Kanye West rants about interracial dating, Lenny Kravitz, Louis Vuitton & more!

Here are some photos of Kanyeezington and his fiancée Kim Kardashian yesterday in NYC. These are actually from two photo sets, one day and one evening. That’s why Kanye’s clothes are different in some of the photos. What does their body language say to you? CB and I were discussing this early this morning – we were wondering what Yeezington is like as a fiancé, just how controlling and insane and rant-prone he is in private. I kind of wonder how Kim puts up with him, but then again… maybe being “legitimatized” by Kanye is worth it. I don’t know. But she does look sad and out-of-it a lot these days. Still, Kanye is all about the Kardashians these days. During a radio interview, he talked about how the Kardashians are important because… something something interracial dating. I didn’t get the full argument he’s making:

The Yeezus rapper discussed his music and his fashion with Washington, D.C.’s 95.5 WPGC (a Radio.com station) on Monday and that’s where he dropped the bombshell that he believes his fiancée Kim Kardashian’s family is changing how people look at interracial relationships.

“A lot of what the Kardshians do,I don’t think they get enough credit for what they do. They prep America to accept interracial relationships,” he said about the family he’s marrying into. Kim’s sister Khloe Karsdashian is married to Lamar Odom, an African-American, and her younger sisters have dated African-American men as well.

“I’m not talking about me, I can hope on a plane. I can date a white woman, I can date a black woman, and no matter what they say in the barber shop don’t matter, because I don’t get my haircut there,” he said and laughed. “For the people that do, though, there’s a white woman that’s getting talked down to by her friends because she’s dating a black guy. Now you’ve got a point of reference, that you can say, ‘Well, actually this couple right here, that’s dope.’”

He spoke a few times about his daughter, North West, and said that all of his business decisions he makes with her in mind.

“One of the reasons I left Nike. They did offered me a deal for Yeezy after seven years of power but there was no royalty connected to it. I can’t look my daughter in the eyes and say I’m giving the best years of my life in creativity and I see nothing from it.

During a different radio interview (with 92.3 NOW) yesterday, Kanye also went off on a tangent/rant about Louis Vuitton. He ordered his minions: “Everybody in New York City right now, don’t buy any Louis Vuitton until after January.” Apparently, he’s mad at the head of LV, Yves Carcelle, because Carcelle refused to meet with Kanye when Ye was in Paris. Oh, the high-fashion drama!!! But that’s not even all of it. During Kanye’s concert on Sunday, he went off on a rant about Lenny Kravitz too:

Kanye West wowed the Garden Sunday night — but interrupted the concert for a 20- minute rant against the fashion industry, calling himself “The 2Pac of this [bleep]” and the “No. 1 rock star on the planet.”

In the middle of a blistering performance, West went on a bizarre diatribe about Lenny Kravitz — not realizing that Kravitz was actually there in the audience cringing. Before a crowd that included Leo DiCaprio, Idris Elba, Busta Rymes and John McEnroe, West raved, “It’s so funny when people compliment me and they say the word ‘genius’ as if that somehow separates me from other rappers in some way . . . I need you all to realize that Jay Z is a genius, and Drake is a genius . . . we are the modern day poets, obviously.”

He continued, “There wouldn’t be no song called ‘N****s in Paris’ without Lenny Kravitz, because he was the first n**** in Paris. Lenny has the best taste and the dopest crib in Paris . . . he designs furniture and he had been working on a clothing line for a long time . . . I said, ‘Wait a second, I’ve got a dream of doing a clothing line.’ You know what the billionaires told me while I was in Paris? They said Lenny wanted the same thing, like it was a joke. . . There wouldn’t be no Kanye West if it wasn’t for Lenny Kravitz. The only difference is I turn up on those n****s, I don’t give a [bleep] about looking cool or being cool, and this is no disrespect to Lenny.”

While an embarrassed Kravitz was heard saying, “He doesn’t know I’m here,” Kanye continued, “Have you heard anyone talk [bleep] about Lenny Kravitz? He’s a nice guy, he’s so well mannered. I envy people who are extremely likeable, I’m like, ‘Damn, I wish I could be likable like that.’ ”

Of designer Hedi Slimane: “He’s trying to tell the No. 1 rock star on the planet where the [bleep] he can go! [Bleep] fashion . . .I am going to tell you right now. I am the Tupac of this kind of [bleep].”

[From Page Six]

Yeezus bless the autotuned rants. I seriously can’t get enough of them. Remember when Lady Gaga used to say all of this crazy crap about how she was Art and Fashion and Life and everyone was like, “cokehead drama queen.” I feel like Kanye is doing that now while Gaga tries to figure out her next move. Kanye is out-Gaga-ing Gaga. Also: “Damn, I wish I could be likable like that.” Then stop going on autotuned rants, dude!

Another day, another psychotic rant from a narcissistic , mentally unbalanced man.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

+1. I really do believe he’s mentally ill.

      • claire says:

        +100
        This guy is not sane.

      • Kcaia says:

I don’t think he’s crazy at all. I just think he says what he feels. most people are too worried about what others will think to say the things they really think and feel. there was a study done that found when people are alone they exhibit behaviors that would be considered mentally insane, speaking to themselves, making crazy sounds and noises and gestures, laughing to themselves and dancing around to no music, and that’s just behaviors. Kanye isn’t the only person that thinks highly of himself, he just speaks the thoughts in his mind that most people would keep private. I think Kanye just doesn’t give a F about what anybody thinks, and I respect that. now I’m off to find the link to that study.

      • Tiffany :) says:

Kcaia, other people don’t say and do things many times because they have consideration for other people’s feelings. Kanye is ALL about Kanye. There is nothing else in there.

      • Kcaia says:

I don’t know about that, Tiffany. I’m of the opinion after reading many comments on this site and others the people really don’t give a crap about anybody’s feelings, or the majority of people, at least. maybe these people wouldn’t say the type of things they do in public but they still say and think them. it’s also my opinion that what type of person one really is, is usually not the public persona they put out. it could be better judged by seeing the things people say on these type of sites then the things they say to people they know, it shows the real inner person. k

      • Kiddo says:

I don’t know about you, but as weird as I am as a human, I don’t have thoughts that I’m a genius or a god (even metaphorically speaking). What I write, in terms of opinions on the net, is not any different than what I would say in person. That said, I don’t think anyone can diagnose Kanye. He may or may not be mentally ill, have a personality disorder, a persecution complex, or any other such thing. However, my observations are that he is predictable and consistent in complaining and tossing hyperbole around like nobody’s business.

      • Jane says:

Kcaia, I have no problem with people who speak their minds and think highly of themselves. Everyone should have a health dose of confidence and self respect. But, if you have to constantly sound off about your opinions, especially to as many people as you can reach via the media, and those opinions are always linked to how fabulous you are, then there is a mental health issue going on. He has a maniacal drive to tell everyone how just how spectacular he is, he compares his situation to slavery (delusions and/or being totally ignorant of his own people’s history), he takes the microphone away from an award winner during their speech to state his own opinion of who should have really won, the list goes on and on. The man has serious problems and he whines a lot.

      • LAK says:

After seeing how thoughtful he was on PMK’s talkshow, not forgetting his initial interviews when he was first successful, i’m convinced he is simply trolling people.

Kind of how boxers say bizarre headline grabbing things to focus attention and public support on them.

everything he says isn’t a mistake. It works and so he will continue to troll until it stops working.

