In yesterday’s Chelsea Handler post – the one about Chelsea single white female-ing Jennifer Aniston’s hair (and life!) – some commenters suggested a hidden history between Jennifer and Chelsea, a conspiracy theory that I hadn’t heard. The theory: that Chelsea had hooked up with Justin Theroux in some way and that perhaps Chelsea and Jennifer’s relationship was ruined because of it, and maybe that’s why Jen and Justin are acting like they’re broken up too. Just to be clear: no one has any evidence that any of that happened. At all. It’s just an interesting theory. But Star Magazine has a different theory! According to unnamed “Aniston pals,” Jennifer has begun to realize that Chelsea Handler is a gauche starf—ker. *clutches pearls*

“Jen called Chelsea a suck-up for begging for an invite to Sandra Bullock’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony and hanging all over her,” hisses an Aniston pal. “Chelsea doesn’t even know Sandra!”
Jen’s also rolling her eyes over Chelsea’s gauche behavior. “Chelsea name-drops everyone she hangs out with, whether it’s Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon, Katie Couric or 50 Cent,” says the insider, “Jen’s definitely pulled back from Chelsea.”

Here’s my question: Jennifer is just realizing this NOW? Chelsea has always been on the Uptradey Warpath (she’s like Pippa Middleton only… no, there’s no difference). Chelsea has always traded favors and favorable coverage for off-camera “friendships” and access. She’s always been gauche. It says more that being “gauche” about uptrading girlfriends is more of a dealbreaker for Aniston than, say, all of that awful crap Chelsea has said about Angelina Jolie and the Jolie-Pitt children.

I could actually see Chelsea and Justin together more than Justin and Jennifer. They are both irreverent and sarcastic, and have some edge. I don’t care for any of these people – I just think if any two go together, it’s them.
Totally agree. I always get a Barbara striesand-y (sans talent) off aniston. But handler and Justin just give off a kind of dirty vibe. Maybe that’s why we assume there’s more.

Yeah, I read that – pretty clearly about them, but it depends on how much of a CDAN blind can be believed. I could see it being true though.
CH is SUCH a hanger on, it seems obvious from afar, but who knows in person.
I only gave it a second thought because Justin is a cheater (I do think he’s probably cheated on Heidi over the years w/non famous people, just because of how he handled the whole thing), and because one of the last times Jennifer was on the show–she and Chelsea discussed this rumor that Jennifer and Justin walk around naked. Basically Chelsea said she’d seen Justin naked, because she walked in on him, while he was changing, and Jennifer said that Chelsea was always barging in.
So I don’t really think it’s true, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was.
CDAN blinds are now written by a bunch of illiterate interns. So, no, I don’t buy that as a source, personally.
I DO think J/J have split and her PR people are putting all kinds of stuff out there so that she’ll look sympathetic and he’ll wear a douchebag hat when the news finally breaks.
I am thinking it’s more that since a certain person had some major health problems and is no longer an easy target Handler has lost her usefulness.

It’s when one woman has a sort of obsession with another, and starts to copy details about the other. From the way they dress, to the way they do their hair, and maybe even going after the woman’s man. She covets the lifestyle of her friend.
And to add to Nicolette’s description: it’s without the permission of the friend that’s being copied. Very passive-aggressive and underhanded. Which is completely the opposite of two besties going to look like twins on purpose and with each others’ knowledge and permission.

Happened to me, and unfortunately it took me a while to realize it was happening. So creepy, and it makes you feel terrible for having to end a friendship. But… I don’t know what other options would be in that situation really, once you realize it has gotten to a level far beyond coincidence…

Well said – if Jennifer didn’t care about the fact that Chelsea attacked children (the JPs) then that says a lot about Jennifer’s personality.
Jennifer has started her pr games to make herself look like a victim again – this time rumors of Justin and Chelsea hooking up, Chelsea using their friendship etc. This is just the groundwork so expect more to come in the near future.
But unlike classy and dignified Angelina who never responded to Jennifer’s petty and pathetic attacks – Chelsea will fight dirty and every secret will come out about Jennifer.
Some of us said a few weeks ago that we were all waiting for the day Jennifer and Chelsea breaks up and the fireworks to begin. It seems that is have begun so lets sit back and enjoy the real Jennifer to be exposed.

Some of you also hijack stories about other people, usually Jennifer Aniston, and use them as an opportunity to comment about how wonderful Angelina Jolie is; it happens every time.
If it makes you feel better I can add other women to the list of people Jennifer has attacked and who has behaved with class and dignity.
Lets see – there is Heidi who was in a 14 year relationship with Justin when Jennifer cheated with him for almost a year and then ruined that relationship. Jennifer used to media to say that Heidi and Justin were on and off – they weren’t in a relationship and were only roommates etc. Heidi to this day hasn’t said a word about Jennifer nor Justin.
Now lets go to Jennifer’s former friend Jo Gartin – Jennifer slept with Jo’s then husband Chris who was also the father of her two children. Again Jennifer used the media and friends to claim the marriage was over etc and yet Jo hast said anything against Jennifer.
I can go on and on about Jennifer’s showbusiness friends, her attack on other women and how they behaved like adults while Jennifer still behaves like a high school girl.

