Cameron Diaz admits, ‘I have been with a lady’ in the bedroom

Cameron Diaz

You only thought Cameron Diaz’s tour for The Other Woman was finished. The movie came out last weekend, so Cami should be resting on a Hawaiian beach somewhere, right? Wrong. She’s still talking! Cameron is always entertaining and opinionated, but it would be fine if she took a little vacation. Let’s hang on a bit longer for her latest soundbite.

The funny thing about Cameron’s talking points is that when she says “everyone” does something, she really means that she does it. Cameron hands out advice like Goop does … but without the monetary requirement. The distinction is important because Cam is more amusing than insufferable. Cam’s all about sweeping statements on down-there hair, cheating, and monogamy. Cam is a big philospher on relationships, and this new interview reaches back to the moment when she said “all women have been attracted to another woman.” Cam has a new interview with Andy Cohen, and she finally admits that she has gotten busy with another woman. Ahem:

Is Cameron Diaz a lady in the streets and a freak in the sheets?

In Glamour U.K.’s May 2014 issue, the single star said she believes that “all women have been sexually attracted to another woman at some point.” When the actress and her Other Woman co-star Leslie Mann appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live Monday, she was asked if she had ever acted on that attraction. “Have you, yourself, ever swam in the lady pond?” host Andy Cohen wondered.

“Interesting!” Diaz said, laughing. “What is the lady pond?”

“Have you ever been with a lady?” Cohen asked.

“Yes, I have been with a lady. Yeah,” Diaz said. The TV host then asked, “More than once?”

“You didn’t ask explicitly how I was with a lady,” Diaz told Cohen, “but I have been with a lady.”

The actress–who dated New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez from 2010 to 201–was also asked about the “best and worst thing about dating a baseball player.” The 41-year-old blond laughed and said, “I think schedule and schedule!”

For her third and final question in the Plead the Fifth segment, Diaz was asked to name one movie she regrets starring in. “I don’t think I have any regrets,” the movie star replied. “Is that an answer?”

I still think Cameron is wrong when she says every woman in the universe has thought of heading to the other side. At least she’s finally listing herself as source material. A sociologist could perform one heck of a study based upon Cameron’s interviews to promote this movie. She’s run the gamut, and it will be interesting to see if she has anything left in the tank for her next press tour.

Here’s a video of Cameron (with Leslie Mann) on Andy Cohen’s show. She did not “plead the fifth” on the lady-pond question.

Hasn’t her movie been released yet? How much more of this do we have to take?

  2. Cecilia says:

    Been with a lady??

I bet you have, Cam — and her name is Drew Barrymore.

  3. Kiddo says:

But when will she mention George Clooney?

  4. Patricia says:

STOP! Please stop. The generalizations are insane. Of the three generalizations mentioned I am the amazing individual who breaks the rules for two. She would be just SHOCKED to meet me because I am naturally monogamous and have never cheated.
She’s really entertaining in movies. But why does she think she has the right or ability to speak for “all” women this way? It’s so obnoxious and it’s really turning me off from her. She used to seem down-to-earth but with this press tour she’s coming off like a total know-it-all and , just like most know-it-alls, she doesn’t know what the hell she’s talking about.

    • Hiddles forever says:

I break them all…. I wish she could just go sunbathing somewhere and finally shut up. I used to like her but in one month I changed my mind.
I could meet her in the street and as a reaction I could punch her and throw her in the boot of my car.. unsufferable, really!!

  5. Her Indoors says:

No one cares. Please shut up now. I used to like you, now I never want to hear or see you ever again with your desperate reek of “look at meeeeeeee, I’m so edgy and real!”

  6. danielle says:

I like cameron. She’s fun and means well.

  7. Sighs says:

    GOOOOOOOO AWAAAAAAAAAAAY!

  8. Karen says:

LOL oh boy, how long is “Cameron Diaz: Relationship and Sex Tour” going to last?

  9. ~Z~ says:

Well, that was rude! They didn’t even ask her if the lady had pubes or no pubes! 😆
I’m surprised she didn’t say ALL women have been with another woman at least once…

    • paola says:

      ahah!
Did she wear antiperspirant? Did she take care of her..ehrm…flower? Did she have lots of lovers and not just one woman? Is she monogamous?
Dear lord I hope that woman kept Cami’s mouth busy in bed or I’m sure she would have experienced a lot of lectures about anyhthing. She has an opinion about EVERYTHING!

      • ~Z~ says:

OMG! Yes, I think we ALL want to know if she was wearing antiperspirant!
Such vital details left out of such a compelling story….Interview FAIL!

      • FLORC says:

I think the antiperspirant story was brought up before. Diaz said she gets botox injections in her arm pits to reduce or eliminate sweat. No need for anything else after that.

      • Sighs says:

Wait. She won’t wear antiperspirant because we should be natural, so instead of chemicals ON her body she has them injected INTO her body? On what planet does that even make sense?

      • FLORC says:

It doesn’t have to make sense. To not use antiperspirant is an action of itself. Whatever counter actions do not take away from the fact she doesn’t use antiperspirant.
And much of what this woman says and does doesn’t fully make sense.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Did you see the interview where she talked about the shape and color of her poop? That’s when I sort of blocked her out.

