Guy Ritchie’s dad has never been Madonna’s biggest fan. To be fair to John Ritchie, would you like Madonna as a daughter-in-law? John Ritchie is talking to the press about how happy he is that Guy and Madonna split, and that Madonna has lots of boyfriends post-split. John’s so happy with Madonna’s boyfriends because that means she won’t try to reconcile with Guy.

Guy Ritchie’s father has welcomed Madonna having ‘lots of boyfriends’ since the divorce from his film director son last year.

John Ritchie says he hopes the singer’s distractions will keep her from ever changing her mind on ditching Ritchie so ‘she won’t be looking for him.’

Slamming his former daughter-in-law he said: ‘The worst thing would be if they reconciled.’

But dad says the former couple have firmly buried the hatchet for the sake of the kids, telling: ‘There are no big arguments between them. All they discuss is the children’.

Madonna, 50, has been linked to New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez and a string of models since her divorce.

Some may disagree, but I think Guy Ritchie won the image war during the divorce. It’s better to leave the field with a sense of honor, and these kind of bitchy comments from his dad don’t really help. I seriously doubt Guy put his father up to it however. It sounds like John Ritchie just answered some pestering journalist’s questions with honesty and candor.
