Brandi Glanville posted this ^^ photo on her Twitter a few weeks ago with the message “Awe! Missing Amsterdam.” Brandi and the RHOBH went on a cast trip (filmed, of course) to the Netherlands last month I think. And that’s where Brandi apparently met this guy in the photo. He’s 23 years old. And he’s Brandi’s new boyfriend.
There’s a cougar on the loose! In her column for Australia’s New Weekly magazine, Brandi Glanville admitted she’s dating a 23-year-old that she met during a recent trip to Amsterdam.
“So, I just got back from a little trip to Amsterdam with the other Housewives,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star wrote. “I can’t tell you anything about the trip except I have a boyfriend! I met a cute guy in the Red Light District! He’s very handsome and we’ve been Skyping. He’s 23, so it’s like having a third child. He’s so gorgeous, it’s stupid, but he’s going to come out here! He’s clearly from a well-to-do family. Like, he paid the bills, he opened doors. Hey, I make friends wherever I go. Anything to get away from the drama.”
This is something I’ve never really understood. I mean, I sort of get the cougar thing when a woman is in her 40s and the “cub” is maybe in his late 20s. But I don’t get wanting a guy in their late teens and early 20s. Most of those dudes are tools. It’s not their fault, it’s just that age. It’s bad enough to deal with those guys when you’re actually the same age, I can’t imagine wanting to do it when you’re in your 40s. Still, Brandi likes ‘em pretty and I doubt this is something super-serious.
Also – Brandi has been tweeting a lot about her father’s health problems lately. Apparently, LeAnn Rimes’ fans have been harassing Brandi via Twitter about her dad. Ugh. STOP IT.

Also, just FYI, that’s not a photo of the two of them standing in the red light district. It’s the Rembrandtplein, next to one of the city’s biggest clubs (Escape).

I loved living there so much, would move back in a heartbeat!
We lived in 26 cities on tour over the last five years, but Amsterdam was our favorite by far. Too many pluses to mention and the Autumn and Winter are stunning there.

Those guys are a dime a dozen here, probably has rich parents. Nothing special really. But if they are having fun, good for them.

sounds like she’s just having some fun with this guy, I doubt she’s serious about him. I dont see anything wrong with that as long as both parties are on the same page.
I wonder how long until LR starts seeking this guy out? I know she won’t be able to handle the thought of Brandi being happy with someone. If this story takes off it will only be a matter of time before LR is trying to get info on this dude if she hasnt already.

He’s not THAT young. It’s not like she plucked him out of school…..at 23 most people could have a college degree, car, apartment, etc. He might not know where the relationship is going (if it’ll be a SHORT fling, or whatever), but I think he knows what he’s doing–whether he’s with Brandi because he thinks she’s hot, or because she’s on tv. He’s old enough to make his own decisions. I don’t get why people clutch their pearls when it comes to stuff like this.
I’m biased because my dad was 21 when he married my mom–and instantly became a dad to three kids (and boy did his parents FREAK when he told them he got married)–who was 34.

The hate that LR fans direct at Brandi is just unreal, and LR does nothing to stop it. Brandi has at least said nice things (I think, as I would not be as civil even 5yrs later). Everyone thinks she needs to get over the divorce but she has! Only people that havent is LeAnn & Eddie because Brandi is the only reason they are in the tabloids and LR does not want to lose that, it is all she has left.

I’ll admit that I’d hit it, especially if I were on vacation. But I wouldn’t TELL anyone about it.
I know it’s harsh to judge someone on his looks, but y’all are very right. I am Dutch and lived in Amsterdam for many years. He’s very typical, a very typical douche. A specific subculture has developed in Amsterdam during the years. He probably lives in Amsterdam-Zuid, it’s close to the city center and beautiful, but the houses are super expensive. He probably drives a Vespa and shops at the PC Hooftstraat (kinda like 5th avenue but smaller and not that fancy). The Hermes belt and the shoes in the last picture are a no go. It’s just bad taste. I swear 90% op these people look and behave the same. But I also know a couple of these guys who are genuinely kind and honest, they belong to the other 10%. But I don’t think they are both expecting it to last long, so why should we be worried?

Well, I’m an immigrant living in the Netherlands, and let me tell you: Dutch people, both guys and girls, are very tall and very good – looking.
Not a fan of hers. I really feel sorry for her sons and don’t think she should have custody of them. They are going to be adversely affected being raised by her.
Lord have mercy! Just zoomed in on that pic and he looks like a child!!! He looks all of 17! Sorry – also not a fan of the cougar lifestyle even though I am of cougar age. Turns my stomach, but almost everything Brandy does turns my stomach.
They’ll be much more screwed up because of LeAnn and Eddie. At least Brandi seems to truly care about them and she actually works to support herself, unlike Eddie, who also lets his mentally unstable wife use them in staged pap shots or on twitter to hurt their mother. It’s sickening.
