Some people want to believe that Beyonce flat-out hates the Kardashians. While I don’t think Beyonce really cares about the Kardashians at all, I always kind of thought she was probably nice to Kim because of her affection for Kanye West. But then Beyonce and Jay-Z refused to show up for Kim and Kanye’s wedding in May. So, maybe I was wrong. Maybe Beyonce really does hate Kim. And according to In Touch, Kim is holding a grudge about all of it:
Kim Kardashian recently called Beyoncé out on national TV, talking on Jimmy Kimmel Live about mishaps at her May 24 wedding. Kim complained, “The worst was someone canceling last minute,” possibly referring to Beyoncé and Jay Z’s choice not to attend.
Friends of the reality star tell In Touch that the statement was no accident, but intentionally planned.
“Kim is done playing nice,” a friend of Kim’s dishes in the new issue of In Touch – on stands now. “Beyoncé humiliated her.” The friend also says that Kim, who used to idolize the singer, “will never forgive Beyoncé unless she gets a public apology.”
Fat chance. “Beyoncé can’t stand Kim,” another insider tells the mag. “She thinks Kim got famous from a sex tape, while Beyoncé has worked since she was 5 to get to where she is today. Beyoncé thought that being photographed at Kim’s wedding would have made Kim look good and her look bad.”
Up until her Aug. 4 appearance on Jimmy’s show, Kim had avoided talking about the wedding-invite snub at the insistence of Kanye. But now, Kim doesn’t think she has to tiptoe around her rival anymore, the pal tells In Touch. “Kim thinks Beyoncé’s a fake, and that the real Beyoncé is nothing like the one the public knows. Not showing up for the wedding was a total slap in the face,” says the friend. “And now Kim’s not afraid to call her out on it.”
I remember watching Kim on Kimmel and wondering if that part specifically was about Beyonce and Jay-Z. But… Kim specified that it was someone who canceled at the last minute? Were Beyonce and Jay-Z ever going to go to the wedding, at any point? And if Kim ever criticizes Beyonce publicly… OMG. That will be so much fun. I agree that Beyonce is fake as hell, but Kim really isn’t the one to make that argument, now is she?
Oh, and The Sun UK (via Bossip) claimed this week that Jay-Z and Kim were at the same Malibu restaurant recently and neither of them spoke to each other. Jay-Z even saw her and he still didn’t say anything and I guess Kim ignored him. Well, Kanye was deleting Jay’s name from all of his lyrics, so maybe Kim and Kanye are BOTH pissed at Beyonce and Jay-Z.

I’m really trying to understand why Bey-Z’s no-show is a big deal to Kim (and Kanye?). I didn’t give a shit who showed up at my wedding. As long as my family was there, that’s all that mattered. How famewh*rish can you be to make the presence of two celebrities the highlight of your wedding? Oh, wait, I just answered my own question, didn’t I?
I just read an article in last week’s People that said Bey and Jay went to the Hamptons because they wanted some time alone to examine their marriage and whether or not they would stay together. That trip to the Hamptons coincided with Kim’s wedding. I can completely understand the Bey and Jay would want to put their marriage and the future of their family before Kim’s spectacle of a (third) wedding. Also, I imagine it would be difficult to attend a wedding when you’re having marital problems yourself, especially one where they would be photographed and would have to be “on” all night. Overall, I think Kim needs to understand and sympathize with this, and not waste energy on being angry at them for not gracing her D list wedding with their presence.

It’s one day, if someone can’t be there, it’s not the end of the world. If you care about someone you graciously accept that they can’t attend and move on with your life. Show some manners, oh that’s right, Kim has none.
I’m sure that Kim was upset only because Bey is a big name, someone to add clout to her ‘brand.’ If I were Bey, I wouldn’t attend her wedding either. Yes, I will hand it to Bey that she has worked hard, and she is talented, but Jay Z was almost certainly the one responsible for giving her stardom status. I liked Bey the way she was, but today, her style seems too oversexualized. Kim, on the other hand, has absolutely NO talent, except to pay her promotional people to put her image into as many mags as possible in hopes that she never becomes irrelevant…..having a sex tape to your name is not something I would be very proud of.
I’m really trying to stop hating on Kim (because I do it too much) but everything she wears is ugly and unflattering. She has to know she is a joke to the fashion world it’s a shame that Kanye is too far gone to get it.

Please – West had no contract with Lebovitz, and thus she didn’t “cancel at the last minute.” She’s one of the most well-known and respected photographers in the world, and is probably booked for things years in advance. If West had actually signed contracts with her to shoot his circus of a D-list wedding, he could have sued her for major bucks if she had “canceled.” This Lebovitz gig was all in his mind and had no basis in reality.
As for Jay-Z and Beyonce – everyone knew they weren’t going to show. No surprise at all.

I disagree. There is a BIG difference between singing and dancing on stage for YEARS to make it, to laying lifeless on your back in a sex tape. Kim was a hanger on to Paris for years and Paris treated her like one.
Her bright idea to take her to the next level (from Z-list to TT-list) was to do a porn like Paris (even her ideas aren’t original). That it worked is a testament that people will buy anything. Kim is just a semi-shaved Jersey Shore skank. I’m not out buying Beyonce’s music, but at least there is something tangible to sell, other than a ‘lifestyle’.

Jay has collaborated with plenty of people who he moved on from as soon as it was no longer beneficial to him. Dame Dash, R Kelly, Beanie SeigleFoxy Brown (who he even later admitted he regretted dropping her for Amil) It really is just business for him.
