Here are some photos of Kristen Stewart out and about in LA over the weekend. Random thoughts/details: She wore some too-tight 7 For All Mankind jeans and she was driving her Isuzu. She dropped her keys at one point and the photographer caught it all. I also really like her hair these days. Good color, the cut suits her and overall… she’s looking pretty good. She might need to go up one size in jeans though.
I have to say, I’m sort of impressed with Kristen these days. She’s enjoying great critical buzz about three films, all of which will be released in the next few months. She’s got Still Alice, which might end up getting K-Stew an Oscar nomination. She’s got Clouds of Sils Maria, also critically acclaimed. And she’s got Camp X-Ray, that film where she plays a guard at Gitmo. They just released a new trailer for Camp X-Ray and this has a feel of an Independent Spirit Award winner:
I said it before and I’ll say it again: I actually think Kristen looks really interesting in this role. She seems at home in a military fatigues and her whole awkward, butch vibe really works with this character.
As for Kristen’s personal life… she recently completed filming on Equals with Nicholas Hoult. Some people tried to make it into a thing, like Hoult went from J-Law to K-Stew, but the vibe I got from them was “friendship” or “bros.” I actually think there’s a decent chance she’s really dating Alicia Cargile. One thing I’m sure of: K-Stew is not trying to get back with Robert Pattinson. Robsten Is Broken. He’s with FKA Twigs and he’s probably moving back to London. Sparkles and K-Stew are over.
Kristen attended the NYFF premiere of Camp X-Ray last night & I’ll have those photos later. She’s also going to attend the NYFF premiere of Clouds of Sils Maria this week – the premiere is Wednesday night, so we’ll have the photos on Thursday. Just FYI.

I don’t know what the deciding factor for the ‘public’ is when it comes to these scandals, some female starlets never recover from the ‘home wrecker’ label.

If we can live in a world where Jonah Hill is a 2 x Oscar nominee, I think Kristen Stewart has a shot 😉
The Oscar’s are about personality and charisma and likability as much as it is about talent. Kristen possesses none of the above mentioned qualities. 😉
I thought Jonah was fantastic in Money Ball and Wolf of Wall Street. He’s brilliant in comedy and drama, a pretty hard feat. Kristen is ok in angsty drama. I won’t call her the worst ever. But Jonah has actual talent, imo. He’s proven that.

Yeah can you believe Channing Tatum has a shot at a now,he seems likeable but his acting is so poor to me. But i can respect someone trying to improve their craft as he has apparently done.
Crap, watched the trailer and I’m totally interested now. Stewart looked good in the part, so far.

But seriously, one good thing about their relationship seems to be the influence they had on each other in what do to at the tail-end/post Twilight. They both are going smaller, indie and even supporting roles with strong directors. Seems to be working positively for both.
Her pr team is working overtime.
The Sundance reviews for Camp X-Ray weren’t very positive, but KStew is doing a great job rebuilding her career with this steady stream of apparently decent performances in good indie/art-house films. She doesn’t have a great range, but she’s establishing herself as a serious actor – which frankly two years ago I didn’t think could possibly happen.
Wow, I just love when she explores the full range of her human characters from A to B.

If she has finally found a role that suits her limited range, good for her. Most of the movies dealing with conflicts in Middle East from Gulf War forward haven’t fared too well at the BO, so will be interesting to see how this one does.

I’m a little off-topic, but one of her costars in Camp X-Ray is a fantastic actor named Peyman Moaadi. If you haven’t seen him in A Separation, I highly recommend you do so!
A Separation is an excellent movie! Yup, I remember Peyman. So he’s in Camp X Ray? I might want to check that when it comes out.
This looks good, I actually want to see it. Oscar nom? I don’t know, quite the competition this year, but she’s doing good work which is an improvement from her usual. If only she could conduct herself better when promoting these things…
Also, I don’t get the complaining about the jeans. Where I live, the norm is to wear this kind of pants. All the time. All women wear jeans this thight and the more they accentuate their curves the better. That is the standard so I’m always a little bit puzzled when jeans like the ones Kristen wears get a bad comment.
Well as always Kristen Stewart is looking like Kristen Stewart. They put “no make up” makeup on her to made her look more ordinary. And made her play some bad ass. But then she opens her mouth and it’s same monotonic voice. Seriously – she has absolutely no emotions when she speaks. It’s like she is standing in recording studio and is reading text,
As someone said – it’s like directors don’t know how to make Kristen Stewart act and look natural. So they just put her in the center and let other, more talented actors act circles around her. You could really notice that all the actors around Kristen always PLAY good and look the character.. Even that Prison Brake actor looks fine.
