Stop. Seriously. Can you not, Madonna? Her face looks like one of those photoshop face swaps. Supposed to be pretty then you see her face. Looks more like a White Walker.

  2. mollie says:

    her eyes look so tired.

  3. Jaded says:

Go away Madonna. It’s time to put your blatant self-absorption and obsession to rest.

  4. Lady D says:

Daily Mail: La’Wren Scott committed suicide.

  5. claire says:

It’s probably photoshopped all to hell, but I do think she looks cool with white hair.

    • Laine says:

Madonna doesn’t care what you/anyone thinks of how she dresses and presents herself. I say good for her not being afraid/ashamed/embarrassed to be who she darn well wants to be. Being in her 50’s is not going to prevent her from having a great time. I would love to wear my hair long and gorgeous and dress up like Daenerys Targaryen.. awesome!!…then hit a party. You have one life here on earth – what a waste of time saying someone is pathetic and tragic, trying to pass for a 26 year old. Good grief – get a life! You are the ones who appear pathetic.

    • Vanessa says:

      I like it too.

  6. Simmo2207 says:

Not related to these stories but has anyone seen the news about L’Wren Scott? Apparently she has committed suicide. So sad πŸ™

    • don't kill me i'm french says:

      sad sad sad
it’s a shock ….i follow her on twitter and she posted a new tweet even 2 hour ago

      • Kim1 says:

        What was the tweet?

      • don't kill me i'm french says:

        @kim1
        a link to her facebook
        L’Wren Loves… Tim Walker what a great #inspiration love his #photography #light #colour!

i was not crazy of her dress but i liked her taste for the pics

      • Kiddo says:

@don’t kill me i’m french Oh, That’s so sad. Such an ordinary tweet followed by an extraordinary act. Life can be so weird.

      • don't kill me i'm french says:

        @kiddo
        it’s so weird and sad

    • Dommy Dearest says:

      She hung herself.

    • Happy21 says:

Saw that! Shit! I had no idea she was troubled. She always seems happy. Goes to show how some people hide their pain.

Does anyone know if she struggled with mental illness or addiction? Is there anything that would have been a warning that this could happen? I don’t know much about her except that she is a designer and has been dating Mick Jagger for quite sometime…

    • Dreamyk says:

      Absolutely shocking. So incredibly sad.

Just saw the CDAN link. I have no words. Terrible.

      • KateBush says:

        Omg I’m shocked!!
Is it because of Mick’s cheating you think? I thought he had finally settled down and they always seemed so happy together. This is going to be a huge shock to him.

  7. TheCountess says:

    She’s pathetic.

On the plus side, Purim = eating Hamentashen. Mmmmm.

  8. Kelly says:

    Cannot unsee!
So she thinks she can pass for a 26 year old? Huh. Interesting. Well makes sense why she keeps dating in that age range. Hilariously tragic.

    • LadySlippers says:

I think she thinks she’s only relevant if one is young. Or appears young.

    • Lilacflowers says:

Pass for a 26 year old? What 26 year old? In the books, Dany births her dragons at about the age of 13 or 14. Why can’t a 55 year old dress up for Purim? People much older do. Is there an age at which we are supposed to stop having fun?

  9. Lucy says:

Stonefield are sort of my real-life OTP. Yay for them!!!

  10. GeeMoney says:

Currently waiting for Madonna to accept the fact that she’s 55 years old. Any day now…

A few years ago when Madonna performed at the Super Bowl, when I asked my friend what she thought of Madonna still making music and still trying to wear cute clothes in her 50’s, my friend just casually replied, “Madonna needs to just hang it up already.”

  11. Bread and Circuses says:

I’m going to be nice. She looks good! This photo is very flattering to her face, and her muscular build looks awesome with this sort of a kickass-warrior outfit.

What–you’re not allowed to get your cosplay on if you’re her age? You totally are!

I don’t like it when Madonna puts her sinewy buttocks in my face, but in these photos, she’s fully dressed and she looks great. Let’s not excoriate the woman out of habit.

  12. Kiddo says:

Here’s a question, do rich people who post selfies ever make it out of the bathroom?

  13. mkyarwood says:

Does one dress up for Purim!? That’s pretty cool. I do want that bodice.

    • Amy Tennant says:

I have a similar one in black I bought for my steampunk outfit

    • LadySlippers says:

      Yes!

Purim is a Jewish holiday celebrating the fact that someone tried to destroy us (Haman is the bad guy) and failed. It’s a very festive and fun holiday.

Here’s a link for more info:

    • TheCountess says:

Well… Children dress up for Purim, in very colorful costumes in fact. I’ve never known an adult who dressed up for it and that Madonna not only seems to have appropriated it as a “Jewish Halloween” but also didn’t even at the very least respect the generally exuberant use of color as an expression of happiness (over the salvation of Jews in Persia) in favor of looking like, well, Goth Madonna, is just another notch in her “ugh” belt.

