Jennifer Lopez is reportedly receiving death threats from animal rights extremists who are angry about her using fur in her clothing line, as well as wearing fur to premieres.

I personally do not believe in wearing fur, but neither do I believe in slaughtering clueless bad singers who insist on wearing it all the time.

Jennifer Lopez has reportedly beefed up security in response to ugly threats on her life.

According to a friend, an animal-rights extremist has been sending letters threatening ‘to kill her in public, just like the slaughtered animals whose fur she wears.”

The source says J.Lo initially dismissed the notes, which have been arriving for a month, as lunatic junk mail. But husband Marc Anthony isn’t taking the matter lightly.

Lopez’s spokeswoman shot the story down as “untrue.” She said: “[Lopez] has had the same security team she has always had.”

This sounds terrible. I used to work for one of the big pharma companies and researchers on projects used to get all kinds of death threats. Threatening to take the life of a human for whatever reason is just not right in my book.

Hopefully they will find this lunatic and lock him up soon. Lopez may be a bad singer (and actress…and designer…and girlfriend…she really has a lot of self-improvement work to do, doesn’t she?) but she doesn’t deserve to be terrorised like this.