Does anyone think someone brought up by an English Professor is as ignorant [oxford and urban dictionary definitions] as his rants indicate? His songs draw from a wide range of inspiration that shows someone who isn’t as ignorant [oxford and urban dictionary definitions] as his rants imply.

He is trolling. Pure and simple.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

@Kiddo – I agree only a doctor can diagnose him. I just think people close to him should be aware that he is exhibiting signs of mental illness as I listed below. Whether or not it’s all an act, of course I have no idea.

      • rosetta_stoned says:

Oh man, the SECOND I read Kcaia’s reference to this ‘study’, I knew exactly which ‘study’ she was talking about because I love the Onion. I still can’t believe someone thought it was a real study just because they cited Cornell. No wonder so much mis-information is passed around every minute and there are so many outraged yet uninformed people on social media.

Opinions are one thing, I love a good opinion free-for-all (Celebitchy!!) but when you start throwing your ‘facts’ into the debate, maybe make sure they didn’t come from THE FREAKING ONION

      • Kcaia says:

Rosetta, you’re absolutely right, but I still stand by my opinion because my opinion did not come from reading that study. my opinion that because of manners, values, modesty, shame, etc., most people do put on a different persona in front of others. I have found that, at least for myself, to be happy and proud of myself I have to be the person inside that I want people to see on the outside. For example, when I catch myself being hateful or bitter towards anyone for no reasonable explanation, I question myself on the roots of those feelings, or think about what it would be like to walk in that person’s shoes. I do truly believe the world would be a much better place if we were all that person on the inside that we pretend to be on the outside. I don’t think it’s the obviously horrible and evil people that make this world bad, because those aren’t the ones whose examples are being followed. it’s the ones that think they’re good people, that probably are decent people, but don’t really care about much that doesn’t affect or relate to them, and don’t think it really matters to be better because “that’s just how it is”. because imo, and I judge myself this way, in order to be an exceptional person you have to care about others, ALL others. it amazes me how much f ked up stuff is going on in this world that really nobody cares about, yeah a human interest story every now and then may garner a little bit of support, but that covers about .0001 percent of society. I feel very deeply about this, that people need to be kind to others, and I think a lot more people would be if they realized how great an effect just one act of kindness can have on this world. Or what effect putting someone else down or any other type of negative behavior can have on themselves and others.

      • OGmutha says:

@Kcaia 100% agree with you. The problem is, you’re making sense in a room full of cretins. I’ma just gonna say it, the man *is* a genius. Take it or leave it. Or go start some whiny intergalactic gossip colony (oops, I guess that already exists), google “productive member of society,” just go DO something, you boring sad sacks; Kanye sure is.

      • Steph says:

Haha, Kiddo, that made me think of my dad. He is a genius technically, and he is fond of saying, “I’m a f’ing genius!” when he solves a problem, pontificates on politics, etc.

      • Kiddo says:

Steph, Maybe your dad is entitled to throw that word around. It sounds like he has a sense of humor about it, as opposed to a constant proclamation in order to convince other people of it. I don’t know if Kanye is a genius, maybe he is. But he bitches and moans more than anyone I know, and he has it a lot better than most people. I think he took a page out of the Kardashian handbook on how to stay in the news, and it’s apparently working.

    • sam sam says:

Narcissistic? Sure. I would argue that speaking your mind does not make you mentally ill, it might however make you an a**hole.

I genuinely feel that Kanye is a creative guy who is extremely frustrated by aspects of his industry, and things that he perceives in the world around him. The way he expresses himself is not always articulate, likeable or relateable and it may be attention seeking but that doesn’t make him mentally ill.

      • Kcaia says:

I agree, Sam Sam. I think Kanye may actually care more than your average person, about the unfairness of the world and his industry. oh and here’s that link http://www.theonion.com/articles/study-average-person-becomes-unhinged-psychotic-wh,33762/?ref=auto

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

We’ll, I’m certainly not a doctor, and of course I could be wrong, but I think he has several symptoms of mental illness – the grandiose vision of himself as more intelligent, creative and understanding of the universe than other people, the irrational way he reacts when other people don’t see him the way he sees himself, the inarticulate rants in inappropriate forums, the way he tries to control Kim and what she wears and how people perceive her because he sees her as nothing more than an extension of himself, comparing himself to Jesus, believing people are persecuting him because he’s such a genius… I don’t know, maybe it’s all an act, but he has me convinced, anyway.

      • Kiddo says:

@Kcaia, The Onion is a satirical website. You may not want to use it as a source.

      • Kcaia says:

I know, kiddo. I knew somebody would say that, but the study is real.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Kcaia, that link is obviously a joke. The Onion also claims that the 90% of people who commit suicide do so after trying to make up a bed with fitted sheets.

      • Josephine says:

He has a complete and utter inability to see things from another person’s perspective. That may not be a mental illness, but it is a disturbing deficit. And lots of folks are creative; many people are wildly more creative and innovative than he is, and you don’t see hatred spewing from their mouths because they’re “frustrated.” I’m sick of people excusing him because he is creative or talented. He is a self-absorbed, incredibly immature man-child. He has every opportunity available to him, but he can only complain. He may not be mentally ill, but he’s deeply sick to act in such a way when there are people with real problems in this world.

      • Kiddo says:

Kcaia, there is no study that corresponds. It’s a goof entirely constructed by the Onion.

      • Kcaia says:

I think you guys are right the article is fake. I didn’t know they could actually name a university on a fake story, I thought they were just making a joke on a real study. oh well, I’m not the first idiot that’s been fooled by the onion, but I agree that it’s probably fake because I can’t find a real link to Cornell having that study,

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Kcaia, you are not an idiot. The Onion goes to great lengths to make their stories seem real. That’s why they’re so funny. My husband has sent me a couple of articles that I read without looking at the source, and I was all outraged until I realized it was a joke.

      • Kcaia says:

you know I usually consider myself to have a lot of common sense, but I was ignoring it myself when I saw that the article said that they studied millions of Americans, because I actually wondered how they could get millions of Americans involved in that study, but damn it I’ve been telling everybody about that damn study, it actually made me feel normal because the only thing I do out of that is the dancing thing and the phone thing! I could have sworn I read it on the Huffington Post originally, I should be linking to one of those studies on faulty memories

      • Janet says:

Josephine: “He has a complete and utter inability to see things from another person’s perspective. That may not be a mental illness, but it is a disturbing deficit.”

Sounds like a classic symptom of narcissistic personality disorder.

      • jwoolman says:

Kcaia – the reason you were “fooled” by the Onion article is that I think they’re actually right… Many people do such things and only get labeled as crazy when other less imaginative people are around. Crazy is a very relative term in any society. The Onion just made up a study to match the reality.

Excuse me while I go finish a conversation with the cat. Speaking of cats- they have no trouble with such behaviors themselves. Look up “seeing Martians” plus cats!

      • sam sam says:

So I listened to this whole interview and you can see that he is actually more self aware then most people think he is. http://pigeonsandplanes.com/2013/11/kanye-west-reacts-told-yeezus-wack-explains-bound-2-video-power-105/ He acknowledges that he is flawed and actually faces up to some hard questions and criticism, and yep he says a lot of stuff that people will be offended by and will view as a rant. I have to admit I respect his passion and his honesty even if I don’t always respect the message.

      • eliza says:

How has the industry been unfair to him exactly?

