If there’s one thing I know about John Mayer, it’s that he loves a vulnerable famous woman, although I don’t know if that description applies to Lea Michele. Lea is mourning the death of her boyfriend, Corey Monteith, who passed about 10 months ago. From what we’ve heard from Lea she’s a smart, tough cookie who is soldiering on. Despite her sad circumstances I doubt Lea is naive or takes crap from anyone, is what I’m saying. While I believe that John Mayer is all over her like a shark smelling blood, I also believe that she’s wise enough to stay wide of him. So this Star story is ringing true to me. It’s also about people who aren’t famous enough to bother making up stories about them.

Insiders tell Star that the womanizing singer, 36, has been texting the Glee star nonstop. “John’s had a crush on Lea for a while,” says a source. “He constantly tells her how beautiful and talented she is.” But while the brunette beauty, 27, is flattered by the attention, she’s not interested in a romances. Pals say that since the tragic death of boyfriend Cory Monteith last July, Lea isn’t ready to date. “She just wants someone to have fun with,” continues the friend. “She isn’t about to give her heart away to someone like him.” Sorry to have to break it to you, John!

So does this mean that Lea isn’t playing, or that she’s responding and seeing Mayer and it isn’t serious? I hope it means she’s not even bothering with him. Mayer just broke up with Katy Perry after she played the ring game, so he’s looking for his next celebrity victim to hitch his train to, suck dry and then dump when it gets serious. Lea Michele is actually a good call for him, she’s famous enough and she gets a lot of attention from the press. Lea is not going to fall for it though, and props to her. Whom else should Mayer set his sights on? How about Brandi Glanville? I bet she’d go for it, and he’d definitely get tabloid headlines. She’s not defenseless enough though. I think his next target will be someone like Selena Gomez, sadly.

Yeah, much as I loathe him and don’t get his appeal at all, that performance was amazing. Still one of the most memorable parts of MJ’s memorial service for me.
He was pretty funny on the Chappelle show too. I mean, he basically just stood there with his stupid face but the fact that he even participated in the sketch about white people music/dancing was highlarious.
Um, I think this is planted by her team. They keep trying to make her happen outside of Glee, and its just not taking.
Plus, I don’t think she’s ever rebuffed anything that can get her noticed, other than a good stylist.
That was my first thought…..She would never turn down the attention she would get from that.
This. Her show is basically dead, her album was a flop and from I can tell her book is not going to do any better. She trying so hard to stay relevant and it does not seem to be working.
Her show is dead because the writers put it there unfortunately. (Although knowing this, I dont know why she would want to keep working with ryan Murphy). But the reason why her album didnt do well and why her book probably won’t do well is that she has such a small fanbase. Only the gleeks are true fans. And even then, not everyone in the fandom likes her. On one hand, I can’t blame her for hustling now and putting all this stuff out there while she’s “hot”, but at the same time, maybe it would have been better when she was a more established actress. *Shrugs*.

omg Nothing J mayer does is *not* for PR! Another PR hookup anything that keeps him relevant and in control of his press-which may be smart. But I also think this could be another bearding thing…who knows. But definitely PR, as was the Katy Perry thing. And the taylor swift ‘rumors’. I cannot believe anyone believes that or the other ‘hookups’ re Swift anyway. It’s like these blog sites pretend to be tween or teen fan sites once in awhile, when it’s so obviously just PR. I really don’t care one way or the other about who he dates-just funny to me that it’s put ‘out there’ as though it’s ‘real’.
If Lea is smart, she shouldn’t consider Mayer for Mr. Right-Now. Talent or not, this guy has proven himself to be a jerk. Mayer likes to kiss and tell; just ask his exes. There are too many reports out there that back this up. If Lea doesn’t want to be the next story to tell she stays far way from Mayer.
