This is totally off topic, but I am constantly surprised by the gracelessness of her walk.
I am not suggesting she should be mince-stepping daintily, but there are plenty of options in-between.
Her strides, especially, are worthy of Duke – as in: John Wayne – rather than a duchess.
Or a woman, plain and simple.

I get this feeling that she lacks body-sense: the awareness of one’s movements in space, the tendency to engage the space, as it were, in a visually graceful manner.

Otherwise, she looks just fine to me. Tired, yes, maybe, but fine nevertheless.
And the dress is beautiful, even though i dislike brown hues myself.

her posture is questionable, if you ask me. I attribute it to the high heels – I think she’s really not used to wearing them except for official events where she wants to tower over everybody. She really should wear lower heels……….I think her posture would improve. Her feet might thank her, too.

  35. Hazel says:

I was a bit taken aback by her comment on the sewing projects, how it was ‘fiddly’ work, when it was just this ‘fiddly’ work that made all that lovely lace for her wedding gown.

  36. Dena says:

OR the tired and drained look is a “ploy” to keep Big Willy emotionally tethered to her. After all there is no joy is being a new mom. It’s all pain, suffering, sacrifice & exhaustion (breast feeding, diapers, sleepless nights, trying to figure out what baby wants). What a martyr and a paragon of virtue?

  37. Agnes says:

I think you all dramatize. She looks tired, but not super tired with her life. I think she just had a rough sleepless night or a couple of nights, probably little George was sick or something and kept crying all night.
She’s still beautiful, but she’s a mommy, give her a break.