      • Kiddo says:

@sam sam “You ain’t got the answers” should be part of a new song. It works really well as a riff. And it’s more passionately spoken and genuine than the rap lyrics in Bound 2. I’m glad that he explained that Bound 2 was intended to be total cheese; my words, not his. I suspected that it had to be intentionally bad. I’m not sure if he’d agree on the bad part, like an awful Mystery Science Theater terrible cult classic which is my take, but at least he steers the intent away from saccharine sentimentality. He mentions that it’s not real. I wonder how deep one could interpret that outside of the video.

    • Sonya says:

      THIS!
All I can think is that this is some seriously pink wig stuff going down. How is KimK going to handle it when this dude finally gets 5150ed and starts getting better and she realizes that making her the queen of the world was just a sad part of his breakdown… Yikes!

      • Amanduh says:

Kim and “Lucifer’s homegirl” will probably televise said 5150 and the falling out. Big rating$!!

      • Steph says:

I would actually feel bad for Kim if that happened…a little. It’s happened to me, I married a narcissist. It is a classic symptom to put people on pedestal, I was viewed as a princess. Then when you inevitably fail to meet those standards it’s a fall from grace, like you tricked them and now they see your true colors. It sucks.

      • Moi says:

I see both sides. To me, that is a realistic sanity/insanity.

    • Han says:

@LAK He is a talented musician, his mother was an english professor yes, but i think people put much value on that as if that makes him better or more educated. But the fact is he dropped out of college so he himself is not an educated man. On an intellectual level the references you talk about aren’t that impressive. There are far more intelligent and literary rappers out there. Kanye really isn’t that good a rapper, if you know rap he is mediocre at best. He is just a very good producer. And finally if he was that bright he wouldn’t be marrying someone as dim as Kim Kardashian.

      • Hibitta says:

        Hear hear!

      • sauvage says:

For someone whose mother was an English professor his use of the English language is amazingly flawed. You’d expect him to use it correctly because you’d expect him to KNOW BETTER. I don’t get how language butchering has become cool. I’m not exactly old and I vividly remember times when it counted for something to be able to speak your mother tongue correctly. Kanye West would have the perfect chance to turn that disturbing trend around, he could be the cool rapper guy who actually knows his grammar. That would be a nice way to fight ignorance. But then, he’s dating a Kardashian, so it’s not like he’s all about education and knowledge and intelligence and stuff, ya know.

(Oh, and just for the record, I am not a native English speaker.)

    • Belle Epoch says:

WHY DO WE LISTEN TO HIM ANY MORE?? We now know he was going off the rails back when he “interrupted” Taylor Swift. It has been downhill ever since. He is surrounded by sycophants who tell him it’s OK to lie on your back on stage with a bag over your head yelling about being Jesus. Kinda surprised the Christians aren’t more upset.

    • VC Blackwell says:

Hi Dorothy. I don’t think Kanye is insane at all. In fact, I think his rants and other actions are carefully calculated and planned to create controversy; ergo publicity. Some of his sh it even promotes more misguided fan loyalty. These jerks are laughing at us and creating more wealth in the process! : (
As far as Kim goes, happy or unhappy, she’s apparently willing to pay the price. Tsk Tsk. It must be worth it but I couldn’t stand the thoughts of kissing him let alone the rest that goes with it. It has zero to do with race. He just looks nasty/uncouth but considering what she’s mouthed and soaked herself in, I can see where it’s not a problem for her.

  2. Dani2 says:

The Kardashians prep America for interacial relationships? C’mon Kanye, you cannot be that delusional/in love! God, he is like insufferable to the max these days.

    • Louise says:

      These days?

      • Dani2 says:

@Louise Yeah, up until recently, I was able to enjoy his music without thinking, “the person responsible for this music is completely insufferable”. I can listen to a few of Miley’ms songs and Katy’s (both of whom I really dont like) and enjoy them but with him, his personality is completely ruining his music for me.

@wheezy Honey, did you really throw up? 🙁 I’m so sorry. And I hear you, my dad is black and my mum is white, the amount of hatred they got when they got together in the 70s was so intense. I just hate people like this making it all about them, the world is bigger than you and your fiancé! He’s one of the most insensitive public figures in the music industry and I used to find his antics funny but it’s really not anymore.

    • JenD says:

As delusional as thinking he’s a fashion icon wearing a tshirt, ripped jeans, and tennis shoes. Those are the same clothes I wear to work in my garden. Minus his fur coat.

    • wheezy says:

OMG I threw up when I read the interracial dating comment…I’ll spare you from my long analytical comments about the females in that fam. BUT my husband and I are an interracial couple, we’ve been together 9 years and married 4- I CRINGE to think some people look at us and think I’m “on- trend” with Katface Karplastican!!!! Real love isn’t for show, and it doesn’t exist to prove anything to anybody. What’s even worse, I’m a brunette and um shapley like her, and believe me I know ppl comment. Kanye is so gross. He has only legitimized the need for mental health service in our community.

    • Nina W says:

As Obama was born in 1961, to name but one famous example, I would say inter-racial relationships pre-date Kimye, et al. And what white women are giving their white girlfriends grief over dating a black man? I would never and neither would any of the women I know. He is full of crap and a douche.

  3. Hannah says:

My budget has been boycotting Louis Vuitton for years. Take that, Yves!

    • Miffy says:

      +1+lol!

    • V4Real says:

      Awesome! LOL

    • Dubois says:

      Lol!!!

    • hadleyb says:

I despise the ceo or cfo ( not sure ) of LVMH but Sephora is part of their group a long with so many others .. it’s VERY hard to boycott LVMH… they own just about everything.

So he must be unaware that LVMH owns so much or he’s just referring to people who buy LV monogram to show they bought LV monogram. I am guessing. He’s an idiot. I am sure the Kardashians buy from LVMH all the time and wil not be stopping anytime soon.

      • kaligula says:

Just curious, why do you dislike that CEO/CFO? I don’t know anything about that company’s leadership….

      • ennie says:

Err… SAlma Hayek’s husband? probably , or surely, he is not the one who actually talked to kanymememe.

    • jm says:

Please, this makes me proud to own a LV bag. What does LV need to waste their time with some celebrity who thinks he is a “genius”…or is it “geunuis”?

  4. Nev says:

    hahahahahahaha love it.

  5. Lucy says:

    Gosh, poor Lenny.

    • V4Real says:

I’m willing to bet Kanye knew Lenny was in the audience. I wish Lenny had jumped on staged and hijacked his mic as he said. “Kanye I’m sure it’s people like my mother and father and all the interracial relationships and interracial kids that came before the Kartrashians that preped America for interracial relationships.
But Lenny has too much class for that.

      • ennie says:

those who suffered persecutions, those who actually suffered, those were the trailblazers. And he is not the only celebrity in decades who is in an interracial relationship.
These deluded people are smart and talented in how to make money, good for them, but he thinks too much about himself, I have not read a note in all his coverage where he or his new family are actually doing anything else but shamelessly self promoting. and his video was so bad it was hilarious.
        it’s tiring.

    • Liv says:

Why was Lenny even there? Why are Beyonce and jay Z friends with him? I think Beyonce lost track a while ago too, but she’s far from the craziness Kanye shows. How is it even possible to be that ignorant and stupid??!!