      • mkyarwood says:

Well, I learn something great every day. I’m cool with adults dressing up when children do, but I do think Madonna is… flattering herself. Do we think Madonna knows how to be exuberant anymore? Haha.

      • LadySlippers says:

Perhaps it’s different for different communities as I’ve always seen adults dress up right along the kids. I’ve dressed up too.

Although, even when adults DO dress up it’s not sexy and Daenerys is most definitely very sexy. Remember most Purim parties are held in the synagogue and most synagogues are just as conservative as a lot of churches…

I like her costume — it’s just more Halloween appropriate than it’s Purim appropriate.

      • TheCountess says:

@LadySlippers, agreed. If you’re going to dress up as an adult, don’t go this route. The Purim parties I have attended have always been in shuls and I can’t imagine the reaction if anyone, adult or child, walked in wearing this getup :/

      • LadySlippers says:

Especially an Orthodox shul. Imagine the heart failure there with a sexy costume???? (Actually that gave me a good laugh!)

Although, I don’t think her Kabbalah center look that strict and is don’t know if they’re shuls…

      • Lilacflowers says:

I know many adults who attend Purim parties in costume and the local senior centers all have Purim costume parties.

      • TheCountess says:

@Lady, omg, I dated a guy whose father was a rather well-known mohel/cantor (he snips, he sings!) and me having been born and raised Catholic was enough to give him the willies. If I’d shown up in costume at the shul on Purim, I’m sure that would have solidified his view of me as the biggest living source of evil his son would ever know πŸ˜‰

Also, you inspired me to try to make poppyseed Hamentashen πŸ™‚

    • Lilacflowers says:

      Costume parties and hammentaschen!

  14. lucy2 says:

Very sorry to hear about L’Wren Scott.

Also, I only saw the first episode so far, but Cosmos is really good. Neil deGrasse Tyson is awesome.

    • MonicaQ says:

I saw him (NDGT) referred to as “Chocolate Space Satan” on some Christian blog. Almost spit out my coffee last week.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I have only seen episode #1 as well, but I really like the show so far. It makes me really happy that there is something like it on prime time tv.

    • Sullivan says:

      Yes! Love Cosmos and Neil.

  15. MonicaQ says:

I just had to put my cat Khaleesi to sleep (8 years old so she was named before the show) and I had a moment looking at these pictures. She was my tiny 4 pound hoard rescued dragon queen.

  16. SamiHami says:

Ah, Madonna. I never liked her at all. Now I just feel sorry for her. All her money can’t make her 25, or even 45, again. Pity she can’t accept her age and just enjoy each stage of life as it comes.

On another note, I got a call from the Kaballah center in Florida a few months ago! They are trying to get their holy book into as many homes and institutions as possible because just having it around will make your life better. They offered to send me one for free, so I figured why not? Might be interesting. I had them send it to my office, not my home.

Anyway, it showed up the other day. It’s in Aramaic, so I guess I’ll have to hope the blessings and good fortune happen, since I can’t actually read it.

  17. lisa2 says:

Isn’t it easier to just be yourself than to be someone else. I know it is a costume, but it seems like Madonna wants to be anyone outside herself.

Trying to be someone else just looks like way too much work and thought. Being yourself is easier. You just Be.

I hate that Madonna turned into this insecure person. There was so much awesome about her.

  18. FingerBinger says:

I guess I’m in the minority, but I think Madonna looks cute.

    • Sullivan says:

      Me too, Fingerbinger.

    • LadySlippers says:

I don’t think she looks bad, it’s just a costume better suited for Halloween than Purim.

    • Lilacflowers says:

I think she looks fine and the ageism I am seeing directed her way is troubling.

      • SamiHami says:

It’s not ageism. I doubt if anyone here has a problem with people of any age. It’s when one so is so obviously desperate to deny their own age that it raises eyebrows. It is interesting to see someone who seems to have everything-money, fame, success, some say talent (I don’t but that’s not the point), healthy children, etc, but is so obviously fixated on the fact that like everyone else, she is aging. Instead of enjoying the fruits of her labors she is looking for a magic potion (or surgical procedure) to try to stave off the inevitable and she is getting poor results. That’s what is fascinating to people. It’s not ageism…it’s the sideshow that she’s turned herself into.

      • LadySlippers says:

I’m in 100% agreement with SamiHami.

  19. Skins says:

    yuck

  20. decorative item says:

Um, she glued toy dragons to her shoulders. TOY DRAGONS TO HER SHOULDERS!

  21. magz says:

Beib’s tattoo looks horrible and like a 3 yr made it, just a blob in comparison to the original art piece. At least get a good artist to get the details right and have the arm actually look like one.