  10. Goodnight says:

Just what the world needs: another daddy’s money lesbian

  11. Quinn says:

    Pleeeeeeease, make it endddddd!!!!!

  12. M.A.F. says:

Is this how women in their 40s now behave or is this the new way women in Hollywood feel the need to act ? Last year we had Paltrow talking about her 1970s bush and Diaz talking about being with a lady and her vagina. I don’t get it. Maybe at 32 I’ve become a prude but damn. I’m all for having the conversation but in the media? I don’t understand.

    • Jess says:

Oh dear lord I missed Goopy’s bush talk…I will not google…I will not google.

    • Emily C. says:

It’s definitely not all women. It is this group of women, Paltrow and Diaz and Aniston and Handler and etc.; they’re all friends, and they all enable each other.

      • M.A.F. says:

Maybe that is what it is. It is just too much. Have this conversation with your girlfriends at home with the wine flowing and not in front of the public.

  13. GiGi says:

I really enjoy WWHL (I know) but she and Leslie Mann were so OTT and ridiculous that I could barely watch the episode and skipped through a lot of it. If that’s what Cameron means by being a “girls’ girl” you can count me out. It was weird.

  14. poppy says:

her fun and easy has turned into stupid and desperate.

  15. Maria says:

I remember reading that post where Cameron stated she THOUGHT all women were attracted to other women and being annoyed with all the ‘not me’ responses.

So many declarations of heterosexuality were made that day, and for what, to point out you’re not bi curious or gay…

Then when one person stated she found that alienating to people who were bi/pan, everyone was so quick to say they just hated sweeping generalizations, while refusing to acknowledge how inadvertently dismissive they were being of her own sexuality…

But I guess that was perfectly okay because you (collectively speaking) didn’t mean it THAT way.

    Smh.

Cameron, who I’m not particularly fond of, answered a question she was asked- I see nothing wrong with what she said in this interview.

I do need her to take a break but I’d also like some folks to acknowledge their own hypocrisy for judging a woman who was simply sharing her opinions (we ALL know they’re not everyone’s truth).

    • FLORC says:

      What does smh mean?

And Cameron reminds me of the college lesbian. Same college lesbians that frustrated my full lesbian friend. So hard to find a gf when everyone appears to be faking their sexual orientation. Always finding them to lose interest r to just be trying to get a guys attention.

Diaz is the 40 year old college lesbian imo.

    • Dhavynia says:

      +1
People wil be calling her a liar if she wouldn’t answer, can’t satisfy everyone but she’s no way insufferable like Goop IMA plus she didn’t go trashing projects she’s been in

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

      @Maria
I’m really struggling with what you said. If Cameron said, “I think all women like vanilla ice cream,” and I said, well I don’t, would you find that offensive to vanilla ice cream? Even though it was just her opinion, it was a stupid and untrue sweeping generalization. What is wrong with people saying that it’s not true in their case? Every time someone says “I’m not attracted to other women” or “I don’t think so and so is gay” it’s NOT the same thing as saying “there’s something wrong with being gay or attracted to women.” Why do you insist on taking it that way?

    • Emily C. says:

She made an untrue statement. People posting contradicted said untrue statement. And frankly, I am tired of people saying that all women are bisexual. She is FAR from the first to do so; Dan Savage did it too. It’s incredibly common and very much not okay to claim you know what someone else’s sexuality is better than they do.

    • Becky1 says:

@ Maria-I thought it was kind of odd, too, that so many women on this site seemed to be offended by Cameron’s comments re: women being attracted to women. It didn’t seem like the kind of statement that was that big of a deal and I honestly don’t understand how it could have upset anyone.

  16. Patty says:

I want that white sweater and bag!!!

  17. Leah says:

I really wish she would stop speaking for me.

  18. Mary Jane says:

I ne’er cared for her, and I am so tired of Cam and her “TMI.”
She tries WAAAAAY to hard to be edgy and hip, but it just makes her look desperate and pathetic.

  19. mollination says:

“Lady Pond”??? Who says that, Andy Cohen?!?! Creeps me out.

  20. Jaded says:

You do not speak for me and about a bazillion other women Cammie so stop spouting inane generalities.

  21. Emily C. says:

She needs to just shut up. She’s not as bad as Goop, but who is? That’s like saying the flu isn’t as bad as pneumonia. Diaz is unintelligent, uneducated, willfully ignorant, attention-starved, and completely annoying.

  22. chick b. says:

“You didn’t ask explicitly how I was with a lady,” Diaz told Cohen

TRANSLATION: ‘A-Rod/Matt Dillon/Leto whined and whined for a three-way and I finally gave in.’

  23. Ravensdaughter says:

Is this like Cameron Diaz TMI year so far? It seems like ever since she started pushing whatever she’s pushing-oh, it was a movie-it’s been non-stop stuff I really didn’t need to know about someone who isn’t really all that interesting anyway. Or is that what this is all about? Is Cameron Dian more interesting now that I know about her view on pubic hair and whether or not she’s tried both?

  24. Hmmmmm, and yet, I still don’t seem to be able to make myself care….