    • lavinia says:

He’s probably so jealous of Lenny that he can’t stand it. Lenny is sexy, stylish, and has a cool laidback personality. He doesn’t have to beat his chest and scream “I’m a god! I’m a genius! You peons should bow to my glory!!! And you have to bow down to my bad bitch Kim too!!!”

      • Petee says:

Well said.Lenny is doesn’t and never been a screaming narcissist like Kanye.I do think he has a personality disorder. Also He might rant and rave if he is doing coke or speed because that is how you get on that stuff.

    • kellyinseattle says:

I just had to click on the thread because I saw the name Lenny Kravitz.

  6. kbomb000 says:

My boyfriend is black and, yes, even though we live in the 4th largest city in North America, we get stared at frequently – and not in a nice way. Now that I’ve read this article I will be certain to go up the offending racists and let them know that they have nothing to judge now that Kanye and Kim are doing it. I’m sure that’ll change everything.

    • Dani2 says:

Gosh, right? Typical narcissists, making everything (even social issues that affect real people in real ways) all about them.

    • LadyMTL says:

Heh, yeah, I’m sure saying “you know, you can’t be racist anymore because Kanye West has a white girlfriend” will put all the racist losers in their place. :p

    • B4TheStorm says:

I live in Houston too, and anytime I’ve dated a black man, we get the stink eye also. Not from everybody of course, but from more than a few. It’s a shame, because Houston is such a multi-cultural city, and one of the reasons I love it. Nobody is going to change the way some people look at interracial relationships, least of all Kangaye or the Kartrashians.

      • V4Real says:

It’s ashame those kind of looks you are referring to still exist. A friend of mine moved back to Houston and that’s where she now lives with her Black boyfriend and their child and yes she is White.

But it’s everywhere, even in the great melting pot that I live in (NY). But I think most people in NY are afraid to look at you period. You glance at people the wrong way in NY and they are like what the F _ ck are you looking at.

      • NYC_girl says:

@V4Real – that is an unfair generalization. I was raised here. Unfortunately there are people who are easily provoked and want to start trouble. Most people know you can’t stare at others anyway. The only time I am aware of my death glare is when people stand in the subway doorway and block me from getting on and off. I am also friendly to tourists. Unless they are walking 4-across in front of me during rush hour, then they might get the death glare again.

    • GiGi says:

That’s really interesting. I live in a smallish city but there is a lot of interracial dating and interracial families of all varieties. (My city has 4 universities so maybe that helps?) Like every other family you see in the grocery store is interracial. My husband is White, I’m Native American, my step FIL is Japanese and one of our children is Black and it’s like this through our extended family – one giant melting pot. It’s very normal in our area. That being said, there are definitely times when you get “the look”. But it’s rare enough that you really notice it when it happens.

That being said… I don’t think Kimye is leading the charge here. Maybe for the younger generation? But everyone my age or older in interracial relationships could GAF.

      • Jayna says:

The only thing the Kartrashians are doing is leading the charge on how to snag an uber-wealthy pro athlete and/or a wealthy, superstar, crazy rapper.

      • Naye in VA says:

Please don’t think that you missed something with what Kanye said. Interracial relationships are only a revelation to people that have a problem with them. There are so many much more likable people than Kimye that are in interracial relationships; Robert DeNiro, RIP Roger Ebert, Maya Rudolph, Fassbender, Ron Perlman, Zoe Saldana, Lil Wayne, and countless more. Kanye is just the only person who wants credit for it.

    • kbomb000 says:

Just to clarify – I live in Toronto (which I didn’t even realize was the 4th largest city in North America until all the Rob Ford nonsense). Like Houston and New York, it is also a melting pot. It also likes to consider itself a compassionate, Liberal and open-minded city full of people who apologize for everything. But unfortunately I see almost daily how far from the truth this still is. I asked my boyfriend why it doesn’t seem to bother him. He said it’s because he’s spent his whole life being “looked at” and he just doesn’t even notice the looks anymore. The fact that he has had to become used being discriminated against is the saddest thing of all.

    • Kcaia says:

I’ve always had a lot of black friends, and a couple black boyfriends, and I’m from a nice middle class neighborhood in the suburbs of Washington DC where most people would tell you they have no problem with black people, what so ever. but I also can’t count on both hands how many times the police have been called because one of my black friends was in my neighborhood and a neighbor got “scared”. one time my neighbor actually came out and aggressively questioned one of my friends because the other neighbor called him terrified, and these are just normal teenage black boys I’m talking about.

      • Naye in VA says:

Girl try being Black in NOVA. I live in an area that has exploded with money and a higher tax bracket in the past couple of years, and I have had encounters with with the police just sitting on a friends driveway, and many more. And I have lived here my whole life, my parents built their house in our affluent neighborhood, but am treated as though I’m some sort of unwelcome visitor.

      • kbomb000 says:

@Naye – interesting you say that (and how f*&^ing terrible). When my boyfriend and I are walking through downtown, a mall, or we’re taking public transit (a mixture of all tax brackets), no one seems to notice us. But when we are in upper middle class midtown, or a particularly fancy restaurant (amongst old established money) that’s where we get the looks. Of course this isn’t always the case nor is it the case among many when it does occur – but there are definitely times we experience more….shall we say, curiosity?

      • Kcaia says:

Mo county over here, girl. so I know all about Northern Virginia because we got money pouring out the ying hole too. and of course,my neighbors would tell you they have no problem with black people [as long as they stay in the ghetto where they belong]… it’s a sad world we live in.

      • AnnE says:

I am sorry that you have that had that experience in Toronto. I am from Montreal but have lived in Toronto for the past 31 years, 30 of those in an interracial/interfaith marriage with bi racial kids and not once have we ever experienced any kind of look or racism, and we live in an affluent area.

      • Alexis says:

I’m from New York, have lived in Boston, currently live in DC. I’ve been in the same “interracial” relationship the whole time, and have never had any of these dirty looks or comments come my way. A couple of awkward, harmless comments from black men (I’m black and a chick), but I can count those incidents on one hand. I wonder how widespread anti-interracial couple prejudice is, and how it varies based on class, gender, “races” involved, etc.

When I think of how I would describe the conduct and nature of Kimye’s relationship, though, “interracial” probably wouldn’t even make my top ten. *side-eye*

      • Megan says:

The longest boyfriend I ever had (3 years) was black. I am Mexican but lightly tanned and am often confused as being white. We met in college and he was a great guy and my family loved him. I was super close to his sister and 3 of his cousins. Everyone else in his family hated me and would blatantly ask him what was wrong that he couldn’t find a black girl to date. IN FRONT OF ME. They said it like it was a totally normal question and I had no right to be offended. I asked them if they could come up with one reason not to like ME, besides the fact that I wasn’t black. All I would get was silence and/or eyerolls, like I’m the idiot.

Eventually it got to be too much and ended our relationship. We are still friends, but I can never forget the frustration of that situation. It’s the first and only time I’ve had that problem, and knowing what it’s like firsthand and seeing my two best friends in the world (one is black and one is Korean) go through the same thing fairly often and much ore than I could understand. Interracial dating is not something I would call uncommon anymore, but it is far from accepted. All races are guilty of having people causing a fuss over it, some more than others obviously.

  7. idk says:

Oh I guess Kim and Kanye are the first interracial couple ever in the history of the world.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

Seriously. I say this as someone who has been in several interracial relationships:
Not that I ever really GAF about what society thought about who I chose to date, I can say for certain that Kimye was not the couple that I looked to for guidance.

