Here’s a photo of Rob Kardashian in 2012. I wonder how the gossip world would cover Rob Kardashian’s weight if he was one of his sisters. He’s perfectly aware of the issue, and I think most of us feel a little bad for him right now. He’s the only male sibling in a family full of image-obsessed women. Looks are all that matter to the Klan … well, besides money. But looks = money for the Kardashians.

Depending on the source, Rob has gained close to 100 pounds. Friends are worried about him, and the situation came to a head last weekend when he bailed on the Kimye wedding. The prevailing theory is that Kim gave Rob a hard time for ruining her photos with his fatness. Radar has even more on Rob and Kim’s differences:

After Rob Kardashian arrived in Paris, for sister, Kim‘s wedding, the siblings got into a heated argument in which the sex tape star accused her brother of leaking negative stories about her to the media causing the sock designer to abruptly leave Italy before the reality star’s wedding to Kanye West, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

Adding insult to injury, the source claims Kim also hurt Rob’s feelings by bringing up his weight.

“Kim and Rob haven’t been speaking to each other for months…she thinks he is lazy, and bringing down the family name because of his physical appearance. After arriving in Paris, Rob and Kim got into a very heated argument because she thought he was just moping around the hotel. She encouraged him to go out and sight see, which he declined to do,” the source told Radar.

“This made her extremely angry, and they exchanged words. During the course of the argument, Rob was accused by Kim of leaking negative stories about her to the press. That was the final straw for Rob, because that is something he would never do.”

The source continued, “So, he packed his bags, and left Paris before the wedding. He wanted nothing to do with it, and thought it was ridiculous that Kim’s third marriage was so over the top.”

“He’s looking sad and ‘depressed’ big time right now,” a pal close to Rob told Radar. “He’s not exactly the famous one in his family and he sort of feels like he’s nobody except the Kardashian name.”

Shadowed by sister Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner and their momager Kris, Rob has taken to self-medicating as a way to cope.

“He takes Xanax and has been drinking really heavily,” the pal said. “Not to mention he’s eating like crazy!”

Sources also tell Radar, “The last thing Rob should be worried right now is about his weight….it’s just a symptom of his problems. He is clearly struggling and needs the support and love of his family. Judging him, making snarky comments about his weight, and so called lack of ambition isn’t helping.”

Oh, this is rich. Kim thinks that Rob is “bringing down the family name“? Kim must have forgotten how she became famous in the first place. Rob’s also not the one ducking in and out of marriages. If Kim wonders who’s leaking info about her to the tabloids, I suggest she look up the family chain instead of targeting Rob. He only wants to build his sock empire.

US Magazine, on their “Kim’s Wedding” cover, promises to reveal “Why Rob Fled His Family.” Their explanation is weak and claims that Rob “suffered a bout of self-consciousness” after spending “four days in France shrouded in jogging suits.” Their source claims that “Rob had a fit of depression. He just couldn’t handle it.” Kim was allegedly “upset, but at that point, there was nothing she could do.”

TMZ has a weird story from Rob’s trainer, Gunnar Peterson. Gunnar details his plan for Rob, which include an hour daily of high-intensity exercises and a full diet transformation. I don’t understand why these celebrity trainers talk like this about their clients. Gunnar sounds like a male version of Tracy Anderson, who delights in verbally abusing her own clients and their “disaster bodies.” I’d never pay some a-hole trainer to trash me in public like that.