Face it, She runs her mouth, STILL after 25 years in the business, and fails to understand that in Hollywood loose lips sink ships. I am not so against her having negative thoughts as to her blabbing it in interview.

She did NOT have cancer. She had an elective pre-emptive surgery because she had increased chances of getting cancer, NOT because she actually had cancer.
Angelina did not “survive” cancer, because she never had it.
I think Angie is brought into this conversation because Handler goes out of her way to sling personal attacks against Angie and the Jolie-Pitt children. So there’s a reason for the reference.
In regards to Handler “upgrading” her celebrity friends from Aniston to Bullock, I only have three words for Ms. Bullock: Run Sandy, run!

The only time I have seen Chelsea’s Talk Show was when Sandra B was guesting & they did this totally nude shower scene together. I also remember seeing pics of Chelsea & Reese attending Sandra’s sons Birthday Party. Sandra & Chelsea are definitely friends. Not so sure how close Jen & Chelsea are any more.

Thanks to posts on here, I have never seen a Chelsea Handler show (other than the bit with her and Conan in the shower ). She looks like the trashy bitch at the local bar who drinks too much and starts fights with strangers, knowing someone will step in.Then her only son has to come get her from the bar while she drunkenly tells him how much of an asshole his father was and how much she does on her own before she makes her son promise to never leave her, then throws up in the bowl beside her bed. And I have never, ever gotten the appeal of Jennifer Aniston. She looks like a Punch and Judy doll with that chin and is still only relevant because she’s a graduate of Wronged-Partner University.

Here is what I think happened. Chelsea just didn’t like Angelina and trashed her. Jen found this particularly funny and reached out to Chelsea. Then they started hanging out. Jennifer loves Chelsea and her anti Angelina jokes. But she will say anything to come off as a clean goody two shoes in the public eye.
Actually, it was Aniston who was once the target of Handler’s personal attacks on her E! talk show; not Angie. It wasn’t until Aniston and Handler started hitting the town together, that the insults against Angie and her kids began. That’s why many believe Aniston is the primary instigator in Handler’s personal attacks against Angie, as they didn’t start until the Aniston-Handler friendship was sealed.
Handler signed with CAA in May 2009. Aniston is also represented by CAA. It’s around this time that there seems to be a “cease and desist order” issued (probably from Huvane) to Handler regarding her attacks on Aniston. A year and a half later, Aniston and Handler are already known in the tabloids as “good friends” and are seen on vacation together in Cabo. The personal attacks against Angie began around this time.
Sandra looks like she wants to scream, “Help me, get this woman off of me!” but is too genuinely nice to be rude so she’s smiling. hahaha
Chelsea Handler is nothing. I don’t know why so many celebs even pay attention to her. She isn’t funny, far from pretty, and sucks up to celebs she likes while trashing all the other ones very harshly. I don’t understand why any celebrity would associate themselves with her.

If this is true then I wonder how this will go down since Jen and Chelsea have the same PR person. Would Chelsea trash Jen becaue I believe she has a lot on Jen or is their a clause in their contract which would keep Chelsea mouth closed.

Sandra has been friends with Chelsea Handler for a while now. Remember the shower scene skit for Chelsea’s show, it was Sandra’s idea apparently. If we are going to judge JA for her association with Handler than we should be doing the same with Sandra, Charlize and Reese.
The only difference is we don’t hear Handler slinging personal attacks on individuals who are associated with Sandra, Reese and Charlize….and that’s a major difference.

Frankly, like Jennifer but though it odd all along she was friends with Chelsea. For all I know Chelsea could be nice but she is really gross and kinda like a female Howard Stern disgusting sleazeball digger. (Howard is reportedly a nice guy – no clue but don’t like his show style. ) I mean I am far from a prude believe me but there is certain behavior that is just IMO just for public consumption. Wonder if Gwyneth is involved with this? Her infamous TMI of late really was indulged by Chelsea to a disgusting degree, upset GP’s entire family, plus Gwyneth is notorious for being a s_it disturber with women. Plus Gwynnie was shunned by Jen for good reason and trying to start a rival clique per her jr. high school mentality typical MO. Plus Jen and Goopers have same agent and he has been pressuring the well liked Jen to PR Gwyneth’s image and Jen is upset and won’t do it because she can’t stand Goopers. I liked Jen a lot better when she and Courtney were BFF’s – Courtney too. Seems to me Jen should dump Handler and work things out with her “Friend” Courtney!