    • Kiddo says:

No, but they are the only important ones, according to Kanye.

    • Carolyn says:

Kanye will be referring to the two of them as Adam & Eve soon. The delusion is in proportion to their egos 🙁

      Dear Kanye & Kim

Shut up and go away. Quickly.

      Signed, Everyone.

  8. Megan says:

He needs to shut up! That vile piece of trash family have done nothing to make anything more socially acceptable.

Seriously I use to like Kanye’s music but I now find him so offensive and just honestly a joke. I want him to just go AWAY!!

  9. Michelle says:

Boycott Kanye. Doesn’t he realize what a joke he has become?

  10. atrain says:

This seems like one drawn-out temper tantrum he’s having by not being accepted by the fashion industry. We get it, Kanye, you’re pretty bitter about the whole thing.

  11. JME says:

First, he talks about my husband Bruno and NOW he’s messing with my boyfriend Lenny!? And when he was at his concert to……ugh.

  12. Joy says:

I know a lot of people somehow think he’s a genius, but I work in mental health and every time he does a rant I think of my clients and sigh. Literally most of my clients make more sense than him and they’re in a lockdown building with no freedom. Scary.

    • RN says:

I love that you wrote this and I agree completely. I too have had patients who sound more sane than this man.

  13. Kiddo says:

He’s the second coming of MLK, (clears throat). You know, if MLK was worried about sneaker deals and being patted on the back by the fashion industry more than he cared about other people. But you know, basically, same difference.

  14. Dawn says:

Puke, puke, puke. This is getting old and why this guy has even 1 true fan is beyond me. Really, he throws shit out there and then waits for someone else to explain it all and then jumps on the one that makes him sound like he KNEW it all along when he so clearly does not. He is so not a genius, nor a god or even a nice guy. He is a puke.

  15. Soccer mom says:

Do the people that go to his concerts even care about the fashion world and know what he is talking about? Maybe if he is such a genius then he can cure cancer or do something for someone else. Her duck lips bother me so much….it’s all I see when I look at her. I have biracial teen daughters and I will let them know that Kanye and Kim are there for them!! Give me a break.

  16. Sandy says:

Another day, another boring outfit on Kim. Jeans, heels, coat. O.K., we get it. But the best part of this is the Louis Vuitton rant. O.K., so Kim and Kanye has closets full of L.V., but his “followers” shouldn’t buy any because an LV business person wouldn’t have a meeting with a the craziness that is Kanye. If you ran a business, you wouldn’t have time for his rantings either. And L.V. is getting the best pre-Holiday publicity they could ever dream of!

    • idk says:

So why isn’t he telling us to boycott Vogue magazine since they didn’t put the most deserving, talented, perfect woman on the cover yet *cough* *cough*.

Kanye really thinks he has THAT much power ? People will purchase whatever they want, regardless of what he says.

      • Faye says:

Because he may take on the head of LVMH, but Ye knows better than to mess with Anna Wintour :).

Also, I believe that somewhere in his heart of hearts he hasn’t given up on the dream of a Vogue spread yet.

      • Didi says:

Kim is just not good looking now that she looks like a tragic victim of plastic surgery gone wrong. Maybe 5 years ago a Vogue cover would have been more appropriate since she was indeed at her best. I’ve always thought Vogue is about class and classy is not Kim and the rest of her family.

      • Hakura says:

@idk – Re: Does he really think he has THAT much power: He’s GOD. I’m surprised he didn’t preface his command with ‘Thou Shalt NOT…‘.

@Faye – Re: He hasn’t given up on the Vogue spread: I thought I read somewhere recently that he already has the entire shoot planned out, or was still working on it. It will *never* happen. Anna *knows* putting KIM in her magazine would cause everyone to automatically lose all respect for her. Kanye may be ‘God’, but she’s Anna Wintour. xD

  17. palermo says:

The ignorance of the both of them is just utterly appalling. They have no idea how dumb they are.

  18. Huh? says:

He wishes he was as classy and tasteful as Lenny Kravitz. Kanye is a joke.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

..you forgot to add “as hot” as Lenny.

      • TheOneandOnlyOnly says:

You could also add play a guitar pretty damn good, without autotune: when Zeppelin was being honored last December Lenny played a great version of Whole Lotta Love; Kanye is too full of himself for such a tribute.

      • lavinia says:

Original Kitten…+ what you said a thousand times.

      • gg says:

Comparing these two is like comparing a fat puppy with a palomino. Kanye does not know any Zep. Lol

  19. Naye in VA says:

The people that have a problem with interracial relationships are likely to not be fans of either Kim or Kanye, separately or together. So much for changing the world.

  20. Maureen says:

Kim is a women whose entire sense of self rests upon acceptance by a man. So as long as Kanye accepts her she will do whatever she has to do (happily) to ensure he remains pleased with her.

    • idk says:

…and as long as he stays rich.

    • Hakura says:

I agree.. I’ve mentioned this before in other stories, but PMK did a bang-up job with her ‘favorite’ child… Raising her to be completely codependant on someone else, with a meek personality, & no self confidence without approval. It made her the perfect puppet for PMK, getting less resistance from Kim than she would from any normal/healthy teen/young woman… & Kim couldn’t stay single. She bounced from relationship to relationship with no downtime at all… because she can’t be alone. She feels like she can’t make her own decisions.

Someone has to be there to tell her what to do, or ‘take care’ of her, give approval, because she doesn’t have the basic sense of self to function with ANY independance. PMK created an unfortunate, sad monster (who’s now a *mother*). Such a mess. She makes me so sad. 🙁

  21. Sam says:

And somehow, Lenny Kravitz was able to do everything he has and still has a reputatation as a very nice guy who has a lot of goodwill in the industry. Kanye’s problem isn’t that he lacks talent or ability. His reputation proceeds him and people don’t want to work with an entitled, delusional narcissist, no matter how talented he might be. Talent only goes so far.

    • T.C. says:

      +1000
Lenny Kravitz is likeable because he works hard, is nice to people and doesn’t go off on crazy rants about other artists.

“Have you heard anyone talk [bleep] about Lenny Kravitz? He’s a nice guy, he’s so well mannered. I envy people who are extremely likeable, I’m like, ‘Damn, I wish I could be likable like that.’ ”

    • RN says:

Hmm… I respectfully disagree about Kanye having talent. I heard one of his songs for the first time (the video posted here) and I was shocked by how awful it was. I could not make it through to the end. He sounds like a 4 year old, stringing random words together. It in no way resembled what I would categorize as music.

      • EscapedConvent says:

I agree. When someone’s idea of “lyrics” are:

“I wanna f*** you hard in the sink
& then I wanna get you something to drink…..”

Yeah, it’s over. It says a lot that everyone who has seen Bound2 has said “Is this a joke? Is this on purpose? It has to be a parody. Did SNL do this as a spoof?”

That says everything for me. & then, the icing on the crazy cake, this wonderful spoof video by Franco & Rogan. Wonder if Yeezus has seen that yet.

      • Didi says:

He is an awful rapper. All he did was to take cuts of other people’s work like Daft Punk. The first time I saw Bound 2 mv, I thought it was a Malboro ad!

  22. Lisa says:

I wish I could have heard John McEnroe’s commentary on this whole situation as it was happening.

  23. truthful says:

As long as he lives, he will NEVER have the style and Rock Star likeability that Mr. Kravitz has, NEVER.

