Oh. My. God. I hope I’m including enough angles on these photos of Scarlett Johansson, because I am astounded by the fact that she seems to be carrying this baby in her boobs and her boobs alone. No, that’s not right. Her face is changing too, in kind of a weird way. But that’s it. Only her face and boobs look pregnant. Nothing else. I even think her waist looks even more slender than usual.
Anyway, these are photos of ScarJo at last night’s London premiere of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Scarlett wore this red Vivienne Westwood Fall 2014 dress which is being strained to its limit. Westwood makes dresses that flatter the large-busted (Christina Hendricks was the face of Westwood jewelry for a while), but I feel like even Vivienne Westwood was like, “Damn, these puppies cannot be contained!” I also think Westwod added that special top bust panel just for Scarlett’s puppies – the usual Westwood design is more of a low-cut bustier, so I think we’re dealing with some additional fabric. Plus, I can actually see the bottom bust panel (probably the original paneled design) as it strains to lift and push Scarlett’s boobs. That fabric panel is sending out an S-O-S. I feel you, Scarlett. Her back must be killing her. Her boobs are so distracting, I almost didn’t notice that fabulous Sonia Boyajian necklace. LOOK AT IT.
As for what’s going on with her face… well, she looks tired and she’s wearing a mountain of makeup. Like, Christina Aguilera-level caked-on foundation. Scarlett doesn’t need all that, and it’s making her look really weird. Last thing about ScarJo: I like a good brick-red shade as much as anyone, but I feel like this Westwood is going too “muddy” on Scarlett. She needs more of a blue-red.
I’m also including a few shots of Hayley Atwell in Julien MacDonald. I think if ladies want to do a bold and non-matchy shoe, that’s fine… but this contrast is too much. I kind of think a green or a silver shoe would have looked much cuter.

The minimal eye makeup is the reason she looks so tired. Not a good look for her but the dress is really beautiful.

I think her face has been thinning out in recent years too. It’ll be drastic post baby. Unfortunately that’s what makes us women age.
I like her overall look but she needs eye makeup! She would’ve looked incredible with some eyeliner.
The make-up looks is awful-that is news anchor make-up if ever I saw it.
Many women actually lose weight in their first trimester due to morning sickness. That could explain why her waist looks to tiny and also why her face looks a bit puffy and tired.
Her figure looks stunning! Maybe as she puts on weight during pregnancy she will remember that she is sexier with more curves and stop trying to be so tiny after she gives birth. I always thought she looked better with more weight on her, it goes to all the right places on her figure.
Has she ever looked skinny? Fit yes, but skinny? I don’t think she has ever really lost the curves and I must say, I have always liked that about her.
Exactly (regarding her losing weight and looking exhausted.) Those side-effects are consistent with the way some women’s early pregnancies go.
And yes, she looks amazing — especially for someone who is pregnant. Bet she’s going to look gorgeous right to term.
Yeah I am 8 weeks right and down three pounds in the past two weeks. And I feel like I am caking on the makeup just to cover all these strange little pimple like bumps that are suddenly all over my face. Add in the utter exhaustion and I am just in awe that she is putting in the effort to look great!
THIS. Also, her boobs are markedly larger. I have a friend we said had a “boob pregnancy” because her cup size went from a B to a DD before she started showing in her waist.

There’s been a set of twins on my mom’s side of the family from as far back as they can remember—my cousin had my generation’s set of twins.

@chrissy: you’ve got it backwards. Identical twins are pure chance. Fraternal twins can run in families though. You’re also more likely to have twins after 35 because you don’t ovulate as regularly, so there’s more of a possibility that you’ll release 2 eggs one month.
I like the dress but my boobs hurt looking at her. Boob-sympathy I guess, those things will get ginormous.
She looks good. I can’t stand her anymore, but she looks pretty, which I think is what she truly cares about. Maybe she’ll grow a heart and a conscience along with her baby.

Well, I’m a Kiwi and it’s a pretty common expression over here. The origin of it seems to be more Aussie though 😄
It’s essentially the same phrase as “bun in the oven”. Duff = ancient slang for dough. (Not used these days for anything except “up the duff”.)
The whole “baked goods = pregnant” thing comes from old slang, where a pregnant woman was “in the pudding club”. That slang came from pudding = penis. That, in turn, came about because the Middle English word for sausage was “poding”.
So penis > sausage > poding > pudding > baked goods = pregnant.
I think we should place bets on how big her boobs get by month 8/9. Poor thing…they are going to be humongous.
Haha! Every woman carries differently, but every large chested woman I know, carried all in the boobs. My sister, who is very curvy – DD’s, small waist, etc, looked her skinniest since college during her pregnancy, except for her tiny belly. From the back, you couldn’t tell she was pregnant, even two days before giving birth.

Yup…definetely pregnant from the boobs up…She looks like she is having morning sickness issues…really pale, puffy face…I was one of the lucky ones and never had an ounce of morning sickness with either of my pregnancies!

God, I absolutely covet Scarlett’s dress, it’s absolutely stunning and she looks fantastic. Very happy to see Hayley Atwell too-really hoping this means we get a decent flashback with her in Winter Soldier.
Just saw “Need for Speed” tonight (please don’t judge, I love Aaron Paul!) and they had a good 4-5 minute clip from “Winter Soldier” in there before the movie. It looks absolutely amazing!!

I believe they are already filming in South Africa (?). I’m sure once this tour is done, they will get her scenes out of the way or least the majority of them. I won’t be surprise if we read reports of them filming her from the chest up at some point.

Oh do I feel for her! My boobs did the same thing when I was pregnant with my son. I could never find a proper fitting bra and they hurt so bad. I was so happy after he was born and I was done nursing that they went back to normal. I think she looks fantastic here! My waist did not stay tiny while pregnant. It will be interesting to see what she looks like as her pregnancy progresses. It must be really hard to be promoting two films while still in the early stages of pregnancy. I recall being tired and sick all the time.

There’s way too much powder/whiteish eye shadow/concealer around her eyes. It’s making her look like an alien.
Between the boobs and the obvious fatigue, she looks like she’s having trouble standing up, like she just wants to tip over onto a big soft mattress and pass out.
I would feel sympathy, but between the oxfam thing, the woody allen thing and her numerous boneheaded comments in the New Yorker…I’ve got no love for her anymore.
I see her and all I think is “freaking Woody Allen apologist waiting for her next chance to do a film with him and get guaranteed an Oscar”. I wonder how Scarlett will feel when her child enters this world, especially if it’s a girl. Will she let Mr Allen baby sit her wee one?? A shame as I was such a fan of hers.
The spring of my discontent?
I was flipping through the pictures on the site and it suddenly hit me that I don’t know anything about these people or really care anything about these people and their private lives.
I think I have now broken the habit of reading about these people who don’t matter to my life and my interest, knowing about them does not stop my daily aging it’s just my wasting my limited time on Earth reading about them, so when Saint Peter ask “what I have done in my life” I will need more than just celebrity watching and commenting on my resume.
Knowing their names or what they have been up to does not help me with my monthly struggle with my check book.
Knowing who’s pretty/handsome doesn’t pay me car not or garage repair bill
there is not financial prize in knowing who kissed who, when and where, or magic illness cure.
We tend to lose sight of how brief our youth and health and even life is and we clutter what should be our most precious moments with unnecessary garbage, like celebrity fame-mongering.
