The home where Blake Incarcerated (Civil-Fielder) and Amy Winehouse live was burgled on Thursday morning. People magazine reports that a “set of valuable guitars and recording equipment” were among the items stolen, but I have a question. Amy Winehouse still had expensive stuff in her home that she hadn’t pawned for drug money? Shocking. I wonder if the burglars were Amy’s druggie friends.
Amy Winehouse, currently vacationing in the Caribbean, was burgled in her north London apartment – where a set of valuable guitars and recording equipment were taken.
The door of the singer’s home was smashed in, and robbers made off with the belongings early Thursday, her rep confirms – adding that it appears a neighbor disturbed the burglars, who then escaped before the police could arrive.
“Amy is upset, of course. But everything can be replaced,” her rep, Chris Goodman, tells PEOPLE. “From her point of view, her favorite guitar is with her in St. Lucia. It was a special present, given her by [record label] Universal for winning the Grammy awards last year.”
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police would not discuss what was stolen, but confirms, “We are investigating a burglary at an address in Camden at around 4 a.m. on Thursday. Inquiries are continuing.”
The break-in marks yet another drama for Winehouse, 25, who is stoically claiming she will not allow her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil to divorce her, despite his family’s vow that the formal split will proceed.
Winehouse Burgled! I don’t mean to make light of it, it sucks to have your home broken into. Perhaps the burglars were following the minute-by-minute reporting on Winehouse’s antics on vacation, and knew that she would be nowhere near her home. Drama just follows this girl like a bad habit.

She probably owed money for drugs, then she comes out and says she’s on holiday indefinitely. Her dealers, not knowing when she’d be back to settle up, decided “f*ck it” and stole what was valuable.
Looking at Amy’s ever rapid degeneration in the past weeks and months, I’m highly suprised that there was anything left in that house which was worth taking. I think they burgled her house hoping to find her stash of drugs and then sell those for good money. When they realised she took all her drugs with her on vacation, they just went for whatever was left because they were furious.
Aw, too bad. Still, she seems to be taking it in her stride.
Kaiser – very common this, following someone’s movements through the media for burglary purposes, growing trend in the UK for footballers’ homes to be targeted while they’re playing matches – whole spate of them recently. Footballers’ houses are usually filled with bling tho’, Amy’s not so much, probably.
Baho–thats definitley it. Same thing happened to my husband’s cousin–but he told his mom it was a random break in. Weird–how’d they know exactly where his expensive synthesizer was but didn’t touch his roommate’s laptop?
How about keeping an eye on hospital admissions for overdose in the next few days ?
I can’t help but think she looks like Jason Biggs with a bad eyeliner and bad wig.
I think she looks much better. She still dresses horribly but her face is filling out a little bit.

What thief would be brave enough to touch her belongings ?
No junkie leaves a bunch of drugs at their house when they leave on vacation – they do them all first.
Aside from the five guitars they reportedly nicked, I’d say she came out better because of the cleanup after. It’s been said it’s like a county tip in that place.
Blake the Snake likes the slutty rats-nest. She’s only keeping it off because of the wind and the beach. It’ll be back on in 3 … 2 … 1 …

Then again you think that a person of her stature would have a solid alarm system and all the trimmings that go with it.
Did she have an alarm system set up inside? These criminals might have indeed followed the news and thought no one would be home. Good to have an automated system to randomly turn on lights in the house to give the apperance that someone is home.