He does not know how to be a gentleman, he’s off putting and overbearing and self entitled.

keep making spoofy vids for comedy please.

  24. Mauibound says:

Lenny has soooo much more talent and creativity than Kanye. Kanyr bores the crap outta me. Kanye needs to take that ego down a notch or two

  25. Melissa says:

Kanye West is dating someone who is everything he claims to hate: Corporate America, Louis Vuitton, excess, commercialization, ect. Lenny Kravitz has succeeded and gained deserving respect without being a narcissistic jerk, most of us can learn a thing from him. I believe Kanye feels if he doesn’t try to rant as often as possible, he won’t get enough “respect” and “power”.

Here are a few people who did great things for interracial relationships, Kanye, please try to educate yourself.

Frederick Douglass and Helen Pitts (Married in 1844)
Mildred and Richard Loving (1960s, sentenced to a year in prison for marrying each other)

    Among many others: http://listverse.com/2011/01/25/10-fascinating-interracial-marriages-in-history/

  26. twoblues says:

    Note to Kuckoo Kanye:
    Lenny Kravitz is a star.
    You are not.
Can you wrap your genius mind
    around that concept?

  27. Green Eggs and Ham says:

    WOW

  28. Leila In Wunderland says:

Even though his comment about interracial dating was a bit narcissistic, I’m glad he brought it up. Even in 2013, there are still many people who have a bad attitude about black men and white women dating. The woman will get called all kinds of horrible names that I won’t mention, and the man will be dehumanized. The Kardashians, Kendra Wilkinson, and Heidi Klum and her family, are some examples of famous people who I’ve seen racist comments about on the internet. And all I’m gonna say is that most of the comments are usually from a certain group of people.

    • Josephine says:

I agree — way too many racist comments about anyone of color, not just these people.

But do you really think that these two inspire people to think positively about interracial relationships? They are so absurd, and so horrible, that I can’t imagine that they inspire anything other than hate.

    • Faye says:

It’s because racism is such a serious issue that I don’t want Kanye bringing it up. He turns everything into such a joke that I feel people are less likely to pay attention to an issue when he raises it.

      • EscapedConvent says:

Very good point. He makes every topic about him in two sentences flat. I’m still reeling from his beyond-ignorant & offensive whining about how he’s like the “guy in 12 Years a Slave” because fashion houses weren’t interested in his creative genius. Waaah…….Waaaaaa…..

Disgraceful. If only someone would put tape over his mouth.

      • Hakura says:

@EscapedConvent – “If only someone would put tape over his mouth.”

We could go for the whole dramatic ‘man in the iron mask’ thing (then we wouldn’t have to look at his pissy expression or puffed out chipmunk cheeks)… He seems so fond of going around with his whole head covered…(but we could throw in some industrial duct-tape, of course. ^-^) Maybe if we convinced him it was the ‘chic’ new thing on the runways…

    • Payton says:

“And all I’m gonna say is that most of the comments are usually from a certain group of people.”

      Black women?

  29. Jayna says:

I just love me some Lenny. So good looking and sexy and beyond talented. And the man just oozes sex appeal from his pores. Kanye just oozes “yuk.”. Kimmie must have to go to a happy place when they are having sex to get through it.

I just can’t with Kanye anymore. He is off his rocker these days.

    • Josephine says:

Yup. Lenny is smoking hot without doing a thing, just being his fine self! If we wants to be liked, Kayne should learn to leave a little mystery to his persona. No one, not one single person wants to hear an unending stream of consciousness from another person. He just does not understand that he is one person, with one opinion, and he is no better than the next person, and simply not that important.

  30. TheOneandOnlyOnly says:

Kanye is NOT a rock star; true rock stars – Jimmy Page and Freddie Mercury – are laid back, cool and talented; Drake and J Z are not poets – Auden, Eliot, Yeats, Wallace Stevens are,
Palermo said it best about their ignorance.

  31. AG says:

    Wtf is he talking about.

  32. Mon says:

Yes, teach your daughter that everything has a price tag. Guess that’s his common ground with his girlfriend…

    • idk says:

Yeah exactly. I thought he was all against “commercialism”…but then he goes and ditches Nike and runs to Adidas because they are willing to pay him royalties. I thought he said “it’s never been about the money?” LOL he knows if he wants to keep Kim, he better make it ALL about the money.

  33. Jessibes says:

Doesn’t he ever get tired of himself?

    • idk says:

I’m waiting for Kanye to fall out of love with himself, break up with himself, and then write a song about how much he hates his ex Kanye West. I seriously feel sorry for the future boyfriends of North West. Could you imagine having to deal with Kanye as your girlfriend’s father?

  34. Kcaia says:

I don’t mean that most people think they’re geniuses are gods, but most people that do think highly of themselves would be too humble to say so. which isn’t a bad thing. but I don’t understand the term narcissistic when you’re speaking of somebody of such high accomplishments, how do we know they’re not just realistic? if Kanye West think he’s more creative than the average person, well, he is. He’s not some unknown middle aged man that lives in his mom’s basement, considering himself a creative genius.

    • lrm says:

yes, but just b/c he is famous does not mean he is more creative.
fame and money are now the main focus when determining creative success and innovation.
yet there are many highly creative/even genius people living in obscurity…just b/c kanye does not live in his mom’s basement does not mean he is a creative genius. luck, connections, determination, saavy-ness: He may have one or all of these qualities that led to his success. And being a creative genius is not integral to fame and success.

I still can’t get over how he acts like the fasion industry not accepting him is racist.
It’s class that is the real issue. Classism should be spoken of more often.
That said, any fashion house is entitled to choose with whom they associate. If they don’t want hip hop culture collaboration, for example, it is their business, brand and image choice. If JayZ wants to call it racist, well, he is confusing commercialism and capitalism and creativity with social justice. I realize there are nuances. But overall, a brand does not need to be PC and cater to everyone. This mindset is creating a culture of mediocrity that is stifling. Surely there must be other ways to address class and race issues, than mandating a company be ‘for everyone’ as far as who they design their products for and how they would like to market them.

Kanye I just don’t get. He peppers his talk with partial truths and societal insights…but he insinuates that somehow, just b/c someone is white, he/she could get into fashion houses. Plenty of creative artists do not get to live their dreams, act in hollywood, show at a gallery, etc etc each and every day. He is fortunate that he has a platform to share his music and creative expressions. Instead of whining that it should provide him cart blanche, he should continue creating without concern over how many people see it or how much money he makes off of it.

    • Josephine says:

He’s not saying that he is more creative than the next person. He is saying that he is better and more creative than anyone else. He is better than all fashion house personnel, despite their years of experience and their obvious talent. He is better than all other singers, ever. His baby mama is better than every other woman in the world, more influential than the first lady, etc…

He is not merely claiming to be creative (which, by the way, I still don’t see — what exactly has he done that is earth-shattering or that could change the world? His only original idea seems to be the leather jogging pants, and I think the world wasn’t waiting for that invention. He may have creative lyrics, but rhyming drink with sink isn’t so unusual). He is saying that he is THE most creative person, that he can literally save the world.

And the worst part — no one is holding him back. He has the money to make his creative efforts reality. And yet he doesn’t.

    • Nina W says:

Narcissism per Wikipedia “egotistic admiration of one’s own physical or mental attributes”. It’s fine to be creative, self -confident and aware of your own worth but when you are your biggest fan and you say it constantly, people stop liking you. On top of which he’s not really as important or relevant as he imagines he is.

  35. Skye says:

And yet he CAN look his daughter in the eye after that Bound2 video. Aiyiyiyi…

As for being one of the poets of this generation, try lazy pop-culture collage-maker. I’ve read limericks about men from Nantucket that display more verbal dexterity than “start a fight club, Brad reputation.”

I actually liked “Stronger” and “Flashing Lights” but the more “high concept” Yeezy tries to go, the more it’s obvious the emperor has no clues.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

“and yet he CAN look his daughter in the eye after that Bound2 video”

…and the following lyrics are supposedly about the mother of his child as well:

“I wanna f*ck you hard on the sink
After that, give you something to drink
Step back, can’t get spunk on the mink

So hey, maybe we can make it to Christmas
She asked me what I wished for on the wishlist
Have you ever asked your bitch for other bitches?”

I don’t believe in censorship, but let’s just say that I’m REALLY happy my dad isn’t a famous rapper. Also, I love how Kanye’s spooge is good enough for Kim to drink, but please whatever you do, don’t get it on his expensive dead animal coat!!!

      • judyjudy says:

I watched the Bound2 video on mute (sleeping baby in arms). Are those really the lyrics? That’s the love sing he wrote to the mother of his child? The words she was posing to all naked and dreamy-like in the video?

        Jesus…I mean..Yeezus.

      • Jayna says:

All I can think when I hear that song and read those lyrics, is, wow, you fall in love with someone, and they are a musician. Every woman would then dream of a stunning love song written about them by their true love, one that brings tears to your eyes, and this is what Kim gets? Unbelievable. It’s really gross when you think about it that way, this is his love song to her.

True, hip-hop love songs are different than regular songs, but if I was Kim I would have wanted Common’s love song, The Light, supposedly written about Erykah Badu. The lyrics are so beautiful when you listen to them. All Kim gets is he wants to f’k her on the sink, then have a drink and make sure to get no spunk on the sink. Pure poetry. LOL

        The Light: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_-qRcHAhzk

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

@judyjudy-yep, and those are just a couple excerpts, there’s more…full of genuine love and emotion of course..

@Jayna-ITA and I LOVE Common AND that song is one of my faves.

Speaking of geniuses, Common and Badu together were basically like a supernova of talent….I even feel a bit guilty even bringing them up in the context of Kimye.

      • Skye says:

IKR! Here’s the sad part… I find myself actually hoping that Kanye’s public self is very different from what Kim gets in private, because as much disdain as I have for the whole KUWTK freakshow, I can’t help but feel a little bit sorry for those girls. Who the hell knows what I’d be, if my mother were a greedy, shameless, parasitic, fame-whoring pimp? It would be nice to see Kim (not to mention the younger ones) kick PMK to the curve and move on to a life of her own, with her daughter.

  36. Isa says:

I didn’t even realize they were in interracial relationships.
I did realize that Kim has too much space between her nose and top lip. What the hell.

  37. Oceansoul89 says:

My parents have been married 30 years and are an interracial couple. Oh and I need to tell my fiance that we are following in Kim and Kanye footsteps too cause I’m mixed (black/white) and he’s mixed (white/native american). Bitch please. The only opposition we’ve faced is from his parents( mostly his dad but his mom goes along silently with it). But that’s a long story and we have no contact with them. I feel for my fiances younger siblings though. I’m just glad they are making plans to leave home soon.

And I believe Kim is erasing any trace of her Armenian heritage by continuing to get plastic surgery.

  38. Me says:

What a disgusting and atrocious person. The worst thing is that many boys will see him as a role model and copy his measly behaviour.

    • idk says:

It’s too late, most of this generation id full of narcissists thanks to things like instagram and taking selfies non-stop. Kanye has little to do with that. In fact, I don’t think he’s influential at all. Young men look to male celebs that women find appealing…Kanye isn’t the most likeable guy. I don’t know too many women swooning over him…mostly because of his personality.

  39. Pistolina says:

If only Kanye would have made GQ’s list of least sexy and least influential….that would have been the gift that keeps on giving

  40. gg says:

Lenny Kravitz is cool because he keeps his mouth shut. Everything else is gravy on that.

  41. madchen says:

I hate when he compares himself to Tupac. I don’t think he would have been able to survive the music industry let alone the rap scene in the 90s.

  42. EscapedConvent says:

I think Kanye is well on his way to a 5150, but not for awhile. He’ll keep saying bizarre, inappropriate things, have Jesus come out onstage to bless him personally, & wear full crystal head-masks like he’s a Mayan god or some nonsense.

It’s okay if he’s the only person on earth who recognizes his creative genius! (Can’t tell about Kim–she struggles with the concept of “having an opinion”—she’d have to call her Mom)

His grandiosity, delusions, lack of impulse control, & overall hostility & aggressiveness should be a concern to anyone close to him. I don’t think he’s trolling or playing with the media; I think there’s something deeply wrong with him. & because his delusions are so strong, & his perception of reality so distorted, I rather doubt that he can be helped. I think he’s going to go through his life just like this.

  43. CaliforniaDreams says:

Her expressions in these photos are borderline creepy. Especially the third one, it gave me a weird feeling. She just looks so out of it.

    • madchen says:

I hate to defend him but I always have an issue with the crazy eyes photos no matter who’s in the picture. Celebs learn to widen their eyes when flashes go off because normally you blink in the glare and if you do, all the photos will show a person with their eyes shut. I always give a lot of leeway to the “crazy” look because I’ve experienced pap lines (was working events). I’ve got no idea how even the most famous people deal with all that light coming at them at once. It’s disconcerting and disorienting.

  44. Hank II says:

Yes, Kanye because most heterosexual men I know really worry about design houses and couture fashion… But there’s always an exception, so kudos to him

  45. LadyFauxReal says:

Kanye has always been painfully insecure. He used to rap about it in his first albums back when he was honest and self aware. He wrote a rap about Jay-Z that said it all. He talked about looking up to him and Jay Z not wanting to bring him into the fold. Calling Kanye a nerdy f-word. He ached for Jay’s acceptance and only got it when he became financially successful on his own, not just as a producer. He wanted Kim for a long time too, but she wouldn’t give him a serious look and still found him physically not her type. His mom supposedly disapproved of his crush. Kanye has no real family so when his mother died, he began to spiral downward. Once the money goes, all of these people will ignore him like they used to and poor Kanye will only have crusty old furs to keep him company. His sanity will be long gone as will the daughter he had because she will be owned by PMK.

    • Jayna says:

Great post. I really do see as he ages his hold on sanity getting more and more tenuous. He’s fine now and functions and is lucid, just lots of delusions of grandeur and narcissism. He seems manic right now and everything is escalating. I do think as he gets older Kanye will get worse.

I think Kim, when she leaves him, could send him over the edge unless he has someone new standing in the wings to be there for him.

    • TG says:

Interesting post and insight into this interracial dater’s early life. I just realized that PMK is the real genius here. When Kim makes her “escape” from Kanye and “source” AKA PMK leak to TMZ how controlling, manipulative, abusive, etc. Kanye is we will all believe it and Kanye will have dug his own grave. Notice Kim looks miserable the same way Katie Holmes looked. I don’t believe Kanye cares about anyone that isn’t Kanye. He abandoned his girlfriend while she was pregnant so he could run around Paris with his boyfriend and when Kim tracked him down in Paris he couldn’t even be bothered to open the a door to a store for his heavily pregnant girlfriend. That video shows it all about him.

      • Nina W says:

When this goes down in flames it won’t magically transform Kim into a saint no matter how PMK spins it. Everyone on the planet is over the endless lies spun by the K klan.

    • Dommy Dearest says:

I always wonder if the song ‘Heartless’ is about Kim.
‘Heartless’ and ‘See You In My Nightmares’ were the only two awesome songs from one of his recent albums.

@TG: I had the same thoughts from the time she was pregnant to now with her constant gloomy expression. Kanye doesn’t even know that she’s setting it all up so that when they go for custody she’ll have photographic ‘evidence’ of how miserable she was and thus try to argue it’ll be the same for the kid.

  46. Snappyfish says:

The quintessential legend in his own mind.

  47. Jayna says:

The gift that keeps on giving. Some quotes from this morning’s radio interview.

“Yeezy’s world doesn’t exactly seem like the happiest place on Earth, but in his latest angry rant, Kanye West insisted that he’s the second coming of famed innovator Walt Disney. “I’m just a creative,” he told Chicago’s Power 105.1 this morning. “I’m more like, a Walt Disney or something.”

“Like, rap is just a chamber of my thoughts,” he continued. “It’s something that I really wanted to express as a modern-day poet, because you know, if I had lived in a past lifetime, maybe I would have been a playwright or something. But in this lifetime, to be the most heard and the most relevant, the most relevant is to be a rap rock star. You can express at the highest level there.”

But Disney isn’t his only influence. West also claimed in the bizarre interview, “I’m like Howard Hughes! I’m like [NBA commissioner] David Stern! I’m like Steve Jobs!” “If anything,” he insisted, “that’s a compliment to them! I’m like Michelangelo. Because I’m the new version of that.”

And his baby mama Kim Kardashian is also the new version of an old world icon, he claims. Referencing the recent 100th anniversary cover of Vanity Fair, which featured Kate Upton as Marilyn Monroe, West yelled, “Kate Upton ain’t Marilyn Monroe! Kim Marilyn Monroe! She was controversial. She controversial .”

“This is a reality,” he said. “I’m living inside of a dream world.”

  48. judyjudy says:

Wait a minute….is he wearing lifts???? Those white tennies have a legit heel.

Hee hee hee! Tiny Kanye wears lifts!

  49. dorothy says:

I really wonder what Kris, Kim and the other Kardashian’s think about this nut’s constant ramblings of superiority. In all honesty it has to be embarrassing, even for them.

  50. Blackbetty says:

People still stare/make comments when they see an inter racial couple? Wow how old fashioned. You wouldn’t want to do that where I live, you’d get your head kicked in.

  51. jwoolman says:

People sometimes wonder about the K girl’s preference for black men. But I think the operative word for their preference is “rich” and the attribute “black” is accidental. Since the Kardashians are mostly poorly educated and have narrow interests- that generally means “new rich” rather than “old rich” since families with wealth going back generations are more likely to push their kids into getting an education and discourage dating Kardashian types (including the young Jenner girls). The K Klan just wouldn’t fit into “old rich” circles – what could they even talk about? That leaves new-rich athletes and rappers as a better fit, and not as put off by the lack of education etc. in their female companions, and in the US a large percentage of those are black for cultural reasons. This doesn’t mean that the men aren’t intelligent, just that they don’t need intelligent or educated wives in the same way as men in other professions might. So the Kardashians’ limitations are not such a handicap. Khloe seems to have a brain but doesn’t use it much. I’m more and more convinced that Kim really is low intelligence. She might be finding Kanye quite puzzling. She is not going to age well.

  52. Dommy Dearest says:

Yeah, okay Yezus Pieces. Your handbag and her family completely prepped me for my interracial relationship that went on from 2004-2008. Completely and totally. Next he’s going to say that they carved the way for breathing while walking and introducing the world to smart phones.

Someone stuff an apple in this pigs mouth.

  53. Str8Shooter says:

Where is a PLUNGER when you need one, to clog up the crazy-ass sh** that comes out of this moron’s mouth?

‘We are the modern day poets. Obviously.’

No. Your’e an idiot ranting about cars and bitches and hos…poets create…POETRY.

  54. Nina W says:

Let’s be clear, Kim made being peed on a viable career path to celebrity. She’s a pioneer in pee.

    • Thiajoka says:

Now THAT is how you cut through the bullshit. Kudos to you.

(This was supposed to be a reply to Nina W–don’t think I did it right.)

  55. Dalovelee says:

This freak of nature is plain crazy and a narcissist. The only reason the media follows him is easy…they make $$$ off of reporting whatever the delusional fool says ..Hollywood worships delusional freaks and reality shows do nothing but promote crazies like him. That’s why the Kardashians welcome him because he is trash like them.

  56. Hibitta says:

This little man is no genius. As one commenter mentioned, those who truly understand Rap music know that he is mediocre at best. It’s funny what impresses the masses these days. Mediocre, generic-looking and sounding “stars” that need a crew of people, a diaper and a security blanket to lip/synch in order to function. What happened to class? Manners? If you believe “that shit cray” is genius, then I wouldn’t blame you for defending this clown. Kim is miserable. She is no match for him and his big ego. I actually feel sorry for her. She seems worried.

  57. Thiajoka says:

You know what I’m beginning to think is going on here? He’s defensive because whatever his reason is, he really wants KimK and knows in his deepest psyche that she is a pop culture joke to most truly talented people who have earned their celebrity status the hard way–hard work and talent. And it’s goading him, he’s running it through his mind over and over, and, hence, overcompensating by declaring her (and now her family) as more than they actually are. And since he’s the only one who “sees” this wealth of worth in them, he’s got an edge on everyone else. Basically, just like a kid who knows he’s made a bad choice but really wanted to do the deed anyway, he’s justifying it by being sullen and defensive.

  58. BlackRose says:

Maybe all of his egomaniacal bullshit sounds wonderful in his head, but to me. . . it just sounds like the rantings of a delusional narcissist. And Kanye is FAR from being a genius. He’s a marginally talented 36 year old man who throws tantrums about the fashion industry not taking his leather jogging pants idea seriously. Grow up already!

  59. Melibea4ever says:

    This guy is exhausting!

  60. Sue says:

Whatever – but this guy is crazy in love with Kim. It is really quite cute. I have never seen any other famous male defend their girlfriend/spouse this much. Got to give him kudos for that.

  61. lisa2 says:

the thing I find most fascinating is how people twist themselves around and around to justify how unbalanced he sounds. He may be over sensitive; he may care about the injustice and unfairness in the industry.. but please tell me what exactly is he doing about it. Other than these rambling rants and temper tantrums about how unfair or wrong “people” are about him and his life and family.

What is he doing about it; what is he doing to help others.. from what I see he has gone from being pretty quiet to being the biggest Media junkie around.

  62. Melanie says:

Actually, modern day poets are the modern day poets. It’s almost as if he didn’t realize they still exist.

  63. gimmy says:

Kanye is a poes really. Weeks ago he was dotting across streets in lOUIS VUITTON, just because the bosses @LV didnt wanna meet him,he rants and rants and rants. Who on earth do you think you are Kanye? Nowhere close to John Legend. YOU ARE A POES REALLY>>>

  64. gerald says:
